• Cisco EX60 Touch Panel error

  I just had to RMA a Cisco EX60 because the release key obtained would never agree on the system.  I got a new EX60 this morning.  After connecting the touch screen of the device and it turn, it attempts to downgrade or upgrade the touchscreen.  I arrive at the verification of the Signature does not and crashes.  I tried to restart the EX60 ANDS as well as reset the touch screen.  I even swapped touch screen to achieve the same result.  Any ideas?

  The error message "has no signature verification" indicates that the pkg file you are trying to install has been corrupted.

  you get this error message on touch screen or on the unity of the EX60 CLI?

  I will recommend you to configure a DHCP server on the PC and assign IP address to the unit (as by default it is on DHCP as IP assginment Protocol) and then access the unit to improve TC 6.3 and then connect touch panel.

  You can use DHCP32 software for it and a cross over connection between ex60 and PC.

  After configuring the name of the device via web system unit starts an endless loop.

  (The cisco logo appears on the screen and then reboots)

  Tried this:

  Mechanically factory reset EX 60

  1. disconnect the power cable.

  2 reconnect the power cable.

  3 press and hold the power button immediately when the Green LED at the bottom left lights. Keep until the LED turns on after 10 seconds.

  4. release the power button and press the button twice within 2 seconds.

  no effect at all.

  No console cable.

  Any ideas?

  This is a known issue and I suspect that you have changed the name > = 50 characters?

  Basically, you need to find a way to change the name of the unit. A thing may be that if you have SSH access to the unit you can actually connect as root before restarting the unit and write: touch/user/noboot

  If you manage to do before it restarts, you can write: tsh to access the API, then change the name:

  XConfiguration systemunit name: something< 50="">

  If you have a cable from the console you can use this as well to do the same.

  Factory reset procedure, you followed should have done the trick. Try again.

  Now it starts and displays the updated level screen, then says error and automatically restarts.

  I have ASA 5520 with 'inside' in local network interface and the interface 'outside' in the face of the internet.

  There are line ssh 192.168.0.0 255.255.0.0 inside for the ASA to LAN access. And deny a rule for incoming traffic on the 'outside' interface.

  I see a lot of refuse the connection from different addresses to 'outside' interface on the ASA in syslog. When I scan external interface with nmap to port tcp/22 internet is marked as closed. Are there opportunities to make filtered?

  Syslog entries are just one indicator of the SAA does its job to block the script kiddies to penetrate your firewall. I see them all the time on Internet-facing firewall when the logging level is set high enough and it's explicit deny on the inbound access list (/ the implicit deny any one who will be outside).

  You can either lower the recording level (4 is recommended), filter this message or pass to a level that is lower than your level on a daily basis, then it disappears as a recurring message that requires no action.

  I'm trying to access a simple management LAN thru 4 after the VPN connection is established.

  Currently I have the management port of a HP Server directly connected to 4, but later, I would like to use a switch to connect the rest of the ports of server management to 4. 4 is configured as VLAN4.

  Is this possible using FE ports 2-9?

• How to add new data and delete old data from a custom text file?

  Hi guys!

  Well, I'm in a bit of trouble.

  I need to make a request to some GPS tools. Split data in indicators, generate coordinates (google maps format), and so it goes.

  One of the functions of the systems is the calculation of oscillation of coordinates. The formula should be: latitude 1 - latitude 2 = latitude AND longitude 1 - 2 = swing longitude longitude oscillation.

  Since I'm on two values, I thought: "Oh, if I connect these data in a file, I just pick up and do all the calculations part." Yes, this idea is adapted to my needs (even if it is not the best, the computer part solved my problem).

  BUT I don't see a way to write the current value of the loop and erase the old results.

  For example, suppose that loop 1 gave me 1.00000, 2,00000 coordinates and loop 2 gave me the coordinates 3.00000 and 4.00000. Right?

  My log file is similar to: 1.00000,2.00000; 3.00000,4.00000;

  Well, it works. However, we will look forward to loop 3: coordinates 5.00000,6.00000.

