Classic Wifi blackBerry TMO call

Hello

Yesterday, I saw that TMO made wifi available, the call for the classic. My device is unlocked on Amazon, but I use TMO and advanced and updated my software to achieve this functionality. Once you have completed the update of the wifi calling would not work. So I uninstalled the application calling wifi and now can no longer add it. I was told by Tmo to make a back up, wipe the device and reinstall the software and it should be available. Now my problem is I'm not able to save my camera to work through link. I don't know why this is happening. Maybe because we are still on XP. In any case, don't you think TMO Wifi calling is not available for unlocked Blackberry classic from Amazon?

Thank you!

• BlackBerry classic classic My Blackberry does not ring on incoming calls

Dear Blackberry classic users,

My phone was working just fine yesterday. Until then, it stopped ringing for incoming calls.

I used the medium profile, the strange thing is that, on this profile, the phone warns me on whatsapp messages, text messages, but not sounds on incoming calls.

Then I activated the normal profile and surprisingly he trained the same ringing sound on incoming calls.

Can someone help me with this problem because I use this phone for my office work and not perfom my tasks with this minor problem.

Restart the device by holding the power button for about 10 seconds, through the countdown through the logo, through the Red led and until the logo appears again.

• BlackBerry smartphone Wifi to make calls in Europe?

I (accidentally) rec were calls at 30,000 feet on a plane of delta with my option wifi network only and after you have connected to wifi on Deltas. This led me to believe that it is possible to make and receive calls anywhere in the world as long as I'm in a hotspot.

I contacted my provider, T-mobile and have rec has had their hand signals. I am about to leave for the Spain and was thinking, as long as I put my phone in wifi only, I should be able to receive calls and data without incurring roaming fees, since it's all data or VoIP via the web.

Am I correct or off my rocker?

Tmobile knows that your device has UMA calling.

As long as you're connected to WiFi and showing UMA on your screen, you can make calls on your device. From anywhere in the world. And on UMA, calls act as if you call the United States, because UMA will connect to Tmobile USA servers and calls are made from this server.

Thus, for example, while in Spain and you call via UIMA, in the USA, your call is a call USA in the USA.

If you call the Spain to England, the call is made as if the United States, in England.

I have a child in college who asked a QWERTY texting phone but doesn't have wi - fi connectivity. This who should I look for? Thanks a lot for your hel

There is no device without wifi band. All devices BB10 (Q10, Classic, passport, etc.) have the Parental control and while you can not turn off wifi completely, you can disable the browser, camera, BBM, Twitter, Facebook, Upload on Youtube, configuration of the email account, location information, buy BBWorld, install Applications and content. You can also disable the phone calls and text messages from people who are not contacts on the device.

• How to get address IP WiFi BlackBerry 10

I want to get the WiFi ipv4 address in blackberry and write these codes that are referenced in others as below, it worked in my Dev Alpha C but I have no other devices to test.

However, it doesn't seem to work in the Z10 or Q10.

Is the interface of network, also called "bcm0" in the Z10 or Q10?

Is someone knows it this problem?

Thank you.

foreach (const QNetworkInterface &interface, QNetworkInterface::allInterfaces()){

qDebug() << "humanReadableName: " << interface.humanReadableName();
//if(QString::compare(interface.humanReadableName(), "en0") == 0){
if(QString::compare(interface.humanReadableName(), "bcm0") == 0){

wifiIP = entry.ip().toString();

return true;
}
else
qDebug() << "IPv6: " << entry.ip().toString();
}
}
}
return false;

Oddly enough, I wrote this yesterday for an extension WebWorks

Here's the skeleton code

netstatus_interface_details_t *details;

if(BPS_SUCCESS == netstatus_get_interface_details(NULL, &details)) {
netstatus_ip_status_t nstatus = netstatus_interface_get_ip_status(details);
netstatus_interface_type_t ntype = netstatus_interface_get_type(details);
bool nisconnected = netstatus_interface_is_connected(details);
bool nisup = netstatus_interface_is_up(details);
const char* nname = netstatus_interface_get_name(details);

int nipcnt = netstatus_interface_get_num_ip_addresses(details);

for(int i=0; i

I wrote cela for retooling as an extension that it collects all data simply and then throw it all away (I just saw in the debugger)

Specifically, you need store IP addresses nipaddr gets in the loop, if nothing else

A few above who are important pieces of info

nisup - if the network device is active

nisconnected - is it connected to a network

nType - if you get a result WIFI (search netstatus_interface_type_t in dox for any possible return) you WiFi

nStatus - connection info (look to the top of netstatus_ip_status_t for more details)

There are three possible results

The first runs aground (no network at all)

The network ntype is not WIFI (also bad)

The INVESTIGATION period gets collected and you can use it

Note that you will have at least two survey periods while yu needs to work which is ipv4 and ipv6

Personally I'll just regex them

^(?:(?:25[0-5]|2[0-4][0-9]|[01]?[0-9][0-9]?)\.){3}(?:25[0-5]|2[0-4][0-9]|[01]?[0-9][0-9]?)$

The above is easy to do in JavaScript and identifies an ip4

Oh - ipv6 that comes up is the linux full log xxxx:xxxx:xxxx:xxxx % dev

You can do a sanity check on the ssid but I ain't got that far yet (I don't need it)

• Unable to receive calls from Apple Watch, using WIFI AT & T calls, when the iPhone is turned on, turned off or in Airplane Mode.

I work on this issue and wanted to involve the community.

I have tests the functionality Apple Watch and have been unable to solve my problems with WIFI call. I use the AT & T and I am connect to the strip of the 5 GHz on my router Xfinity.

