Exchange of TMS 3.0.1 & TMS 13.2 Cisco TMS server does not respond. Put an end.

Hello

I recently upgraded to TMS 13.2 and installed Exchange TMS 3.0.1. Installation and Configuration worked well, but no event is synchronized to MSDS. If I look at the log file, I see the following line:

Cisco TMS Server is not responding. Halting.

It seems that TMS Exchange is not able to communicate with the TMS. Setup worked well, and the TMS user is Super Administrator, so I don't think it's a problem of permission.

I have attached the journal exchange of tms with level Debug of the game.

Any ideas?

Hey

Using HTTPS or HTTP to communicate with the SMT server through the TMSXE service?

Also, I would look in the Windows event logs to see if there's something interesting here. Especially check the application + TMSXE the event logs. I Don t want to join here (it's for the TAC) but if you see something that could be linked to the issue, please let us know.

Otherwise, I recommend you get help from TAC on this since it is more appropriate for a deeper repair.

/ Magnus

  • Microsoft Exchange: Server does not delete messages deleted or moved with Mail

It drives me crazy.  I have a Microsoft Exchange account at work that I put in place with the mail.  It seems to work perfectly in almost all respects - it synchronizes new messages, and if I send emails it works fine.  The ONLY thing is to delete messages from my Inbox on the server when I use Mail to delete them or move them out of my Inbox to a local folder; It is not even move them to the folder items deleted on the server.  So, I get messages saying: my account is almost full, and I need to access my Outlook account on a web browser and manually remove the y of my Inbox.  Yes, I checked my account preferences and made sure "store the deleted messages on the server" is disabled.

Can anyone help?  I use El Capitan with Mail 9.3 10.11.4.  I'm ready to tear my hair on it.

You drag the message out of the Exchange Inbox to records the "on my Mac"?

If so, you copy the message.

    To move...

    • Use the move icon to move the message
    • Use the command key.

This will force a move instead of a copy. It works exactly as to put them into files in the Finder — between different servers (and move from an Exchange or an IMAP folder to a local folder moves between server) the file/email is copied by default.

Cmd-drag forces a shot instead. Dragging between different folders on the same server goes by default, but a copy can be forced by holding down the Option key when you drag.

  • TMS import does not AD users

I have problems to import AD users in the TMS. In the Active Directory section, I value Allow AD groups Yes and I was able to import an AD Group, but when one in this group there is here no user in there.

I tried to connect with a user, then click Update groups of ads on the page of the group, but again, no user group.

Any which have already faced this?

Since you said you used local accounts, I assume that you have never used the AD accounts so far. If your TMS is not already a member of your AD domain name, you will need to add it, as TMS relies on IIS to authenticate, and THEY don't know how to authenticate your users, unless it is in the field (or in a domain with a trust of the user's domain relationship). If the TMS is already a member of your domain, you might have an IIS issue, in which case you should refer to Section 9 of the Troubleshooting Guide for the TMS.

  • TMS Provisioning, does not automatically synchronize the AD user

    Hi all

I have a problem with a repertoire of Provisioning TMS which are synchronized with the directory of the AD.

If I manually start sync, that works very well.

I see in the Info that will be the next time you start 04:00, but it is not synchronized with the ad automatically, only works manually.

Does anyone have an idea where I can find the log that records this synchronization.

I also know that this time is not editable, it is perhaps possible in the NMR netx 13.2 with extension 2.0 Provisioning?

    Thanks for any input

    Best regards

    Hi Georg

    Try this:

    USE TMSNG

    SET IDENTITY_INSERT [dbo]. [SchedulerEvent] WE

    INSERT INTO [dbo]. [SchedulerEvent] ([Id], [EventServiceName], [EventServiceDLL], [PrimaryServerId], [start], [CancelTime], [ExpireTime], [status], [SchedulerRuntimeStatus_Id], [priority], [progress], [EventDescription], [Settings], [EventLog], [ReoccurenceRule], [RestartTime], [AllowGUIDelete], [ExternalEventId], [RejectList], [Owner_aclUser_Id], [SendSuccessEvent], [SendFailureEvent], [LastEventLogEntry]) VALUES (12, is Tandberg. TMS. Service.TMSAgent.TMSAgentUserImportEventHandler', N ", N", ' 26-06-2009 04:00 ', ' 2009-06-26 16:00 ', ' 2109-06-26 04:00 ', N 'Log_All_Pending', 1, 1, 0, not Log_ScheduleUserImportEventHandler_Description |', N ", not 2009-06-26 09:05:52 | Log_Settings_Created', N 'EVERY1DAY', ' 2009-06-27 04:00 ', 0, NULL, NULL, 1, 0, 0, N ");

    SET IDENTITY_INSERT [dbo]. [SchedulerEvent] OFF

This should trigger it to start automatically.

