  First thing, it's the red bar does not require that you must "make" the timeline to implement green. All this means is that he will TRY to play the images in real time, but may not be able to. If the reading is 'ok' then don't worry in this regard.

  The weak link in your system is the Quadro 1800, get rid of it! You're losing out on mercury GPU hardware acceleration in CS6, which makes a HUGE difference in performance edition. The 1800 lacks of enough RAM to be used. Get a video card based on the Nvidia GeForce with a minimum of 1 GB of RAM, as a GTX 660, 760, 960, 970, etc., and you will see a big improvement.

  But don't bother restore the timeline, which is usually the loss of time. When you do the final export, the source will be returned in the output format, no need for pre-rendering.

  Tried to copy a too large video from my camera.  Message says 'current picture cannot be copied' when I looked up the answers in 'help' it says connect the camera using the (MSC) usb mass storage class, and then use windows Explorer to copy the image to computer.  Please help me understand this.  I have to download or update a driver to do this?  Should I buy something?  Please don't laugh, but I'm lost.  All those who take the time to give me some step by step instructions would be greatly appreciated.

  Transfer of files from digital camera fails

  Symptom 3:

  When you try to transfer a single large file from a USB PTP camera to local hard disk drive (HDD) using the scanner and Camera Wizard, the file transfer does not immediately, and you receive the following error message:

  You can connect the camera using USB Mass Storage Class (MSC) instead of PTP. Then, transfer large files using Windows Explorer.

  When you connect your camera, it can map device memory as a player external and it give a letter under 'Computer' OR it can be configured to do this in the configuration menu of the camera.  Once you have a drive letter assigned under 'Computer' for the camera, locate the drive in question for the file you want and copy to your computer to office/etc in the same way you would any other file.

  Well, I had these large files video 1080 p which are long hours. It's a movie and I would like to set up a movie review. However, my Adobe Premiere can't manage playback of these files. Is - it here the preview files come into play? or something else?

  I was wondering if I can edit in may 720 p or 480 p and it will then return to using the original files and the 1080 p. Is this possible? I was reading a person on a similar process, some video editors might make.

  For those which falls on this thread from a Google search or the search for the forum. The technique that I was looking for is called Proxy editing.

  On a side note, the guy from John T Smith was no help at all and was just spam messages and don't listen to do at all.

  End with a little research and a few changes, I found what I need. Editing of the proxy is very useful because the video content is constantly changing and it keeps costs down. Hope this helps someone out there in the future.

  IM on PC Adobe first Pro CC 2015 and have a question I was not able to find a solution to (or find someone with a similar question, even though I know there must be a common problem).

  I have several clips from 3 to 5 hours (10-20 GB each), I need to recover one or two clips of 5 minutes, and then to use in a project PP.

  How can I draw or import only the blocks of 5 minutes of video of these great clips, without having to import or to comply with the full clip of 5 hours?

  Another way to state this question (with examples of time code):

  That is to say, I have a 5hourVideo.avi of 14 GB I need to extract only 3 h 42 m 3 h 38 m and use this clip in my project PP.  Currently, I have to import (or drag in my bin of media / media browser) all 5 hours, 14 GB of video, then slice my clip.  When I do this PP starts in accordance with the full video of 14 GB (as it should), is their a way to import only the 3 h 42 m 3 h 38 m so the entire file is not consistent?  (I do this same function to several clips video .avi to 5 hours).

  Use Adobe prelude. See the function partial ingest . It is necessary to transcode these files, however. I suggest a mezzanine or 'intermediary' DNxHD or Cineform codec, since you are on a PC.

  I have a 52 minute video I need to divide into 3 separate files until I can modify it (so I can download it on youtube as 3 separate episodes). I know how to separate the layers and make all make the base edition etcetera, but I'm stumped on how to turn those divide the layers into separate files.

  If you split just a video using Premiere Pro or The Adobe Media Encoder directly. You will save a lot of time. In the SOUL, you can set a duration for the three segments. In Premiere Pro just create three sequences and add them to the render tail. It's really basic things. You should study upward.

• Why do not show my video files on laptop?

  Hi, I got a 64 GB sdxc card to use my JVC Everio HD camcorder. I formatted the card in the camera and took a few hours images and pictures.

  Now, I tried to transfer the files to my HP laptop which uses Windows 10 with the intention to change the images on Power Director 14. However, when I put the card in the laptop it shows only a few pictures in folders. I can't find video footage on the map. I also tried to connect the camera to the laptop and transfer, but with the same result. When I handed the sdxc in the camera I can read images so I know the files are there.

  What Miss me? How can I get the videos on the laptop?

  What is the format of the map? Is this by chance FAT32? The reason why I ask is that FAT32 has maximum size limits, and larger video files quickly exceed this limit. Many SD cards use default FAT32 (though that aparently SanDisk now uses ExFAT, what surprises me.) If this is the case, the formatting of the card in ExFAT should solve the problem. If your device is relatively modern, it should support ExFAT.

  Make it much smaller (resolution), choose the lower settings for video and audio. XGA will never give such a low file size, sorry.

  UUnless the media comes from a camera or from the Archives of the camera, you must import the entire file.

  I would use a NLE like final cut PRO, QUickTime Player, or MPEG Streamclip to rotate the clips.

  I try to use the WMP OCX 7 under windows ce 6.0 R3. My application written in c# and works fine, the only problem is the time it takes to start plaing a video file. I noticed that the more the file is large the longer it takes to start. With the debugger, I tried to step of the procedure of game, and the statement that takes all the time is the parameter of the URL property of the OCX.
  Have you ever seen something similar? Can you help me solve the problem? I have not found information about this behavior in on line documentation.
