  With a standard business dekstop, you're a little linimted in the improvement of memory. You are right. 2 x 2 GB modules will work, but a 4 GB is very likely to start.

  As seen on this webpage to Crucial2 x 2 GB is recommended upgrade.

  Today, I had this same problem with a d220 MT (in fact, I found this entry when you seek a solution ), and the fix was so simple it was embarrassing. The driver download sp25326.exe install just the installer. After you run it, you must go to c:\swsetup\sp25326 and run setup.exe. After that, your card should work. at least it worked for me.

  You must open the tower and reinstall the RAM chips, there is no adjustment.  If it happens again, your ram may be defective.

  One possible option is to try the following.

  Click the Start Menu, click your username at the top right.

  Make a right click on the folder was originally included in the document, and then select Properties.  Click on the "Previous Versions" tab and give it time to load (this can take a few minutes).  If you get a list of the previous versions, left-click one of the mentions just to highlight and open - if you see your listed file, copy it to somewhere safe.  If no file is listed, try to open another entrance.

  It seems that your chipset only supports 4 GB of RAM.  There is not any type of software or BIOS updates that would increase this limit.

  I have a computer format microtour dx6100.

  I've upgraded to windows 7 64 bit and everything works fine except that I have problems with the display.

  The VGA output will not go in widecreen? I can't find a driver for this problem.

  I also tried to install an Ati x300se video card pci-e 128 MB that I thought it was compatible but it seems other people have got it to work in vista compatibility mode but I have no luck with it it keeps crashing when trying to install.

  Does anyone have any suggestions of what I can try?

  Here is the HP Compaq Business Desktop ROMPaq Firmware (ROM family CPT006) aka BIOS downloads for HP/Compaq 500 b/510 MT Professional computer. These BIOS/firmware updates do not appear to address any memory related questions. HP/Compaq 5xxB MT maintenance & Service Guide;

  Memory:
  The computer comes with synchronous dynamic RAM 3 double rate
  (DDR3-SDRAM) dual inline memory modules (DIMMS).
  DIMM DDR3-SDRAM:
  Media memory on the system card can be filled with up to two industry standards
