OK, I wanted to just make sure the correct standard troubleshooting had been done. Because it does not sound like a system problem (this is why a system restore has been previously recommended), I recommend that you try a tool launched by Microsoft called Fixit. • How can I reset Windows Media Player to use songs on my external backup drive instead or in addition to the songs on my desktop with Windows Vista Edition basic hard drive family?

How can I reset the Player Windows Media in Windows Vista Home Basic to use the songs on my external backup drive instead of (or in addition to) the songs on my desktop hard drive?  Currently, the Media Player library indicates that the hard drive (C:\) is my only option of disks to use for sources of songs.

Basically, I want to have Media Player external drive for all the songs from research and build his library on this disc instead of on the C:\ drive.
My problem is that the songs are hogging too much space on my hard drive, so I want to move to my external drive to backup instead, but Media Player will not access it.  I saw an option in Media Player to add a song to a different drive to the library whenever I play a song of this player, but that would require me to play all the songs moved one at a time, which is not practical, and which would not solve my problem because Media Player could still be maintaining the library on my HDD to say.
    Any ideas?
    Thank you.

  • How you copy mp3 files from the my music for a cd drive folder and keep the files in mp3 format, format it with windows 8

in the past with previous versions of windows, you can easily copy MP3s to a cd and keep the files in format mp3, format thus creating an mp3 disc, you made by selecting the songs you want to copy on disk, you must select the songs of the my folder music and make a click right then on the song selected or songs , you would then select send, and then select the drive that contains the blank cd in it to send the songs to, you choose then to a standard audio CD or data cd, you must select the option data cd and the drive will keep the songs in mp3 format, it was all done using windows Explorer. I would like to do the same thing to do these discs mp3 on my computer windows 8, however I can not understand how do, can help a whole me with that?

  • I have the answer now multiplayer for COD 4: Modern Warfare and Star Wars Battlefront II will not download with Windows 7 or Vista

The problem is the realtek HD Audio software must be uninstalled completely or you can go to this link download www.realtek.com choose computer device ICs > PC Audio Codecs select High Definition Audio Codecs and then choose from the list of patches that corresponds to your system that the site offers for me it is Vista, only (ZIP file) Driver driver Windows7 (32/64 bit). It will replace this realtek HD software pre-installation unless you are about to uninstall the program itself.  Once I did, I could download and play all my games, I could not do before. You cannot reinstall realtek HD even after you download your games only because it Win 7 and Vista to stop the game automatically due to the compatibility problem, which is a real shame because it makes the sound, sound system good enough on your PC. Microsoft must intensify this problem and know why there is a question like that.

  • Problems with Windows 7 reinstallation on the new hard drive

I bought a computer a few years provided with Windows Vista. I then almost immediately installed Windows 7 on it as an upgrade. Recently, the hard drive failed and I bought a new one. I then installed the version of Windows 7. However, I have when I entered the product key, he told me that the key was invalid. What should I do now?

If your computer comes with a qualifying previous license such as Windows Vista or Windows XP and the certificate of authenticity is still attached to the machine in good condition, then the COST is reason enough to represent the compliance to the software license agreement. No previous required software installation, which means you can do a clean install with Windows 7 Upgrade disk.

How to do a clean install with upgrade disc:

Boot from the Windows 7 DVD

    Click Install now

    Accept the license agreement

When the option is displayed to select a type of installation, click (Custom advanced)

    Click on drive Options

Select the disc/s click on Delete

    Click new

    Click on apply

    Click OK

Click Format, and then click next to proceed with the installation

Skip entering your product key Windows 7 and complete the installation.

When you reach the desktop, click Start, right-click on computer

    Click on properties

Scroll down to the Windows Activation

Click the link x days before activation.

Click on the link that says: "show me other ways to activate.

    Enter the product key

    Click next

Select the Activation of the phone

Click Next when you enter your key page

    Select your country

Click Next, call the number listed

Be sure to explain your situation to the Appeals Officer.

Provide the installation generated when ID requested by the call agent

They give a confirmation ID in return, enter it

Click next to complete the activation.

However, the requirements for the media upgrade is that you have an operating system already eligible such as Windows XP or Vista installed to use it. Since the Windows 7 end user license agreement.

15 UPDATES. To use upgrade software, you must first be licensed for the software that is eligible for the upgrade. After the upgrade, this agreement takes the place of the agreement for the software that you upgraded. After upgrade, you can no longer use the software that you upgraded.

So, if you are always denied, you will just have to reinstall Windows XP or Vista and let it do the verification of eligibility.

    --------------

How to activate Windows 7 manually (activate by phone)

    1) click Start and in the search for box type: slui.exe 4

    (2) press the ENTER"" key.

    (3) select your "country" in the list.

    (4) choose the option "activate phone".

    (5) stay on the phone (do not select/press all options) and wait for a person to help you with the activation.

  • How can I create system recovery disc for a new laptop with windows 7 Home Premium?

I just bought my daughter a new Toshiba Satellite with Windows 7 Home Premium laptop last night. The laptop came with a Windows restore disk. How to create a set of boot from the DVD then when the system fails, or I need a new facility? I created a system repair disc and two-disc Image recovery. Is this enough to fully restore Windows 7 to the initial state of machines? (Technology at best buy assured me that it was nothing that I was able to do and that they would do for me for $70.00.)

In short: my Dell came with a system recovery disk which was very convenient. I would like to reproduce this convenience with Windows 7. Any help appreciated.

    Jim

You will need to follow the manufacturers directions to create the recovery media. Looks like you've done that, but Toshiba could only say with certainty. I recommend that you contact their customer service.

You say that you have started from the XP CD, but something is wrong with that
you do. Just boot from the CD and follow the prompts for a
clean install. A new installation by formatting the
drive and does not care what version of Windows is installed (or
even if any version of Windows is installed.