  If the program connects to it, I would get the chain: 1.00000,2.00000; 5.00000,6.00000; When I really need 3.00000,4.00000; 5.00000,6.00000;.

  For this reason, when I apply the calculation of oscillation, it will always take the most recent value and do all the calculations with the first result (from loop 1).

  I guess my question is why write a file just to delete.

  If you pass an array of points from one iteration to another, you will have to take extra time to open the file, read the file, delete the old data, writing the new data, save the file, and then close the file.  It would be pretty much the same thing, but without having to go through the hard drive.

  Just a thought.

• Router Cisco has tried to take a firmware update and no longer works

  OK, so internet worked very well until Cisco Connect told me to take an update.  My connection is connected and there is no disruption during the download.  Yet the download failed again and now my power light flashes constantly and there is no internet access.  I tried to find out "How to unbrick your Cisco router", even pushed them to work, it took the update of the firmware of the cmd line.  Still does not work.  What is the problem with this thing and how to fix it?

  I finished downloading a firmware utility program and managed to get to recharge. The power led has become solid somewhere between 2-5 minutes, is however not yet connect to internet.  Found that all this factory reset will change your Internet username & password, with no way to find a new one.  You must remove the program Cisco connect from your computer and reload from the original disc.  Only then you will be in service yet.  While I appreciate the answer Helm, I was well beyond a second solution 30 reset button when I posted this lol.

• Stop fieldChange loops

  I use a FieldChangeListener on two fields, and when one of the two fields are changed by the user, the other field is updated by the program.

  For example, I want a change of user to the first field to update the second field and stop.

  A change of user for the second field should update the first field and stop.

  How can I keep it from looping automatically from one to the other?

  Is there a way to determine if the second field is get updated because:

  (1) the first field has been changed by the user or

  (2) the second field has been changed by the user?

  I tried to check if (FieldChangeListener.PROGRAMMATIC), but it is always true.

  Thanks for the interest.  I found a solution.

  I had two fields (think payment and amount).  Given that the price of the order of the day is fixed, I could change the amount I pay (payment) and the amount I would receive would update.  Or I could change the amount I want to buy and update the payment.

  The problem I had was that because these two areas were controlled by the listener of domain change, as soon as it would automatically update the other, an infinite loop would begin.

  I solved it by creating a new Boolean variable that I set to false by default.

  I check this variable in the fieldChanged method and if it is true, I put it to false and back.

  When the field is changed, I immediately put the new variable to false to stop the loop.

  Here is an excerpt:

• Tests EX60 UCM and VCS registration

  I did a few test with Cisco EX60 a few days ago a the following infrastructure:

  -UCM 8.6.2

  -Cisco VCS control X7.2.2

  -Cisco EX60 series

  -Csco EX90 series

  -Cisco CPIC

  -Cisco IP Phone

  The goal was to try to save the EX60 in SIP mode with UCM and H.323 mode in VCSC and make some calls with EX60 register in both devices, because I have found no documents where it was stated that only I can save EX60, EX90 in VCS or Complutense University of MADRID, but not in both at the same time.

  I recorded the EX90 in VCS and EX60 in VCS (H.323) and UCM (SIP).

  All calls to H.323 devices EX60 send control VCS and all calls all works fine without any problems. If I try to call EX90 to EX60 in SIP mode, the call will be fails. When the EX90 with EX60 H.323 call is connected, the University Complutense of MADRID and using RTMT I saw that the EX60 was on appeal or in busy state.

  -Audio call of the registered IP phone or CPIC to the AAU to EX60: I saw the call in the call control in the EX60 and RTMT and Complutense University of MADRID, but I did not see the call to the control VCS Cisco. If I try to call to EX90 to EX60 using H.323 right now, I got an EX60 busy tone. Also, if I make an audio call to EX60 for an IP phone I can do another audio EX60 call to an IP phone or an EX90. EX90 try to video negotited but calls finally was audio only.

  -The presence does not work when the EX60 is under appeal with the other end H.323 in the Complutense University of MADRID, too the BLFs do not work and does not appear the call at the Complutense University of MADRID.