I am able to make/receive calls from my iPad and Mac laptop when iPhone is off / Mode plane; However, this feature does not work on the watch. I can make and receive calls from the watch when the phone is turned on.

Another problem is that I am not able to send and receive messages (blue or green bubble) of the watch - once again when the phone is turned off or in flight Mode

I'll copy in 2 portions of the Web site: http://help.apple.com/watch/

http://help.Apple.com/watch/#/apd0443fb403

If your Apple Watch is in range of a Wi - Fi network that the iPhone is connected to before, you can always do the following (even if the iPhone is off):

• Send and receive digital messages Touch
• Send and receive messages using Messages
• Make and receive phone calls (if you have active calls, Wi - Fi, and you are within range of a Wi - Fi connected to your iPhone before)
• Check current weather conditions
• Track your inventory

Make calls via Wi - Fi

If your cellular operator offers Wi - Fi calls, you can use Apple Watch to make and receive calls over Wi - Fi instead of cellular network - even when your pair iPhone isn't with you or is disabled. Apple Watch comes to be in range of a Wi - Fi network that is connected to your iPhone in the past.

To see if your carrier offers Wi - Fi calls, see the article Apple Support phone with Wi-Fi calls, then enable the calls on your iPhone and Apple Watch Wi - Fi.

Note: You can make emergency calls via Wi - Fi, but when possible, use rather iPhone over a cellular connection - your location information will be more specific.

Enable on iPhone Wi - Fi calls. On iPhone, go to settings > phone and turn on Wi - Fi calling and application to other devices.

Enable calls on Apple Watch Wi - Fi. Open the Apple Watch app on iPhone, tap My Watch, tap phone, then turn on Wi - Fi calls. If you do not see the parameter, make sure that you have activated calls on iPhone Wi - Fi.

Answer please if you are able to perform any of these functions! And any troubleshooting you can think!

Hello

These features are not available because Apple Watch cannot connect to a network of GHz Wi - Fi 5.

If your watch is not connected to your iPhone via Bluetooth, but lying in a 2.4 GHz Wi - Fi network your iPhone plugged in before, the watch can connect to this network and you can continue to use certain features, including Wi - Fi calls (when it is supported by your operator, you already have in place).

• Classic classic speaker Blackberry blackBerry stopped working suddenly

Hi, I use Classic BB bought two months ago. everything works fine until I had the problem with the speakers. Here's what happened.

1. I use headset and listen to the music during my last vol. removed the plug headphones while music that I have to get off the flight.

2 home, dropped the phone in my office. It is the Prosecutor's office. but no damage or scratches on the phone.

3. went to blutooth working, used to transfer music between computer and classic BB

4. try to play and cannot hear any sound, but if I play audio in combined mode, i can hear music from front speaker top which is usually used to hear incoming phone calls - located beside the front camera on the section of the front upper.

After playing for two days, finally decided to wipe the device but no luck.

No alarm goes off, no sound incoming phone call, no sound during playback of videos. However my headphone works very well.

I read a lot of articles do not know what the problem is.

Any help would be great.

Thank you.

Sdgardne, finally managed to solve the problem. Apparently something to do with BBM calls voice and hands free kit. In fact, I used headphones Bose which is not standard BB. That's how it was resolved.

After having had a problem, removed from the device and tested without luck, after a while, I received a call from my BBM contacts BBM voice telephony and surprisingly phone began to ring normally. From here all of the phone calls of income using the regular cellular network starts ringing normally, other applications like WhatsApp... etc working / rings as usual.

Strange, but that is very well that I'm glad at the end.

Thank you.

• Classic hot BlackBerry support

Hey,.

My classic BlackBerry is an e-mail during the day and a warm table overnight.

I noticed recently that my phone will become quite hot during charging. I'm not new to the phones being slightly hot during charging, but it is produce a little heat.

I've had my phone for about three months and he was pampered.

This behavior is normal for the classic, or should I see a 'doctor '?

These devices get hot at times, much more that I remember from the old days model. I credit it to the most powerful processors and higher constraints on more powerful processor, sometimes compared to the capabilities and assignments with devices earlier. In short, the processor can do a lot of work and absorb a lot of heat, when demand is high. In your case, it's probably nothing to worry about. If you start to see physical or behavioral problems evident with the device, or it is too hot to hold, or hot all the time, then worry not. If it cools later and you do not see something wrong, you're ok.

• 10.2.1.537 Z10 post upgrade Blackberry Z10 OS blackBerry-phone call does not

Dear team,

I have updated to OS 10.2.1.537 today morning post updated and I'm not able to make phone calls. On the choice of the network, I am able to select the required network (Airtel India) but not able to make phone calls. Neither the data service works. SMS message also works using the telephone network, but not the call. Tried restarting, remove the SIM and the battery without any improvement.

When you try to call I always get the message "the cell phone line is not available. Choose a different phone line and try your call again.

concerning

Surya Roy

Hello and welcome to the community!

10.2.1.537 is, in relative terms, a very old operating system level... you really need to use something more current, especially given your model Z10. I recommend that you force a reload of BONE via the more energetic method... ADF:

Remember that you you get the AutoLoader for 10.2.1.3247 because it contains some very important fixes for the Z10 specifically.

Good luck and let us know!

• Classic classic speaker Blackberry blackBerry malfunctioning

When I call someone and use the speakerphone option, I can hear the person I call through the speakerphone feature, however, that Canon person can hear me. (The mute button is not clicked - click on the button mute, none of the parties can be heard.) I am hearing impaired and require the speakerphone feature to work without always holding the phone. This setting is required so that the person I'm calling can hear me when I use the non-interventionist speaker function.

The fix? Replaced BlackBerry phone...
