    Hello

I want to check for the stewardship of directory access privileges that we create other than cn = Directory Manager.

I see all the managers directory created the managers directory on the page of the common task tab. But I'm not able to check for privileges for directory management.

In addition to softerra, which is certainly a tool well (but) you will also review some more 'free' LDAP browsers:

    (1) apache Directory Studio [http://directory.apache.org/studio]

    (3) java 'good old' based LDAP Browser Explorer [http://www.novell.com/communities/node/8652/gawors-excellent-ldap-browsereditor-v282]

    (4) the 'good old' command line tool, which will still work: ldapsearch

  • Maintain a solenoid open for a certain period of time

    Hello

I have a NI 9472 with a solenoid attached. I developed a simple vi to operate the solenoid valve (normally closed) when a preset pressure (i.e. pressure) is reached, that is, the valve opens when the pressure exceeds the set value and closes when it falls below the set value.  However, what I really want the vi to do is open the tap for a certain period of time (say 1 dry), so that the built-up pressure may be entirely liberated before the tap is closed, so pressure is composed from zero again and the cycle repeats. I have read some threads already, but I haveen can't has found an answer that works for my application. Please check and looking forward for your help!

  • Error: "one of the drives should be checked for consistency" to start the computer

    The original title: disk space

My laptop is an Acer Aspire 5000 running with XP Home Edition. At a hard 100G drive with 2 partitions fat. Recursively shows problem at startup. The message displayed is "one of the drives should be checked for consistency. So when he was checked always check disk space and get stored at 41%. I tried to restore several times, but it is once again no place for a long time.

Could you help me with this?

    Hi RodrigoGodinez,

Sometimes the disk check always starts check the file system on one or more drives for consistency. If no button is pressed, the disk check is aborted. In fact, it is because a data structure of the disc or file is corrupted which can not be recovered and check disk always runs at Windows startup.

Restart the computer and run the command chkdsk from the recovery console.

To boot into the recovery console, see the following article:

    Additional reference on:

For more information about the disk check, see:

Note: While running chkdsk on the drive if bad sectors are found on the hard drive when chkdsk attempts to repair this area so all available data on this risk to be lost.

If the disk check done in start the computer every time, here is an article that could be useful for:
  • Run CHKDSK /F to check for hard drive corruption. STOP: 0x0000007B__Blue screen

I have a Vista 64 bit OS.  I tried to do a system restore to the last checkpoint to interrupt a Service Pack.  Restore failed (don't remember exact error), now when I try to boot Vista, I get a message saying to run CHKDSK /F to check for hard drive corruption.  STOP: 0X0000007B
    My questions are:
    (1) do I need Vista recovery CD in order to enter the menu advanced at this stage startup options?
    (2) if I decide to upgrade to Windows 7 now, made the stop: 0x0000007B have a problem with that?  or could I fall in Windows 7?
Vista 64 gave me many problems and I think its time to make him... Thanks in advance... Mark

    Hi Markgod5,

Thank you for visiting Microsoft Answers.

It seems that the hard drive is damaged if we get this error message to running chkdsk.

You can start the computer in safe mode with command prompt and see if you can start.  Then run the chkdsk command.

To do this follow these steps:

    (a) restart your computer if it is running.

    (b) press F8 after your computer powers initially on.

    (c) once you see the menu Advanced Boot Options, you can stop tapping.

    (d) use the up/down arrow keys to select Safe mode with command prompt.

    (e) in the command prompt window, type the following command and press enter Chkdsk /R and Chkdsk /F

Using recovery DVDs, you cannot switch mode winRE (Windows Recovery Environment) to run chkdsk. You need DVD full version (Win 7/Vista) or Vista repair disk.

You probably won't be able to install win 7 because the problem is with the hard drive and chkdsk should be run for the error.

Hope the helps of information. Please post back and we do know.

  • Windows can't check for updates 80244019 error code.

I have a problem, the system is vista home basic. Windows can't check for updates 80244019 error code. I have read many of the forms and ran from bugs that I found from microsoft. Further investigation indicates the RPC and DCOM service Launcher are grayed out and cannot be started or stoped.   Registry settings look good for the RPC service.  The DCOM service depends on RPC service.  In the GUI at the same time say they are started but from the comand prompt, I run the command net start and neither one is registered as running.  Any help would be appreciated.

    Thank you

    Hello

    (1) did you make any changes before the show?

    See the link below:

Method 1: The problem with Microsoft Windows Update is not working

    http://support.Microsoft.com/mats/windows_update/

    Method 2: Windows Update error 80070422, 80244019, or 8DDD0018

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-AU/Windows-Vista/Windows-Update-error-80070422-80244019-or-8DDD0018

Method 3: You can start the online virus scan and check.

How to remove a computer virus?

Note: The data files that are infected must be cleaned only by removing the file completely, which means that there is a risk of data loss.

