Commit button to the text tool

Many sites using PS, like this oneand this one, see the "Confirmation button" Type tool, but I can't. Where is he?

I want the tool that turns this:

before.jpg

in this:

after.jpg

Thank you!

Once you get the moving dotted line, you have already committed the text.
Try again a bit more slowly:

1 horizontal text tool

2. tap on the screen

3. review your Options bar (top panel), where you can select the font, size, etc. On the right is Cancel and Commit.

4. There are at least three ways to commit text.

a. the validation button

b. press the numeric keypad

c. quick replacement of tools

5. Once you post the text, the button disappears. Because you make a selection, you can fill the selection, but you cannot change the text because you did the pixels on which layer you happen to be on. Pay attention to your layers if you choose to work this way. The mobile dotted lines in your screen shot means that you have already committed the text, so that the button is gone.

  • The mouse cursor changes to hand instead of the text tool when I hover over the text.

Normally whenever I have fly over the text in an e-mail or on the web, in order to highlight to copy and paste, the mouse cursor becomes a text tool.  However, now every time I have fly over the text, it remains on the hand tool.  Whenever I click on the mouse button, there just cause the hand to shake.  I can then move the page and everything I want to get off.  The only problem is, I want to highlight the text with the text tool, not handle the page with the hand.  My question is how to change the mouse cursor to get the text tool when it flies over text?

  • Text box disappears when you use the text tool

I downloaded a model for a leaflet to 3 parts and I create a text box, as soon as I take my finger off the mouse button, the text box disappears.  If I type, the text appears, but it has a colorful background.  If I switch to the selection tool, the text box is once more visible, but as soon as I hit the text tool, the box again is no longer visible.

I guess it may be a setting somewhere in the model (this doesn't happen to me when I'm working on one of my own files) but I can't find the setting that controls this.  Any ideas?

    Thank you

What color is the highlight? Rose, a font missing, green means custom tracking/kerning. These ar the two that you're more likely to see applied to an entire line. Yellow is substituted glyphs (typically ligatures, but it could be all cpas or samll so caps) and colors for the kepps violations there, but I don't know them off the top of my head. All these can be turned on or off in the Composition section of the preferences.

  • Disabling a text created through the TEXT TOOL input?

    Hello

I created a text entry box. I have not used the text flash elements. I used the TEXT TOOL. In the properties I put it to "input" type so that I could enter the data. All the features works very well except one. I have to turn off the text box when the user clicks a button. I force the assistance of using flash.

The main objective is that the text entry box should not take the user input when the button is enabled, once the button is disabled, the cursor should be in the place where the user left and he can enter through.

Is this possible? I realized this feature using the Flash textarea component, but not by using the input box of text created using the TEXT TOOL.

    Can someone help me.

On a Mac, while the cursor is in a text box, you will need to hit: Shift + Option + command + SPACEBAR.

Is this a new problem with an old facility?

Or a new facility and the Type of tool has never worked?

What is the size of the image in pixels and resolution?  Something that sometimes happens is that people get the wrong units and I think they are pixel setting when it is in fact centimeters.  If you have a low resolution game, like the default 72 dpi, which can cause the tiny text, it might as well be invisible.  This is particularly problematic when the Type is set on Points.  To test simply do a new document with reasonable proportions.  that is 1000 x 1000 pixels, 300 dpi

Another test is to select the text layer and use free transform, or zoom so you can see if you have a small bounding box.

If this isn't the question and the text color is not the same as the background, then...

First step is to reset the preferences.  (The relocation does not overwrite the preferences file).

    Also try resetting subject tools.

Then uninstall Photoshop and use the cleaning tool before reinstalling.

Reset the text tool to see if that solves it. In older versions of the program, look for a small arrow at the top left, on the tool options bar. Click on & reset. On the newer versions, look for a box with lines inside on the right on the options bar. Click on & reset.

If that fixed it, reset the default preferences. In more recent versions, go to Edition > Preferences > General and looking for this:

  • element of Photoshop crashes when the text tool

A week ago my Photoshop Elements began to break up when I select the text tool.

Files that I've created in the past which contain text layers now open with a message "a problem reading layer 'text' [all the text was on the record] because of a program error." The existing pixel data will be there will substitute. Continue? »

When I press 'Continue' and either select the text to try to change, or try and add text, it blocks the program which stops immediately, creating an accident report. I copied the accident report, but it's super long, so I don't know if it makes sense to paste it here.

The same thing happens when I create new files and you want to add a text layer - it hangs and stops when I select the text tool. She makes my Photoshop Elements basically useless.

I don't understand why this is happening - I did not download new fonts or anything like that and I don't do anything different than usual when you work on files. I run Photoshop elements 11 on Mac OS X 10.10.1

    Suggestions appreciated!

Sometimes problems PSE to make it out no reason apparent and which are not fixed by the reset tool. In this case, it might be that the preferences file is corrupted.

To restore this file in PES 11 and later versions: Edit > preferences > general and click on "Preferences of Reset on the next launch.

OK, Bob. This give a try.

First, open a new file and make sure the background is white, not on Transparent that I suspect you have currently defined.

Then, type your copy. Your layers panel will then look like the top of this picture...:

and when you drag the text on the image layer, it will look like the lower part of the sample above.

You can then position the text layer with the tool move