And no, you cannot set the time in the new model of commissioning.

  • TMS 14.4 not send notice of end of the session for all Participants (ends)

    Greetings,

I saw an old post and I thought that some clients may have a similar problem

    https://supportforums.Cisco.com/discussion/11450416/TMS-not-sending-Conference-ending-notification-TP-rooms#comment-10118276

In our environment, TMS 14.4 will send notifications which will end the session master endpoint in a call.  It can receive one or more times.  Other endpoints can receive the message once or several times.  Older end points like the series MX (Gen1 or Gen2), or Jabber will not receive notifications.

In general, it is configurable in the TMS regarding when notifications are sent.  But we found that the messages are sent in Control Panel (display) or the monitor.  If the control panel is a Cisco model, then the message is sent to the control panel.  If the model is non-Cisco (Crestron) then the message is sent to the monitor.

You can imagine the reaction of the participants when the call ends.  They do not see the control panel for the notifications, but interaction with the call and the on-screen display.

I thought that TMS may be able to use the "send the message to the system' in the browser part.  Is there an API, I can call and target the script sending of messages to endpoints?

    Thank you.

TMS usually only send end endpoints conference notifications are managed by TMS, sort of endpoints Jabber like will not work with it without worrying.  Even in this case, the message get sent to one that is configured as the master of video conference.  What you see on the subject where the message is correct, and is by design.  I don't think that there is a way to display on the monitor, if a touch panel of Cisco is used.

Have you looked at the following setting in TMS: Configuration > conference settings > show video warnings on the Conference ending?

From 14.3 TMS, you can set it to send notifications to end conference to all the endpoints via the MCU or telepresence Server that hosts the Conference.  Given that it would send Conference ending notifications by the main video track, everyone would be able to see any endpoint is, and they use a Cisco touchscreen as well.  See the MSDS 14.3 release notes, middle of the pg 3 for more information.

  • 15.1 TMS does not respect the preferred routing protocol

    TMS 15.1

    C series: TC7.2.1, TC7.3.4

    SX20 and 80: TC7.3.4 and EC8.01

All the saved settings to VCS with addresses both H.323 and SIP.

Conference TMS-settings of parameters / advanced: shares of routing protocol: H.323

By default the Protocol of appeal located on all the evaluation criteria: H.323

When creating new conferences, connection parameter is defined as "SIP" despite the preference above, this to H.323 does not change the connection string to [email protected] / * / the alias preferred without any suffix.

I do not see anything either in the TMS open and resolved the issues list, then, until I opened a case with TAC, has anyone already opened a file, or found a way to solve this problem? (Couldn't see this issue in TMS 14.4.x)

    Thank you/Bravo

    /Jens

    Hi Jens,

I can't reproduce your problem here.  I have two end points recorded on my VCSes, and when their scheduling in TMS 15.1.0 it is showing that H.323 in connection settings.

If I click on "Settings" under the Action on the far right of the display of connection settings in MSD, I can change it to "IP - SIP" and used addresses change to SIP, and if I change it back to "IP - H.323", it changes again in the H.323 addresses.

  • TMS (server) device issues

I have a few questions about the server TMS, the autonomous unit version.

    (1) I never remember to put a password on her. What is the default?

    (2) can I install the Extension of commissioning on the device?

    THX,

    RF

    RF,

The password for THE default on the device has been "TANDBERG".

To question #2, is the official response from Cisco:

Cisco TMSPE may be installed on the now discontinued Cisco TelePresence Management Server, but note that system resources are limited to 2 GB RAM, which will reduce performance. We recommend using the server for small deployments only and ultimately migrating to hardware with more resources available.

    Thank you

  • TMS does not COR of VCS Control collect

    Hi all

Our TMS does not collect call Record of VCS control detail.

(Reports > call detail record > Gatekeeper and VCS)

He collected CDR properly until 2 August.

But it does not collect no COR from 3 August until today even if many calls are housed.

We have not changed configurations of MSDS and the VCS.

What should I check on TMS and VCS?

    Any advice is welcome

    Best regards

    Kotaro Hashimoto

As mentioned in Magnus, is a known issue with X7.2 for CDR.

    Symptom:

TMS will not to CDR data type 'Gatekeeper and VCS' and the journal-web - public.txt in TMS log file will contain entries that are similar to the:

-End of the exception stack trace internal-

    TMS Version 13.2.1

    Background:

Due to a change in the feedback XML VCS sends to TMS for events related to calls connection / disconnection, TMS is not able to correctly interpret the XML data provided by the VCS. For this reason, TMS is not capable of generating records CDR based on feedback data provided by the VCS.

