  OK, here goes... my understanding is that you remove the update of microsoft KB2533623

  To remove this update of Windows KB2533623, follow the steps below:

  1. Click on "start > Control Panel > programs and features.
  2. Click on the link "View installed updates" on the left side of the window.
  3. Locate the update ' update for Windows Vista for x 64-based systems (KB2533623).
  4. Select the KB2533623 update and then click on the "Uninstall" button
  5. Once the update has been removed, restart the computer.

  I can't open a file of XML in Excel 2007 results - even if I added the stylesheet for trusted locations and deleted all the protections.

  Here's what happens:

  1. open the XML results file how I am propmpted for select the report.xsl stylesheet TestStand

  

  2. then gives error: Scripts in this XML document and/or references to other documents are disabled.

  

  3. by clicking OK gives more specific information - namely the security settings don't allow execution of code within this stylesheet script:

  

  But I did the following:

  -The path to the sheethas style was added to the "trusted locations".

  -ActiveX settings are completely enabled for all controls without restrictions

  -Macros settings are enabled for all macros

  -Is trust access to the VBA project object model

  -All data connections are allowed

  How can I activate the execution of script code in the style sheet for the file XML can load?

  Directly from the Article in the Microsoft Knowledge base, please note that do the following changes "may make your computer or your network more vulnerable to attack by malicious software such as viruses." It's always a good idea to make a backup of your registry before editing. This can be done by clicking on file' export.

  In any case, as the article explains, open the registry and navigate to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\12.0\Security. The security file must contain a registry key called XSLSecurityLevel. Mine did not have this registry key and I had to create it (see screenshot below). Double-click the XSLSecurityLevel registry key, type 1 in the data value, and then click OK.

  You should now be able to view the XML from Excel 2007 report. To reset this setting, simply double-click the registry XSLSecurityLevel key, enter 0 in the given value, and then click OK.

• TestStand code in xml report review

  I want that my reports TestStand to contain the information on which version of the sequence of generated file the report. For now, I created a FileGlobals.CodeVersion string variable, and I add to the header of the report in the ModifyReportHeader callback. It's far from ideal, because it relies on the developer to manually change the value in the file in sequence for each deployment. In the future, I think I'll have it pull the revision of a text file that is managed by Subversion, but right now, the code base is saved with the zip instead of a RCS files.

  I have two related questions:

  1. is there anything that is integrated to TestStand, which can be put in a XML results file, that allows to discern if the two files of results were created by the same version of the sequence? Maybe some indicator that is incremented each time the sequence is changed, or a checksum?

  2. someone else has a better method than what I described above for the tracking of revisions of the code in the results of TestStand?

  After reviewing the beta portal provider, I saw 1732 downloads today for the promotion with only 100 unique codes. I moved this promotion instantly back to the project, but I wonder how this could happen.

  When I paste this cryptic times Google promotion code I see 7 pages in Asia (mainly in vietnam and China) where it was published.

  After running chkdsk /f and restart, go to event viewer > Windows Logs > Application.

  Search for 'Wininit', near the top of the list, double click on it to read the report.

  I inserted a report trigger in a data model and created the desired in my database function. Everything works as expected.
  
  My question is, is it possible to write trigger report within the data model? Given the choice, I'd rather have the trigger code integrated within the data model itself rather than in a separate package.
  
  I have found no examples of this, but I just wanted to confirm that it is impossible.

  In addition, you have more control over DAQmx code vs express screws if you need configure the parameters that were not in the express VI, as export a trigger causes another trigger, you might add the code to do.

  Finally, the express VI contains probably more functions you really need.  A lot of unnecessary code.  With DAQmx, you put only what you use.  No unnecessary functions wasting time.
