  Atul, I thank you for your response. I had read a lot of comments referred to as before posting my query. Not too encouraging - used LR 2/3/4 with operating system previous Windows without problem. Will sit on the fence a little longer on this one.

  Make sure the jpg has embedded sRGB profile.

  In what application you view jpg files?

  The symptoms you describe are typical of images with Adobe RGB or ProPhoto read in an application that does not support color management.

  If you are certain that you have the correct number of series, there are really not much that we can help you here. You can try to download and install the latest version of Lightroom 2. This will be the trial version, but when the trial screen there is an option to indicate that you have a serial number. Either way, Lightroom serial numbers start with the four first digits being 1160.

  The adjustments that you made to a RAW, JPG, TIF, or any other type of file cannot be lost in LR. LR stores the changes that you make to a file in the LR catalog file or the file image itself, in a special place in the area of metadata or a XMP file according to the type of file it is.

  Also there is no setting in LR that would eliminate, Reset, the adjustments you have made to any file once you send that image to ch for further editing.

  If you return to the original file you envoye sent in PS, then go into the module development, you will see the changes you have made are still active. It's less that you replaced the original image when you saved in p. If that's what you do, overwriting the original image so stop doing that.

  I had a meeting this morning with a Canon IR-converted-rented 6 d, using a white balance custom from a photo.  The Preview on the correction of exposure and in the thumbnails of my Mac Finder display exactly how I want them: a dreamlike green-brown.  However, when I import the RAW files in Lightroom (or Photoshop), the program automatically sets on an effect terrible peachy that kills all the subtlety.  I'm going to click on a thumbnail to appear normal, and it will raise the color appropriate for a moment as says "Loading" popup... ", then my beautiful image is replaced by a peachy monstrosity.

  

  

  I struggled with the sliders of Lightroom for hours, but I can't return the colors the way I shot them.  I tried upgrading to the latest versions of CC and no dice.  The colors look when I open JPG files that comes with it, but I'd rather be able to do my changes with the flexibility of RAW format.  And heck, I just want to understand the problem, to avoid similar problems in the future!

  This happens because the white balance slider is blends with 2000K. Of trouble with Lightroom and camera raw is it not to deal with what they think are non-physical white balance settings and simply attach them to the limits of the range that it considers reasonable. This is what causes your shift and cannot be corrected in Lightroom or camera raw. Never understood why these limits are there also that it affects not only infrared cameras modified but also under water and even photos taken in strange conditions as snow storms 9Voir example this 8 years ago! Jao photo blog: the Extreme white balance). The only solution I know is to create a custom profile that gives you a little extra range. You can do this by using the editor dng profile editor. There are many on the web a quick google search away. I hope this helps.

• How to export a file with a CMYK color profile in Lightroom?

  I try to save a picture with a CMYK color profile to send to a company that will print for me. I looked at the color profiles installed on my computer, and a certain CMYK profiles seem to be there (in/Library/Application Support / Adobe / Color / Profiles / recommended). I don't know if they should be expressly in the folder "Profiles", or if it is important that they are in a subfolder of that folder. This is on a Mac, by the way.

  The problem is, when I go to export in Lightroom, and I chose 'Other' in the color profile, I gives me any options of CMYK.

  Sorry... you can't. LR does not CMYK, RGB only... you will need to Photoshop or some other app.

  Welcome to the Forums of HP Support! I read your post and see that you are not able to scan to network folder. I would like to help you today.   I have provided a document to configure the scan to network folder. Follow the steps, there is a section to create the folder and set up the sharing and security:Scan of the control panel (including Scan to Email, in PDF format, and to a network folder) for HP LaserJet Pro 200 Color MFP M276n and M276nw.

  This post is @wardell1, it can also help with this error message: try to configure the scan to network folder, name of user and password is incorrect. Do not take into account the model.

  I have also provided a @ShlomiLstation, on the same issue: scan to network folder fails.

  Try these documents to see if they help, and if there is anything else I can do, let me know. Thank you.

  Only, we installed our printer HP Color Laserjet Pro MFP M476dw yesterday and I noticed once it is published a PCL XL Error report instead of what I was printing.  I don't think that anything from him, but today, it happens almost all the time.  I tried to find possible solutions and stumbled upon everyone says to disable AVG...  We do not use AVG, we use MSE.  Is it a driver problem or else?  Any help would be appreciated.  Nothing more annoying than to try to use a new printer and it is not working properly.

  Dear all,

  I had my Canon Pixma iP 3000 for a long, long time and its been an excellent job so far. Now all of a sudden there color printing problems correctly. Everything seems sepia or orange-ish or red - ish...

  I made possible all cleaning routines and even changed all color cartridges, but nothing has changed. The nozzle check black and CMY looks fine except that the on the left side, where it should print 2 gray rectangles and black with the letters "6 c", "6 c", "6 M", "6 M" and '6Y' in-between, the letters and the rectangles are clear and dark sepia Brown instead of gray and black. The other long, horizontal colored bars have good color and look good, however.

  Any ideas?

  Hello KurtSeiter.

  Please check that the correct ink tanks are installed.  It may be possible that a tank "Photo Cyan" or "Photo Magenta" is installed in the slots Cyan or Magenta.  Installation of a reservoir of 'Photo' in the iP3000 can cause a change in the color output.
