  I am trying to configure snmp v3 to monitor my cisco IOS devices
  I get the following error when I try to add configuration properties
  "The configuration has not been set for this resource due to: invalid configuration: error reported by Agent @ 10.101.11.56:2144: java.lang.UnsupportedOperationException: v3 snmp4j support not yet."
  The monitoring agent is the hyperic Server

  When HQ was opened last year to replace our client SNMP with SNMP4J library source.  Since that we've not seen the SNMP v3 support.

  I try to add a router IOS (as a platform) my Hyperic (3.2.1) resources and I kept getting this error (see the following stack trace).

  So, I downloaded the src and it built with the following parameters of the construction.
  Windows Server 2003 SP2 (Standard edition)
  Java 1.5 update 15, Ant 1.7.0 JBoss 4.0.3SP1, PostgreSQL
  
  However, I still get the same error. After adding a few log statements, I realized that in NewPlatformAction.java ("run" method), the value of the agent is zero [agent is created by calling BizAppUtils.getAgentConnection (...)] which causes the NullPointerException in the above stack trace [boss.createPlatform (...,...,..., agent.getId ())].
  
  BizAppUtils.getAgentConnection () is essentially a block of code to check if the "IP Port string' is null or not and this string always seems to be the null value. I put some instructions to log in NewPlatformAction.java and BizAppUtils.java and have cut-and - paste a few lines of the log server below.
  
  Basically, BizAppUtils jump the complete code block that is supposed to create an Agent.

  I was able to reproduce using a fresh installation with no agent installed.  At least one officer has, on the same machine that the HQ server is fine.  We should apply rather than just displaying this message:
  "There is no agent available to treat this platform."

  Can you install + import agent and try again?

  I would like updrage IOS for my ADSL/router Cisco 887.

  I found a version of firmware named c800-universalk9-mz. Spa. 154 - 3.M3.bin but my rom is named c880xxxxxxxxxxxxxx

  When I put the c800 firmware, it says ' % caveat: an executable not valid for this file system.

  So I have a doubt about the IOS to take, I do a version of the show to be sure.

  Can someone give me the file name and the path of the last IOS for my device please?

  The release notes for 15.4.3.M3 do not include the plain 887 in the list of the supported hardware.

  The release notes for the version that I have recommended to include it.

  If you download IOS images, you must be eligible for the support of the TAC. So feel free to prosecute to confirm.

• Question of IOS 15.4 enable Secret

  My understanding is that secret enable type 4 is a concern for safety and the control of type 4 is frowned upon in IOS 15.4 M.

  I would like to create an enable secret using a password in plaintext and encrypted it is not visible from the command line or the configuration file. I have woulkd like to be able to "copy" this password to enable secret on other devices as well. Is there a way to create an enable secret password in plain text and have the router hash/encrypt?

  Simply type:

  You can then copy the plain text or encrypted command to another device version.

  PS. I have written a password cracker 5 type in javascript.  It is faster on Chrome.  If you can crack the password with this then you know that you have chosen a weak password.

  If you use IOS 15.4 as you indicate, they you can use the much much much stronger algorithm scrypt.

  We have several network devices Cisco, put in place who authenticate to our Windows using NPS (Windows 2008 R2) DC. Switches we have implemented the function exactly as we would wish that they need your domain user name and password to connect to the device. Then they require a separate password when you use the enable command, it is stored in Active Directory:

  You must use GANYMEDE + instead of RADIUS for this.

  someone knows how can I can see/Access Keychain Access Secure Notes (created in Mac OS), using synchronization iCloud on any device 10 IOS (iPhone, iPad)? I can see passwords, maps via Safari on IOS, but not course notes - is this supported feature? Or I have to use the 3rd party app (1password) to get the ability to share notes secured between devices?

  Your notes are in the Notes app on iOS device, on OS X, or iCloud.com.

• Imports of my camera appear on all iOS devices.

  I have a single library in my Photos for Mac (MacBook Air) and I put it to automatically forward your photos to iCloud and my iOS devices (photo stream indicator is activated). That's fine when most of my photos is taken with my phone. However, I recently downloaded ~ 1000 photos of my DSLR camera and they take a lot of space on my Mac and now also showed on my phone! What I want to do is to download my photos from digital SLR camera in the Photos app to work on a project, store them on iCloud, but they don't appear on my phone. How should I do? Is it better to create a different library in pictures and there no sync for my iOS devices? I had no such problem with iPhoto because only the photos from my iPhone were download of Photo Stream (rather than 2-way streaming). As to the issue of space I had stored my iPhoto on an external device library. I'm just trying to understand how best to manage this problem in Photos for Mac.

  You can have a library that is enabled for iCloud on your Mac, if you activate my Phto Stream for this library to download from your iiPhone, it will be 2-way and also download on the iPhone.