  -Si EX60 is videoconferencing with EX90, the EX60 can receive an audio call to UCM get connect and the presence and the BLFs working properly.

  I find no more problems at the moment.

  Yes, I do it with success on a couple of first 2.0 facilities. My case later included NX - OS - 5548UP and 5596UP 5.2 (1) N1 (4) running and 6.0 (2) N2(1b).

  1. translation of the external internship (if I'm using different IP addresses, I have)

  In CentOS iptables, (1) is something like this:

  Let me explain such NAT only implemented on Cisco devices from a different perspective - maybe that will clarify things.

  All the translations that you must configure will be configured with the ip nat inside source command, regardless if the connection is initiated from inside or outside your network.

  The ip nat inside source command is used to define a multitude of different behaviors of NAT:

  1. A static 1:1 mapping between the internal and external IP address (no ports). In this way, you essentially expose the entire station with the internal IP to the outside world using the external address configured. At any time, a connection can be started from the inside IP address (and it will be translated to the address that is configured on the outside), or a connection may be initiated at the external IP address (and it will be translated to the address configured on the inside). The map is 1:1 meaning that a single internal IP address must be mapped to a single outside IP address and an external IP address must be mapped to an internal IP address. In other words, you need as many outside IP addresses as internal IP addresses that you want to expose in this way. The syntax of the command is ip nat inside source static I.I.I.I O.O.O.O where I.I.I.I is inside O.O.O.O IP address is the external IP address.
  2. A static 1:1 mapping between an individual internal and external IP and port transport. The behavior is identical to that described in the previous type, with the significant difference that the translation only applies to traffic coming from the individual inside the IP/port combination, or for traffic destined to the individual outside the IP/port combination. This type of translation is configured using the ip nat inside source static {tcp | udp} I.I.I.I p O.O.O.O P where I.I.I.I and O.O.O.O are inside/outside of the IP addresses, p is inside the port and P is the external port. You can use the I.I.I.I and the O.O.O.O as long the translations are unique, i.e. the particular combination of p, or O.O.O.O, I.I.I.I, and P must never be used twice.
  3. A 1:1 mapping dynamic between a set of internal IP addresses and a pool of the same size (or larger) of the external IP addresses. What is this configuration is assigning each inside a particular outside the IP address IP address each time that a connection is initiated from the inside IP address. This mapping exists for a limited period of time and expires at the end of the inside address IP interrupts the communication with the outside world. Therefore, for a long period of time, one inside the IP may get translated addresses to different outside intellectual property, there is therefore no mapping 1:1 fixed between inside and outside addresses. The mapping is only temporary and changes over time. Connections to the external IP address only succeed if there is that a mapping created for this outside the IP, otherwise they do not. I don't know if you want to set up this kind of behavior NAT, so I'm not including an example configuration now. If you want that your NAT is behaving this way, let me know.
  4. A M:1 dynamic mapping between a set of internal IP addresses and a smaller pool of external IP addresses. It is basically the type of NAT Linux behaviour typical SNAT-j when to hide multiple internal IP addresses under one outside the IP address using the address and the port of rewriting. A special case of this configuration is NATting to the external IP address configured on an interface, similar to the MASQUERADE target in Linux.

  Types 1. and 2. in this description do not apply to ACLs because they are static, meaning that they perfectly define the inside and the outside address already. However, the dynamic mappings in step 3. and 4. above must use an ACL to specify which traffic should be translated. If, therefore, using maps dynamic, it is mandatory to create an ACL that selects the traffic to be handled by the dynamic NAT, and Moreover, this ACL must exempt explicitly traffic already managed by static to be also managed by this dynamic otherwise NAT. NAT entries, this traffic could in circumstances poorly translated.

  What you have said, I think you want to go with the types of NAT 1 configuration. and 2. as described earlier in this post. Would this be what you're looking for?

  If your timeline plays repeatedly the keyframe where starts your sound, you will need to remove your sound on the timeline and use actionscript to play your sound.

  Otherwise, click the keyframe where starts your sound and, in the properties panel, there is a loops parameter which should be 0.
