Computer sees no floppy and CD Rom/DVD player after change of motherboard of PC w / Windows XP SP3

After changing the motherboard on my PC, a Dell Optiplex gx270s Windows XP SP3, the computer (which also works fine) does not see the CD/DVD or floppy drives CD, DVD or floppy is inserted. (He sees not thumb drives). When I look under the hardware in the system, the floppy drive and the Cd-Rom are marked as +. All appropriate updates had been installed. These discs worked fine before the motherboard was changed. (It was done because the capacitors were bulging.)

What could be the problem and how to fix it?

Please explain simply, that I'm not a computer expert.

Thank you in advance.

Does anyone know how to unlock region on a CD-ROM DVD player codes?  I have this stupid Windows 8 and so far I only have PowerDVD. But I also have windows media player.  I am trying to get Windows Media Player to access the DVD that I used for Windows 7, but whenever I stick one in this computer stupid, by default it starts to Power DVD.

According to the power dvd faq: "the limit is in accordance with the requirements specified by the major movie studios. PowerDVD allows you to change the codes of the region up to 5 times (also depending on your DVD player) and then automatically record fifth region code setting. Subsequently, you can only play DVD titles in the fifth code region or non - CSS all regions DVD titles. Area code will remain locked even if you reinstall PowerDVD. »

  • Do all my purchased apps and transactions, transfer again ID after changing Apple ID?

    Hello

I use my custom as my apple ID email address, but this year I decided to change my domain and ID.

    I've seen this before: https://support.apple.com/en-us/ht202667

    My question is:

Do all my purchased apps and transactions, transfer again ID after changing Apple ID?

    Concerning

Change the primary e-mail address on an account should not lose any content of the accounts - after changing your id: what to do when you have changed your Apple ID email address or password - Apple support (or disconnection across before changing preference and return with the updated later version)

But if you are referring specifically to be able to redownload apps etc, they (and albums of music, etc.) could be removed from the Bank by the holder of the rights at any time, so you should not rely on the possibility of any element of the store to download again.

  • I have a computer running VISTA. The CD-ROM/DVD-rom does not work and can not read the CD of the program that I placed in it.

It won't read a DVD.  It will not read ANY CD or DVD.  I tried 12 different CD/DVD.  This isn't an upgrade to Vista; the computer came "made for Vista" with Vista installed on it.  I had added Nero.  I removed Nero.  I did all the updates. I have not released the driver and reinstalled.  He claims to have the latest driver software, but it won't work.  The computer can see the CD/DVD, but he calls it a 'CDROM '.  It is not the case.  It is a DVD/Cd-RW with Labelflash.

I did everything suggested that past discussions.  I ran FIXIT program that claims that the drive works properly.  It is not the case.

I tried to get various programs to recognize.  They cannot see the installed media.

    I uninstalled iTunes.

Please do not give me the answer of cut-and - paste stock; It does not work.

Please tell me what to do to make Vista see the media inserted in the CD/DVD-RW drive.

    Thank you.

Here's the answer, just in case there is something you don't have, and I start up and down.

    Try this - Panel - Device Manager - CD/DVD - double-click on the device - driver tab - click
Update the drivers (this will probably do nothing) - then RIGHT click the drive - UNINSTALL - REBOOT
This will refresh the default driver stack. Even if the reader does not appear to continue below.

Then, work your way through these - don't forget the drive might be bad, could be a loose cable
or slight corrosion on the contacts (usually for a laptop) and other issues.

Its a Matshita dvd ram uj 850 s. sometimes, he disappears on the no hand, unexpected. • Reference Dell 8900 and my old DVD player

My new 8900 XPS desktop computer has a location of additional optical drive. I wonder if there is a way to install one of my old DVD readers in this niche? The DVD Player connects with an IDE cable and it doesn't seem to be a location for the Board of Directors?
