Cleaning my computer laptop everything

If I want to remove everything off my laptop or most of the stuff and just start the day, I bought it with Microsoft stuff on it, but nothing else... I can do this? Is this possible? System Restore will only return 2 weeks? Can I restore the system from like 6 months ago?

System Restore will not take this back to what you want it to be.
And it has kept only so many Restore Points can be, depending on the amount of space is allocated for it.

If you want it to be how it was when you bought it, you do a restore to the factory settings. :

How to get Vista recovery Media or the Vista recovery Partition on your computer back to factory settings.

There is no Vista free download legal available.

Contact your computer manufacturer and ask them to send a recovery disk/s Vista set.

Normally, they do this for a cost of $ small.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
In addition, ask them if you have a recovery Partition on your computer/laptop to restore it to factory settings.
See if a manual provided with the computer or go to the manufacturer's website, email or you can call for information on how to make a recovery.
Normally, you have to press F10 or F11 at startup to start the recovery process...
Another way I've seen on some models is press F8 and go to a list of startup options, and launch a recovery of standards of plant with it, by selecting the repair option.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

You can also make recovery disk/s for the recovery Partition in case of a system Crash or hard drive failure.

They will tell you how to do this.

Every computer manufacturer has their way of doing recovery disk/s.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Or borrow a good Microsoft Vista DVD (not Dell, HP, etc).
A good Vista DVD contains all versions of Vista.
The product key determines which version of Vista is installed.
There are 2 disks of Vista: one for 32-bit operating system, and one for 64-bit operating system.
If install a cleaning is required with a good DVD of Vista (not HP, Dell recovery disks):
Go to your Bios/Setup, or the Boot Menu at startup and change the Boot order to make the DVD/CD drive 1st in the boot order, then reboot with the disk in the drive.
At the startup/power on you should see at the bottom of the screen either F2 or DELETE, go to Setup/Bios or F12 for the Boot Menu
  • Computer laptop everything suddenly does not "see" my wireless router, use to work properly
    I have a HP laptop and it has implemented a wireless network a wireless d-Link N router.  Everything worked well for about 3 months.  Now, he can not connect.  Running the troubleshooting application to choose a connection - all my neighbors show up, but not that of my house.  The router is also new (he and laptop were Christmas gifts).   It used to work fine with Windows 7 one and now nothing...  I can't it appears in the list of wireless connections.
    My laptop 5 years running XP is in line with this router and it works fine - so I don't think that it is the router that is the problem.
    Thank you!
    Hello Bchek,
    Thank you for your message.  Check with your D-Link documentation and settings to make sure that the SSID broadcast has not been disabled.  This would prevent you from being able to see the wireless network.  Please let us know if it did or did not help to solve your problem.
    Reformatting a hard drive should be considered a last resort to solve a problem with a computer system. The hard drive can be reformatted and reinstalled the operating system, using the system PC Suite hard disk recovery. Reformatting the hard drive will overwrite all data on the disk. To preserve the data, back up the data of the user as; letters, leaves of calculation, graphics and emails to an external storage device before you reformat the disk.     Do the following to reformat the hard drive and reinstall the operating system.
    1. Connect the PC to the power adapter.
    2. Close all programs.
    3. Click Start , click principally made programs , select System Restore and click on the PC recovery .
    8. Restart the PC when prompted.
    As alternative method for the steps above, click Advanced Options , select the destructive recovery option and click Next to begin the reformatting process.
    The PC is in original factory State and all data in the system, such as the place and the date must be reconfigured.
    NOTE: any software "trial offer" has been included in the original factory image, it will be reinstalled, but it won't work (the test period will have expired).  If so any trial software is a security antivirus software or others, before connect you to the Internet, you must uninstall (using an uninstall tool provided by the manufacturer if available antivirus software) and then install your own anti-virus software.  So, you should download the uninstallers necessary and installers (or buy the software on CD) using another machine before starting this project.
    Try this - Panel - Device Manager - CD/DVD - double click on the device - driver tab.
    Click on update drivers (this will probably do nothing) - RIGHT click ON the drive - uninstall.
    Another possibility is that the cables are loose. Remove ALL power, then make sure that the cables in both
    contacts data with a pencil eraser.
    Some DVD players do not use the Windows default drivers so check with the manufacturer of system and
    manufacturer of device to see if there is a firmware or drivers for your drive if necessary.
    ===============================
    Step 2: You have disc problems as the CD/DVD is actually 4 discs in 1 case (CD & DVD
    do it right.
    Did you follow the Troubleshooting Guide for the reader who still does not work? There are
    the entries in registry that the troubleshooter does not solve and those who "might" be the cause.
    Check with your Maker system and a device for the two possible firmware updates and the
    Here are the keys that I of course are those in question - for the subkeys of the CD/DVD drive
    the parameters.
  • Re-install Windows 8 single language on MSI computer laptop SSD (added)
    I have laptop MSI (MSI GE60-20E). It has a single language of Windows 8.
    I bought an SSD and installed.
    I tried to re install the single language of Windows 8 for the SSD. (I downloaded a copy of Windows 8 single language)
    Can someone give me instructions on how to do it? I have all my important files on a drive external backup so all left to the laptop is good to go.
    Thank you in advance.
    Hey Rolando,
    Thank you for the update.
    From Windows 8, new machines were incorporated in the BIOS and both product keys you re - install Windows, it should automatically detect the product key integrated.
    • When you say "fresh install", do you mean to say clean install?
    That you have downloaded a copy of Windows 8 single language, you can start the computer with the installation media you have created, and continue with the installation.
    Important: Please back up the data before performing the installation. New installation (clean install) will erase everything (even for applications that may have installed) computer and only Windows will be installed.
    Hello
    You can do a search on Google and find a software like TuneUp utilities to clean up your laptop. It will remove old unnecessary folder and files, files duplicated, so you can gain free space. Try to uninstall several programs to get more space. Moreover, how much space is provided for local c (where is your operating system installed). You can also resize the partition, but if you have an image of hard drive recovery, it is not recommended. You can't use it.
