  If nothing else works you can try this however I would use as a last resort.

  IE - Tools - Internet Options - Advanced Options - Security Section - clear the check box enable memory Protection to mitigate
  Online - APPLY - OK attacks close and restart IE

  Someone else suddenly had their role sendAndLoad() stop working in Internet Explorer (V6.0.2)? The following code exists in my site and worked about 3 days ago. I did no changes but now the sendAndLoad function does not work in Internet Explorer, but it still works perfectly in Firefox (I checked to make sure that neither is cached).

  Everything good, YES return a dummy variable has fixed the problem, I don't know why it has changed, as I said earlier, it worked last week and it works on Firefox (which is not my browser of choice, I usually develop in IE).

  The upper arms on a web page will not work. Tried on ebay and even your web page. Other links on the page seem to operate only those near the top of the page. The mouse does not recognize them in links. Was working before. Fine links using work internet explore.

  Recently, the Yahoo toolbar and the extension of Babylon have been reported because of this problem. They appear to overlap invisibly on the top of the display of the web page. If you have one or both, uninstall or disable them/it or see if an update is available that solves the problem.

  I seem to have a strange issue of SSL VPN.  I have a Cisco 877 router with c870-advsecurityk9 - mz.124 - 24.T4.bin and I can't get the SSL VPN (VPN Web) works with Internet Explorer (tried IE8 on XP and IE9 on Windows 7).  When I go to https://x.x.x.x, I 'Internet Explorer cannot Display The Webpage ".  It kind of works in Chrome (I can get the Web page and connect, but I can't start the thin client, when I click on Start, nothing happens).  It seems to only work with Firefox.  It seems quite similar to this topic with the ASAs - http://www.infoworld.com/d/applications/cisco-asa-users-cant-use-ssl-vpns-ie-8-901

  I would check out where exactly it is a failure, either the connection ssl itself or something after that. The best way to do that is executed a wireshark capture when you try to access the page using IE. You can compare this with that with Mozilla too just to confirm that ssl works fine.

  Also you can try with different SSL encryption algorithms as a difference between the browsers is the encryption they use. 3DES is expected to be a good option to try.

• Browser homepage no longer works in firefox. It works in internet explore. What could be the problem?

  When I connect start page in firefox and type "gmail" it gives me just a blank page. But startpage works in internet explore. What could be the problem.

  You click on the first link to open it in a new tab. All very well.
  You click on a second link and get a blank page.

  If you are not sure whether your extensions could be the problem, you can disable those which are not essential and see if that makes a difference.

  Or you can copy and paste a list of your extensions on the support information page. To be open, use:

  • type or paste everything: in the address bar and press Enter

  Try Firefox Safe mode to see if the problem goes away. Firefox Safe mode is a troubleshooting mode that temporarily disables hardware acceleration, restores some settings and disables add-ons (extensions and themes).

  If Firefox is open, you can restart Firefox Safe mode in the Help menu:

  • Click the menu button

    then select restart with disabled modules.

  If Firefox does not work, you can start Firefox in Mode safe as follows:

  • On Windows: Hold down the SHIFT key when you open the desktop Firefox or shortcut in the start menu.
  • On Mac: Hold the option key during the startup of Firefox.
  • On Linux: Exit Firefox, go to your Terminal and run firefox-safe-mode
    (you may need to specify the installation path of Firefox for example/usr/lib/firefox)

  When the Firefox Safe Mode window appears, select "start mode safe."

  

  If the problem is not present in Firefox Safe Mode, your problem is probably caused by an extension, theme or hardware acceleration. Please follow the steps described in the section Troubleshooting extensions, themes and problems of hardware acceleration to resolve common Firefox problems to find the cause.

  To exit safe mode of Firefox, simply close Firefox and wait a few seconds before you open Firefox for normal use again.

  Immediately after the Update Beta 34.0, Silverlight and Flash, completely stopped working in Firefox. I am running Vista Home Premium, Service Pack 2.

  They work fine in Internet Explorer.

  This happens in any website I want.

  For example, I can go on Youtube and the page will display a black box where the video should be, but there is no control of playback, or any way to activate the video. Clicking in the black box has no effect.

  On the site of game music, Grooveshark, the site does not recognize Flash installed at all. (If you have not installed Flash, this site displays a message each time. Grooveshark correctly recognizes that Flash has been installed by Internet Explorer.)

  I've updated the Flash plugin for the current version, which also has nothing.

  I have not reinstalled Firefox, or do a system restore, still.

  I just bought a new computer I was going to migrate to and withdraw from this computer, so I wasn't going to make heroic efforts to solve this problem. I reported this more on the order of a bug report.

  Do you by chance have Flashblock installed? I had checked before and did turn off but it seems was not enough. Update b 34, 1 break Flashblock who, in turn, breaks Flash and, for me, VLC. I had to disable (in Add-ons) and restart Firefox, and now everything is fine.
