CM2320nf - scanning ADF returns false pdf size / no idea how to solve

Using the ADF to analyze the results of conventional A4 documents in format pdf is more than length of letter. Each page must be cut for A4 individually, not allowing any customization HP scanning program. It is very annoying and is already a topic on various forums.

However, I understand that HP did nothing to solve this problem. Someone has developed a work around until the developers of HP wake up from their sleep?

Finally, I found a solution that could help others, too. If you go to "Programs, HP, 2320MFP, Scan" you will wonder what you want to do.

Choose 'New custom task' instead of pre-installed tasks and start. When you get to the point 'Output Format', do NOT choose the format A4 pre-installed, but go in the personalized section and enter the A4 - measures it (210 / 297 mm). Click 'Send to the printer as new task' and finishing.

When you call the task on the machine, everything will be output can be in A4 format.

A strange behavior of the program, but it works.

    Hi Jessica,.

    This problem may occur because of default program settings, I suggest you to check default program settings.

    Refer to the steps in the following Microsoft article to check default program settings.

  • LaserJet M1212nf ADF does not pick it up when scanning of the Acrobat PDF document

    I recently bought this multifunction machine.  The software installed without any problems.  When you copy, the documents are taken from the ADF correctly, but if I use Adobe Acrobat to scan from the computer in PDF format, it does not appear to recognize the ADF and the scans from the glass.  I have not tried scanning directly from the computer in PDF format.  I could not find anything in the user manual or the HP support that relates to this.  If anyone had the problem and knows how to solve this problem, I would really appreciate it.  Thank you!

    Hi Cathy-IT,

    You should be able to go to the HP scanning application settings to change the DPI setting. It seems that there is a problem with this version of Adobe Acrobat (see link below). You have an older version of Adobe Acrobat, you can test with?

  • Standardize the page to merged PDF sizes?

    Hello world

    I'm trying to fuse together a PowerPoint 07 ' and an Excel ' 07, both set to provisions of page A4 landscape, in Acrobat 9 Standard.  However, in the final merged PDF, the old Excel pages are huge compared to the PowerPoint presentation - about 6 times greater.

    Any ideas how I can force Adobe PDF merged into the same page size and orientation of output?

    Thanks in advance,

    Simon

    I had this same problem. I sent someone a document 8 pages to which they signed 2 and scanned and delivered. When I tried to replace these 2 pages in my original CD (giving me a document completed and signed) the pages that I have inserted were lower than those of the original.

    Follow THESE STEPS: the mouse on the left side of the bottom of the page in Adobe Acrobat format. You can see which pages are FALSE. In my case, it was the originals that were too big. I then printed them via the Adobe PDF printer. Select "fit to printable area" (check these dimensions which will be 8.5 x 11) when the document was printed in this way, it was easy to adapt to these other pages as they were now all the same size. Not to play with the zoom which is a nightmare.

  • Why my dial of the watch is amplified? I can't return to normal size without turning off power.

    Why is my dial sport 38mm enlarged? I can't return to normal size without turning off power. How prevent and repair without turning extinguished/turned on?

    Hello

    Zoom (an accessibility function) has been activated on your watch.

    • To turn off the Zoom:
      • On your iPhone, in the application of the watch, go to: My Watch (tab) > general > accessibility > Zoom - put it off.
      • Or on your watch, go to: homescreen (via a simple press on the digital Crown) > (cog icon) settings > general > accessibility > Zoom - tap and enable / disable.
    • If the accessibility shortcut has been enabled and configured for the Zoom, you can also enable and disable functionality more conveniently:
      • On your watch: quickly press the digital Crown (the round button) three times.
    • To set up accessibility shortcuts:
      • On your iPhone, in the application of the watch, go to: Watch My > general > accessibility > accessibility shortcut (bottom) > select / deselect Zoom.

    Hi AMARsharma,

    I can't wait to hear that you have questions.  From the information provided, apparently, that adobe may be updated.  You are able to view other types of file to scan?  Please see the information that can solve the problem below.  If you would like more information about your product, click here.

    1. check and update Adobe reader and flash player

    A. click here to access the Adobe website to check and update to versions current (quick glance on the right side, downloads for flash and reader).  Note: this is a 3rd party site.  HP and I are not responsible for the content or use of this site.

    I hope this helps!

  • Medium need to return false if a value has not yet been written.

    I am a new user of labVIEW here looking for a way to return false if the value has not yet been written.

    I am using the "select" tool to swap between values early enough in my simulation. However, it requires data that has not happened yet, so I need something that is waiting for the value to write.

    Is it possible to use a while loop to wait until TRUE or FALSE (instead of NULL) has been written and then change the frequency?

    All instances of data in LabVIEW (controls, terminals, constants, shift registers etc.) have a value, there is no concept of NULL.

    A Boolean control, before write you, will be its default value (probably false). A string will be empty (but not NULL, it is always valid). A digital will be zero, a reference is not valid (possibly equivalent to NULL, but this terminology is not used.)

    Can you describe your needs more detail, I don't understand what you need to do.

    If you want to wait for a change in value (Boolean to change true), then survey (read several times) from the Terminal command in a while loop with it connected directly to the terminal of condiitional. Its default value of False will cause the while loop loop continuously until the value is set to True. I would advise to insert a short wait inside the loop so that it hoggig a CPU.

  • CVI2010-operator sizeof returns an incorrect size of a struct

    Hello

    in CVI2010 the sizeof operator returns an incorrect struct size if it contains 4 bytes and other spaces. I guess that the addresses in the struct are also not as c-programmer thinks. First a minimalist code example:

    typedef struct
    {
    oneByte tank;
    long fourByte;
    } TestStruct;

    main void)
    {
    int size;
    TestStruct tmpVar;
    size = sizeof (TestStruct);
    Here are the dimensions = 8 instead of 5

    }

    Over the past years and last cvi-versions I had never compiled with the compiler Borland, which returns the correct size. Because the Borland compiler is not included in CVI 2010, I am using the compiler to build-in the standard. In my opinion, the compiler looks to optimize the code somehow, my project cannot work with.

    Because I read the direct struct of binary files I'm looking for a to code based, solution.

    Is it possible to disable the relevant optimization?

    Thanks for your help and your response.

    Markus

    The compiler may have different alignments for the fields of the struct: a usual behavior is to them be aligned on a 4 byte boundary, that is each field starts on a multiple of 4 bytes from the beginning of the structure in memory. This seems to be the behavior of the compiler that you are using currently, who returns as the size of the structure 8 after aligning the fields.

    Alignment of the structure can be modified with a #pragma appropriate preprocessor directive: adding #pragma pack (1); in your code tells the compiler to pack the structure without filler fields; After that this statement sizeof returns the size 5-bytes are waiting for you.

    ofn.lpstrFilter = (LPCWSTR) pMultiString.get (); _TEXT ("text Files\0*.txt\0All fichiers\0 * \0\0"); // ;

    If (!.) GetOpenFileNameW(&ofn))
    return;

    It does not open the dialog box, and it is that getopenfilenamew returns false.
