Close 'OUTLOOK. Setup EXE error.

Check through your task manager (Ctrl - Alt - Del-> Task Manager) to see if it is running something you know on the subject.

    We will need details of the program you are trying to uninstall as said by Stefan to help you with the problem.

    Come to the error, here are two ways to fix.

    Method 1:

    Reinstall the program from the installation source, and then Uninstall it. This helped to eliminate many applications successfully.

    Method 2:

    Manually remove the program from the registry.

    Important This section, method, or task contains steps that tell you how to modify the registry. However, serious problems can occur if you modify the registry incorrectly. Therefore, make sure that you proceed with caution. For added protection, back up the registry before you edit it. Then you can restore the registry if a problem occurs.   • Acrobat Pro XI installation keeps asking for me to close Outlook.exe

    I tried several times to install Acrobat Pro XI on CC.  I keep getting this error message when it is at 43% installation:

    Try once more to install Acrobat, once this message appears. Try launching Task Manager go to the process tab, and then search for Outlook and there is a button on the lower left corner on the tab process called Show this process also click that while searching the outlook process.

    You can try the following steps and check.

     

    Method 1:

    Check if there is a cscui.dll C:\Windows\SysWOW64 folder.

    The cscui.dll does not exist by default in the C:\Windows\SysWOW64 folder.

    If you find the cscui.dll on the C:\Windows\SysWOW64 you can try right click and rename the cscui.dll to cscui.old.

    Method 2:

    You can run scanning of the file system [SFC] checker on the computer that will replace missing or corrupt files & check if the problem persists.

    I suggest you to do a scan of the SFC. File system (CFS) Auditor verifies that all Windows 7 system files are where they should be as they are by default and not corrupted, changed or damaged.

    a. Click Start, click principally made programs, accessories, right-click on command prompt and select run as administrator.

    b. click on continue or provide administrator credentials if prompted.

    c. in the type in the following command prompt window and press ENTER:

    d. sfc/scannow

    e. you should see the following message on the screen:

    § Begin the analysis of the system. This process will take time.

    § Beginning verification phase of system scan.

    f. % verification complete.

    g. once the scan is complete, a test to see if the problem you are experiencing is resolved or not.