    Workaround:

Currently, there is no workaround known workaround for this issue when executing software X7.2 on VCS. X7.1 and earlier versions of the VCs are not affected by this problem.

This will be fix with the next maintenance release, X7.2.1.

  • TMS server and control the VCS

    Hello

We have a customer's request if they can change the usename (admin) of control VCS in the TMS server. They don't want to purge the VCS of TMS server control, because they still need all the TMS Server historical reports. Basiaclly, they won't use the username: admin more to managing TMS server. They can create another account in the control of VCS with admnin rights, but how they change in the SMT server without purge from the TMS server.

In the server of TMS, the VCS control connections tab, there is a place to change the password. but no place the username change.

    TMS software version: 13.1.2

    VCS Control version: 7.0.1

Note: I noticed that this option is available on the server SMT version 14.2.

    Thank you

    Kind regards

    Chris

    Hello

Using a different name that 'admin' to manage the VCS was introduced in TMS 14.1 (CSCuc88048). Not even bleed and add will help them, I'm afraid!

Your client is upgraded if they want to use a different user name.

  • TMS Server installation

    Dear experts,

Apologies if this has already been asked (and answered). We currently use 13.2 TMS (with Provisioning) installed on the server of Tanderg Management Suite.

Is it possible to install the v.13.2 on our own TMS MS Windows Server 2003 or Windows Server 2008 that is in line with the requirements of harware and software specified in Cisco_TMS_Install_Getting_Started_Guide_13-1-2. Maybe we need something else?

    Many thanks in advance,

    Nick

Hi, I can't find the link to the message in this app, but answer the question by Dale Ritchie in another thread if you search for 'device 13 to 14'. I copied in its response:

The TMS device must be able to handle an upgrade to 14.2.1... although we remove soon supported for Windows Server 2003 and the TMS is EOS/EOLed.

Therefore, I recommend that migrate you the application MSD and MSD SQL db (aka tmsng) to a customer owned server, HW or VMware.

And if you 'migrate', note that you will need to get the new release for the TMS key since the TMS release the keys for the first TMS device started with 80Bxxxxx and the sw begins with 80Axxxxx. To do this, refer to the following instructions:

    1. the customer must first order a copy basis of TMS using CTI-TMS-SW-K9. This will provide them with a serial number non-appareil/software-only that will begin with 80Axxxxx. As the basic software, it will come with 10 licenses of system. So they buy actually 10 additional systems of what they had before.

    2. once they have new serial number, call the TAC and ask an SR to be raised with GLO (global operations of licenses). This is a request for re-accommodation for options on their TMS Server device, with a serial number that starts with 80Bxxxxx, to re - host new software serial number alone (again, starting by 80Axxxxx).

3 GLO will forward the application to the TMS PLM. The PLM TMS usually approves most, if not all of the elements of the application.

    4. the customer will receive back a new PAK (product authorization key) to face their serial number of 80Axxxxx to the cicso.com/go/licensing page. They can then update their existing installation of TMS with the new release key. After pressing the Save, this will update serial number in the lower right of the browser. All they need to do is add keys option one by one, and then tap Save when done.

    Rgds,

    Dale

  • Configuration model does not not on TMS MXP endpoints

    Hi team,

We have a TMS 14.3.1 versioned and also many MXP and C series Endpoints. We was created on TMS configuration model to make the control of end of Far off on each endpoint. We created the model in TMS with the following selection of the 'avancΘs selection' IE Conference Farend of Mode of control in all systems. When we put it on the systems of the series C and series MXP, concluded that the model is working very well with endpoint endpoint C series but not even working on MXP endpoints. We rebooted the system and created the configuration template only for the MXP endpoint with conference Farend Mode control, end of the wrench and Far end camera Control and found doesn't work is not on the system.

Our all the endpoints MXP are on versions F9.3.1.Please suggested in this

What role selected must be selected as model for end so that he can work on the MXP endpoints.

    Concerning

    Tarun

Not 100% sure what you want to do.

Block the FECC for remote sites cannot control this system or disable FECC on this endpoint

not being able to control the remote site.

FECC is to disable to get controlled by remote control, the key is to disable the site remotely by remote control.

If it does not you check if you can set via the api endpoint itself.

Make a mark on the tms using http to manage could also show you what you use the template.

If this does not help and you do not get a better answer here and you have a valid

service contract, consider this escalation to Cisco TAC.
