I can't install the update of Bios AMD processor?

Hello

Try the following.

If you are still running the update through HPSA, you should see an option to cancel/Stop - select this option.

Close HPSA, restart the computer, and then download the update of the Bios from the link below and save it in your downloads folder.

Once the download is complete, close other open windows and programs, then open your download folder and double-click the installer to start the process.  The real flash will occur when you restart the machine - do not interrupt it somehow, even if nothing seems to be happening for a while - when it is finished, the machine will load in Windows as usual.

    Try the following.

    If the update of the bios still work in HPSA, click the Stop button.

    I was prompted to download HP Notebook System BIOS update (AMD processors. ) The "Setup" screen confirms that it is to install the update of 8,89 MB but does not end. I tried three times wait more than an hour each time with success.  Would appreciate your advice on how to solve the problem.

    I was able to get this problem solved by Mike via online do chat on case no 3027047713 (disconnect WiFi problem). Using remote on my laptop, it was able to download the proper drivers. So far, everything seems to work ok.

    Go to the page European driver Toshiba and download the BIOS package manually.
    Unzip the BIOS and try to run the exe file once more

    But why you need BIOS update? Have you noticed a few problems with the laptop?
    BIOS update is not required if you don t have problems.

    1. If machine BIOS update after downloading, it will automatically start the system and show you the whole process and progress.

    2 just by downloading the BIOS update does not update. However no Expert here don't advise update BIOS to do as a routine, including through HPSA.

    If an UPDATE of the BIOS damage your laptop computer, you will not be able to turn on the machine - in short - it'll be no more than an expensive paper weight.

    3 If the BIOS has been updated successfully, then you go and not be able to on & do your work in portable as usual.

  • Problem BIOS update on my laptop HP G50 FS046UA with Windows Vista 32 bit home base. .

    I got the download from the HP download site, I downloaded the update and received message (IHISI: the support mode fail in SMI!) I click OK got another message (BIOS did not support InsydeFlash) and stop to download.

    Hello:

    There is no graphics card AMD switchable for my model, even with a BIOS update.  That is right.

    Or is it still be grayed out as in the current state.  That is right. An update of the BIOS will do nothing to allow you to change the graphic memory settings.  Everything will be grayed out as before.

    So if I overload a game settings, from the middle to the extreme, this means that most of the 3 GB memory graphics will be allocated to catch the game? Or even will not use the 737 MB dedicated?   The laptop will initially use all the dedicated memory.  If that wasn't enough, he will then consume the maximum (2.4 GB) memory system available and put it to the chart.

    Update the BIOS - how to

    Visit the website of your computer manufacturer (Dell, HP, Gateway, etc) and select your computer model (this is usually done in the Support section). You should be able to download the BIOS for your model. If there is a newer version available download the BIOS and follow the instructions to update the BIOS of your computer - all computers are different so I can't give you exact directions. Update of the BIOS can be risky - follow the instructions carefully and don't unplug or turn off your computer.

    Do not download a BIOS update of Web sites at random.

After trying to use HP OMEN control to fix the keyboard, I found the keyboard flashes when I click "Apply to all Zones", but then immediately turns off again. Is it possible to fix this keyboard backlit ir question can we see an update in the near future that resolves this problem?

    Found a solution! Apparently, the keyboard stops after the update of the BIOS, so to reactivate just push F5.
