Color variation of Windows 7 on two screens despite the correspondence of the monitors, model, connection & settings

I'm managing about 20 machines to windows 7 64 bit, but have noticed that, in each of them with two screens, there is a slight color variation (right monitor being darker and more colorful) between the two monitors despite the monitors of the same brand and model (workstation make & models vary).

As a test I switched monitors and the problem remains.
I also tested the type of connection cable / in case the fault is due to the difference between VGA/DVI but the prob persists indicating is not the screen, indicating that it is to the BONE (the denominator) as graphics cards vary also in the brand/model.
would be very happy for any help you can offer
Thank you

Open Control Panel and double-click on display - which will open the Windows XP display menu.

Display Menus differ, then the next steps depend on the type of video card.  Therefore, you may have to adapt the following instructions.  However, a good place showing would be click on settings, then advanced.

The display Menu will probably be a tab marked adapter.  If Yes, click the map tab and see if it allows you to display a list of the different modes of your video card supports.  Try the different modes.  (If you have a standard 4:3 ratio monitor, try the modes 4:3 ratio.  If you have a widescreen 16:9, try ratio 16:9 modes).

If this does not help, see the control panel offers an additional icon for your video driver.  For example, Control Panel on my laptop includes a labeled icon driver Intel GMA for Mobile.  Double click on this icon you propose other format settings, include "keep proportion", "full screen (no border). and "Desktop".  Your boys may have changed one of these parameters.

If all else fails, you can try a restore of the system at a time when your computer was working OK.  (Start |) Run | C:\Windows\system32\restore\rstrui.exe)

    Thanks for the follow-up.

Missing in this equation are the Premiere Elements version you were using and the operating system on which it is running. But...

The Act is accomplished. But... Up to now, and after that you went ahead and moved to version 12, we now learn what Premiere Elements version you were using. We don't yet know the operating system involved.

You said first Elements 10. First 10 Elements is affected by a problem serious display known if the computer uses an NVIDIA GeForce video/graphics card card. In this issue, the only cure is to roll back the version of the driver about may 2013. The description of the problem and how to make the rear roller are described in one of the messages at the top of this forum. What video/graphics card your computer use?

On another front, Adobe will release a new version of Premiere Elements any day now. Not one, but Adobe knows the function defined for the new version. This type of information is announced at the time of the release of the new version.

So the solution to the problem you presented in this thread could have been...

1 roll back the version of the NVIDIA GeForce driver for all may 2013 if possible (Windows 8 or 8.1 64 bit, maybe not possible)

    2. move to a different version of Premiere Elements (which you did)

I offer the foregoing for consideration so that you can review your decisions. We are pleased to learn that the first items 12/12.1 works for you.

Please do not hesitate to ask questions and seek clarification, but do not forget that the answers are in the details.

    Best wishes

  • Using Windows 7 my two computers in the House can't find one on my network.

None of my two computers (stand alone & laptop) can not find each other even if they are connected to the same router. Tried the road home computer group failed also.  The error message on the network is 'cannot find another computer or device' helped, because I need the possibility to print from my laptop. The printer is connected to the stand alone. I did not have this problem when the laptop is running vista.

  • windows program will rearange themselves when the monitors are in mode 'sleep' - how to stop windows switching screens

IV has 3 screens on a map via display port adapter and a 4th on a second card in order to have a 1 on top of three parameters.

the computer itself does not sleep because I have servers running but I put screens on standby after 10 minutes.

for a long time, all screens would go to sleep and wake up without any problems... in the course of the last months, 2 questions.

    1. once the monitors to sleep and no consistent time 1 monitor wakes up enough to show the backlight, but no display... wake up ok and sometimes screens dislocated.

    and

2 when the monitors have the power save / standby mode, some of the Windows I had open will have been moved to different monitor as monitors have been disconnected or "detected" numbers have changed and I saw the change number several times as well, but not always.

I say some because I have 4 windows open on my left most monitor and 2 of them end up on my right monitor after the glitch.

Sometimes things on my low Center {main} will end up on the top of the single monitor page.

no rhyme or reason... a few days no problem at all don't wake up and everything is where it should be and all the screens have slept through the night

    Hi exultantvictor,

You can download the application from the link below.

I bought a U430 ideapad 3 days ago. Configure the laptop without problem. At ran Windows Update and updates 8.1 with 40 + updates. Everything was fine - until I turned off and restarted later.

Cancel does nothing and the screen please wait will never - locking effectively the machine.
The screen can not be resized, or closed, and the office is visible at the top and bottom, but cannot be selected.

  • Vertical line on the screen of the monitor

I'm baaaack.  I swear to God, I don't do all of these problems - it just seems like it.  There is a line thin verticle yellow on my monitor that comes and goes.  I have a Dell Dimension 9150, 32 bit, running XP Home Edition with Service Pack 3.  (See? "I know in advance what you will ask.)   I recently did all the maintenance thingies I can think: Defrag, CNettoyez (including Reg Clean), analysis complete the system with Avast, and complete analysis of the system with Malwarebytes, start saving mode did not help, not more than coming back to a date prior to the restoration of the system. Thinking that it might be a hardware problem, I used the air compressed on the video card, and made sure all hardware connections were tight. What is expected - the holy water?  I think I might need a new video card. Waddaya think that?

    Daniel Shouse

Hi, Daniel. Please check spam folder of your email to my email with a link to the image I downloaded by your request.

I got your e-mail indicating that this problem had disappeared. Has he reappeared? Assuming that there, either in the above scenarios could cause the problem. It could also be the graphics driver. We will have to roll back to an earlier version.

I had an experience myself with the latest version of my graphics driver the other day. I ignored my own advice and updated the driver in order to improve my Windows experience index. Not only the assessment isn't complete but, during the assessment, and after my screen would go black and I would get a popup stating the drive had stopped working. I reinstalled the earlier version and things are back to normal.

You know how to contact me if you need me to look at.

  • How can I erase the drive hard when I can't read the screen of the monitor?

I need to wipe the hard drive and reinstall windows xp but I can not "cmd" promp because I can't read the monitor

What do you mean that you can not read the monitor? Is the black screen or it seems weird when you start the operating system? And why do you need command prompt to reinstall an operating system?

You need not be inside an operating system to reinstall.

    1. Insert the installation disc and turn on your computer
2 watch it down or up for orders of F access the BIOS (usually F2) or the Startup Manager (usually F12)
3 power on the system again, then press the button once Startup Manager as a couple at the time wherever you turn on the computer.
    4. Select the CD/DVD drive as the boot device
    5. a screen will come in saying to press a key to boot from CD (so press a key) and the installation will begin.

If you don't have a Boot Manager, then you must start in the BIOS or Setup and move the CD/DVD drive up to make the first boot device.