  If you want to only download from the iPhone, do not use y Photo Stream, but download by connecting the iPhone to a USB port.

  If you connect to any device iOS with your Apple ID and password, you have access to your content to iCloud.

  Not sure where you can get the data however.

  You turn on the new authentication to older two factors or two steps checking?

  Here's how you can make a difference:

  Two-factor authentication can be turn on only using parameters of iCloud on iOS devices running iOS 9 or Mac OS X running El Capitan (10.11) or later.

  Two-step verification can only be enabled when you go to the web page of my Apple ID.

  If you receive only codes by SMS, then my guess is that you are using the older two-step verification.

  First be sure that you are connected to iCloud on your iPhone and iPad using the same account that you are using for the two-step verification.

  Then, make sure you have find my activation of the iPhone on your iPhone and my iPad to find on your iPad. You will find the switch in iCloud decoration on both devices.

  Then, connect to your Apple ID account on the web page of my Apple ID. From there, you will need to check each device you want to receive codes by sending a verification code to each device.

• Receiver Yamaha RX-A730 of airtime either available on iOS devices

  Since an update of my wireless network, my yamaha receiver RX-A730 airplay functionality is unavailable on my iOS devices. It still works, but since an update of my wireless settings I can't listen to music more than my iOS to my Yamaha via Airplay receiver devices.

  I didn't replace any material or I got an update of the firmware (latest version installed).

  All devices (iOS and receiver) are connected to my wireless network that comes from my Airport Time Capsule (2, 4 GHz and 5 GHz active). My time capsule airport is connected to my wireless router with the wireless signal was turned off. If only my Time Capsule Airport sends a wireless signal.

  It seems not to be a problem with network or connection that I can access my Yamaha receiver via the browser of my MacBook. The receiver is connected to the same network as all my other devices. Also, I can control my receiver on my iPad and iPhone via the application of receiver AV Yamaha wireless and I can wireless stream my music to all my devices on my receiver via Spotify Connect.

  All these features are working fine on my receiver, but the only thing that doesn't work is the airplay feature. The function of airtime on my receiver not just appear on my iOS devices (which always worked correctly).

  Can anyone help this issue?

  I understand that your Yamaha receiver is is no longer recognized for AirPlay on your iOS devices. I see as well as you tried to isolate and resolve problems already, but the problem persists.

  In this case, I suggest reading more if you do not see the device you want to listen to section in the following article. It seems that you have completed these steps already, but in the context of them will ensure that everything is correct.

  If you do not see the device you want to broadcast on

  When you tap AirPlay on your iOS device, you should see a list of devices that you can stream the content to. If you don't see the device you want, follow these steps. After each step, try again:

  1. Make sure that the device that you want to broadcast to trendy East and under tension.
  2. On your Apple TV, make sure that the AirPlay is enabled in settings > AirPlay.
  3. On your iOS device, go to settings > Wi - Fi and verify that you are on the same WiFi network as your Apple TV.
  4. On your Apple TV (4th generation), go to settings > network and verify that you are on the same WiFi network as your iOS device. Apple TV (2nd or 3rd generation), go to settings > general > network. If your Apple TV using an Ethernet connection, check that the cable is plugged into the router that you use for the free Wi - Fi connection.
  5. If you use an iPad, scroll to the top and down in the list of devices to see all available devices.

• How to use iCloud for PC without an iOS device?

  I received an invitation to join a place to share photos of iCloud.  I'm not an Apple user, do not have an iOS device (or plan in the near future).

  I've created an Apple ID iCloud and have iCloud account.  I downloaded and installed iCloud for Windows on my PC.  However when I try to run the program and enter my Apple ID and password to connect, I get the following message:

  Unable to connect

  Your identifier Apple must serve to iCloud on an OS X device or an iOS to install before you can use iCloud for Windows.

  Is this to say that I can't access the iCloud photo sharing subscription since I did not have an iOS device to set up my account?  ICloud photos can be shared with users who have an iOS device to that?

  You can create an Apple on a Windows PC ID, but you cannot create an iCloud account - it is a separate additional process and unless you've been able to create one on a Mac or iOS device you don't have an iCloud account, only an Apple ID. This is why the error message you see.

  iCloud accounts are essentially positioned as a way for Mac/iOS users synchronize data from their devices and are a free service at the Starter level; the control panel is intended for users of Mac/iOS, which also happens to have a Windows PC. They are not intended for Windows users only. Unless you can find a way to set up a device to iCloud on a Mac or an iOS device, you will not be able to move forward.

  iCloud sharing photos can be configured as a public or private - the first are directly accessible in any web browser, but private sharing requires you to have iCloud account. If your source is not willing to set up a public share (that would be accessible to the world in general) you will not be able to access it without an iCloud account.
