• Z930 protected - will not disable the Touchpad

  Hello world

  Thanks in advance for your help. I have a laptop Toshiba protégé Z930.
  The button above the Tablet (built in mouse on the laptop) which usually disables the touchpad no longer works.

  This is why I can not disable the touchpad. Also function F9 or turn off the touchpad.
  This makes me think that it's a software problem. I updated the driver, and nothing has changed.

  For example: what Windows system do you use?
  Other FN keys work correctly?
  This driver updated you exactly?

  Have you tried to reinstall the Package added on the value of the Toshiba (for Win 7)?

• VB6 program install on Win7, but some forms will not display

  Customer wants to distribute through the .msi package:

  With the help of an .msi package built with Visual Studio 6 Installer on Windows XP.  Install on Windows XP and each form works correctly.

  Using the same name of the package .msi on Win7 and some forms are not displayed, no error is generated, the screen does not display.  I checked that all the controls are distributed and installed on the target computer.  I think it may be related to registration of MSADO15.dll or MSCOMCTL.ocx because the only thing that forms that do not have in common is that they use all ADO recordsets.

• PDF form will not work in preview

  I just created a PDF form and it works in Acrobat and overview. First, however, I am unable to clear form. Is this a known issue with preview and should I worry about putting it on our Web site for use by the public?

  Preview has very limited support for PDF form and corrupts actually they (and other PDF files) in a number of ways when he saves them. This corruption is irreversible. I suggest you inform your users that they should not use Preview and use instead Adobe Reader/Acrobat or some other PDF viewers with of enough support for your form.

• HP L7780 completely enclosed, will not respond to buttons or power down

  Have a brand new HP L7780 who has for some reason any locked up.  He is unresponsive to other buttons.  Only way to turn off is to unplug it from the wall.  Power on, fails to go through the series of tests, as it should.

  Impossible to update firmware and can not access the menu.  Not a single button responds.  Machine does not respond when you open the lid of the scanner.

  The only answer is a motor noise when opening the door of ink cartridge, but no reaction when you remove or insert the ink cart.  LCD display features of a clock dead at 00:00 and date is Jan 00, 00.  Cannot change the clock settings.

  Try this:

  1. unplug the power cable from your wireless router (im just assuming you have one, cos that's what causes this problem).
  2. unplug the power cable from the printer, then plug it in again. Now, the printer should start up and it must not freeze.
  3 turn off the radio wireless to the printer by pressing Menu Configuration > network > wireless > Off.
  4. turn on the wireless router.

  If you plan to use the printer with the USB cable, then everything just keep installing the software and connecting the USB cable when asked to. But if you plan to use wireless, then there is a workaround solution.

  1. with wireless radio off printers, plug an ethernet to your router and the printer cable.
  2. in a few seconds, he should get his IP address. You can see on the printer using Setup > Netowrk > view network settings > display wired summary.
  3. Once this is done, go back to the network menu > Advanced Setup > parameters IP and change IP address of "Automatic" to "manual". Confirm the IP address, subnet mask and the default gateway.

  This message is new.  I've never had this problem before on my system.  3 days ago, I created a PDF using LiveCycle Designer ES2 to my office - exactly as I have done for the past 2 years - and now I get this message when I try to open the PDF file on my system at home.  I was always able to work with these files until today.  Yesterday, I installed Office 365 and now apparently I XI player on my system.  Now all I've been able to open in the past will not allow data record.  What is the problem?

  It is difficult to say for sure without looking at the file, but the fact that it is to show that the signature is not allowed is a good indication that the document is not compatible drive.

  Have you checked to make sure that do not disturb is not activated in the settings? The volume is mounted? If you checked every setting and switch, try a forced reboot. No data will be affected.

  To force the reboot your device, press and hold the two buttons of sleep/wake and home for at least ten seconds, until you see the Apple logo.

• Online PDF form will not save edited info

  I created a number of pdf forms active, editable in Adobe Acrobat, DC format for readers to edit users. Then, I loaded the on my Wordpress site for visitors to use. Visitors can change the form and print it out and then right to the browser. However they cannot save the form that they have edited (it will don't save a blank form). They are able to download the blank form, and then edit and save. However, I can't seem to make it work save the form that they have edited while it is in the browser. Help would be much appreciated!

  Here's a simple Anatomy how it works:

  You have an HTML form that collects user input and you assign a "name" to each of the input fields - fname lname, email, phone, etc...

  And you set up the form for 'post' that data to a code of "php".

  So when your PHP code is running, he's trying to 'get' data that submits the HTML form - and it gets these data in input names / ID that has your form HTML:

  You define a variable for each of the question for example: $name picks up 'name' data in your HTML form and so on.

  Then you say your PHP script to use the mail() function to send data to a predefined address.

  That's the key. There are a lot more, you can do with your PHP code - for example, the format of the data in a 'table' and then email it to you. Or, once the form is sent, send an email to you and the person who used your contact form.

  On a sidenote, there is a nice PHP class, that you can use to manage e-mail. It supports SMTP authentication as well (if your server does not support or disable the php mail function). You can get it here: http://sourceforge.net/projects/phpmailer/

  Hi guys, I followed this tutorial to create a form: http://www.peachpit.com/articles/article.aspx?p=1332862 but when it comes to getting the content form sent by e-mail, the tute said to insert just a URL. And even if the tute is supposed to show the example code for the author, it is not for me.

  So I choose my "submit button", click on Tag Editor/entry/events and pasted the text in the onClick event, and downloaded the form of.

  Unfortunately, nothing happens when I click 'submit' and server hosts are not useful, because they say that it is a coding problem, although they wrote code!

  I am creating a page of user preferences based on a table that contains a record by the user, with the primary key = user_id.

• PDF form will not calculate the selected fields as soon as there is a numeric value entered.

  All selected fields and as soon as there is a digital value entered, the total field displays nothing, not even a 0. It worked yesterday so I'm not sure what the question is today. I hesitate to do it again because this form has a ton of fields.

  Things to check:

  -That there is no error message in the JS Console

  -The field calculation order is correct (IE, that there is no 'delay' in the order in which the fields are correct results)