  • Win7 SP1 "Check for updates" never full

I had to reinstall a pre - SP1 version of Win7 64 bit since the partition recovery on the laptop of a friend. After getting SP1 and updates associated, I ran "Check for updates" again and had a known, documented problem in the thread at the https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_7-update/windows-7-sp1-is-not-downloading-the-updates/b80fb3f8-39c0-4f99-9f6f-8e0464488377?tab=question&status=AllReplies#tabs. Specifically, "Check" never full.

Unfortunately, the solution prescribed in this thread does not work for me. I downloaded and ran the installation program 1st in the list, (KB3153199), but this stand-alone Setup program runs in its own process of "Search for updates on this computer" and, after a full hour and counting, has not yet completed.

Is there a work around known for the solution I try?  :)

Have a read of this discussion (if you haven't already done so) who helped a certain number of questions of update - https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_7-update/windows-7-update-solution/f39a65fa-9d10-42e7-9bc0-7f5096b36d0c

  • Delete "Check for Updates" Microsoft Office 2010 - GPO

I'm working on the packaging of various components of Microsoft Office 2010, such as the shared components, the Office Software Protection Platform Service, Visio (all flavors) and project (Standard and Pro).  I wanted to delete "Check for Updates" in the Help menu.  I installed the Office administrative templates on my machine to capture, added models to gpedit.msc and open administration-> Microsoft Office 2010 templates-> disable UI elements-> "disable the commands on the file tab | Help»  I ran a prescan, then I activated the strategy, checked the box to remove the "Check for Updates" and click OK.

I open Visio and checked that the 'Check for Updates' button is greyed out.  I closed my Visio and performed a scan of post and saved the project.  I looked in all the files in the registry text.  I pulled the text below in the file HKEY_CURRENT_USER.txt, added to the lower part of the same file in my project of exisitng Visio, run build.bat, cleared out the old sandbox, launched Visio, and the button is grayed.

My question: this application will encounter problems with Group Policy objects, or the complete isolation on these entries mode settings will be sufficient to keep the setting?

Here is the text of registry I captured and added (also included in the attached text file):

If specified in your package (in the virtual environment) it will be used. Something virtual will win all the conflicts with local elements (in this case deployed GPO registry keys). If you specify a setting normally applied GPOS in your package there no way to replace it by using Group Policy objects...

  • How to check for a button

I have a form that presents itself. My submission is the standard:
< input type = "submit" name = value "btnsubmit" = "Send your order" >

When the form is submitted, I check for btnsubmit by using paramerexists or isDefined:
    < parameterexsits (btnsubmit) cfif >
    perform inserts, etc.
    < / cfif >

It works very well. But my question is what do I do if the type = instead of submit button? For example
< input type = "button" name = value "btnSubmit" = "Send your order" >

I'm little javascrpt of validation that the form is sent when the user clicks the button. However, how to determine if the button was seleceted or not, so I can do my treatment (insert, etc.)? I tried using the isDefined or parameterexists as before, but it does not work?

What is the command to verify that a button has been selected?

given that your form is sent with a function js instead of a shipment
button, the user clicks button on will not be submitted with the form.

Add a hidden field to your form, say
    name = "subject" id = "subject" value ="" >
your js validation add a line before calling submit():
    document.getElementById("submitted").value = 1;

then on your page/form action processing code search

  • Thunderbird by failing to check for mail. Must be done manually. RESOLVED by 38.3.0

About two weeks ago or so, Thunderbird stopped checking for mail. I always got it for 3 minutes and it's always worked so far. So now, I have to manually hit "Get Messages" to receive my mail. Find out how to fix this?

    Thank you!

    JQW

Please update to version 38.3.0 which came out today.

  • Thunderbird 38.2.0 does not check for incoming mail, freezing

I used Thunderbird for years without problem. Update 38.2.0 was so bad for me that I had to uninstall it. Questions:

    (1) would not check for incoming mail
    (2) popped up the windows of information that had no text and even not closing "x" in the corner (although I could click the right superior whiteness and she closed)
    (3) screen would freeze. At least the closing 'x' still - working but it's the only thing that makes.

Every update I've ever had until this has been perfectly integrated. This one was painful.

My question is when there's an update to correct these problems?

Please update to version 38.3.0 which came out today. Will probably solve your problem.

  • Check for new messages at startup does not work in the first period of 10 minutes after v38 updated. Work at the end of 10 minutes. CAUSE unknown - went away after reinstall

After the 38.0.1 of 31 thunderbird update does not check for messages at startup, tried on two workstations, mail for a single account on each account, one was pop and other imap. The check box in the accounts-> server settings has no effect. Or not safe mode or the option advanced messages "include this server when getting new messages". "." Activity Manager shows not even he is trying to connect. The question mark function still works well so if I wait 10 minutes he gets messages automatically...

I reinstalled the program once more and it works OK but it's already happened and it fails once more.

The last installation permanently solve this (so far)?
