Computer starts: problems

I recently had a lot of trouble to make my computer with Vista at startup, it would work sometimes, other times re-launch at startup. I thought that this could be a windows problem, so I tried to re - install windows when I finally got to do the start, he did the process from the beginning until he wanted to re-start, he would have still not finished, so I opened my computer, grabbed with the RAM and BOOM, it worked fine, installation was always pointing however. I was given an option every time when I turned it to either go into Configuration or vista. I turned and walked away earlier and he went to the installation, when I came back he expanded windows for installation files, I said to myself, there is no reason to spend with it when my computer is running, so I cancelled it and now it won't start windows or let me install windows.

Hello

Follow these steps and check if your computer starts very well.

Step 1:

Remove all external devices and check if that helps.

Restart your computer and press f8 and see it it gives revert the installation program.

Step 3:
If it does not have a configuration of the previous version, you may need to perform a custom installation.

My iDevice doesn't connect to iTunes, I think its a result of the apple mobile device service. The restart option doesn't come up, it just says  "start the service" and when I click that an error comes up which says "The Apple Mobile Device Service service on Local Computer started and then stopped. Some services stop automatically if not in use by other services or programs". (I've already got a post with this information on I just wanted to make it more clear)

If your iOS device does not appear in iTunes, try the following:

    1. Open Control Panel > Device Manager
    2. Plug in your device
    3. Locate Bus USB Controllers > Apple Mobile Device USB Driver.
It is also possible that the device may appear under imaging devices, portable devices or other devices or as a device USB of MTB.

    7. Click on let me pick from a list of drivers for devices on my computer

Start the computer in safe mode and check if the problem persists.

Safe mode starts Windows with a limited set of files and drivers. Startup programs do not work in safe mode, and only the basic drivers needed to start Windows are installed.

  • Computer starts in the middle of the night

After running four different games, I minimize all and put the computer to sleep or Hibernate. Sometimes in the middle of the night the computer starts and displays a screen of Google. The problem is, he loses all the games. It is said that they are not protected and I have for them all over again.
My question is, how to protect them from losing. And why the computer starts in sleep or Hibernate?

    Hi HD RIDER 1,

    Welcome to Microsoft Answers Forum.

Since when are you facing this problem?

    What are the recent changes?

Do save you the game before you put the computer to sleep or into hibernation Mode?

Are you using a mouse and keyboard wireless?

Have you encountered this problem before?

If you had not encountered this problem before you can go ahead and perform a restore of the system on your computer.

Try to restore the operating system to an earlier point in time when it worked great for the steps below:

Click Start, type system restore in the search box, and then click System Restore in the list programs. If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type your password or click on continue.

In the System Restore dialog box, click on choose another restore point and then click Next.

In the list of restore points, click a restore point created before you started having the problem, and then click Next.

    Click Finish.

  • Console the two options at the start - problem with Restart of recovery and XP Professional

I have the recovery console option at startup instead of wndows XP Professional. Currently, I put my computer starts automatically in Windows XP Professional after ten seconds have passed.

It works normally except when my computer wants to stop and restart because a new program has been installed or changes have been made to the configuration of the software installed on my computer. In this case, my computer hangs just when it is trying to restart after it has been switched off.

So my question is, has he entries I can make to the registry to force Windows XP start automatically in XP Professional after he stops for a reboot?

Thank you for your help in this matter. I appreciate that very much.

Can someone help me I am not very computer... my computer started sending multiple copies of any email sent again and again... like 26 copies for 1 person, please please someone can help me
You did not mention the e-mail program you use. If it's Outlook Express, you have corruption of dbx files.

Spend most of your messages out of the Inbox and then create new folders to send and sent items box after having moved the messages you want to save to a local folder that you create.

Tools | Options | Maintenance | Store folder will reveal the location of your Outlook Express files. Note the location and navigate on it in Explorer Windows or, copy and paste in start | Run.

In Windows XP, Win2K & Win2K3 the OE user files (DBX and WAB) are by default marked as hidden. To view these files in Windows Explorer, you must enable Show hidden files and folders under start | Control Panel | Folder Options icon | Opinion, or in Windows Explorer. Tools | Folder options | View.

With OE closed, find the DBX files for the items in the Outbox and sent and delete them.  New ones will be created automatically when you open OE.

After you're done, followed by compacting your folders manually while working * off * and do it often.

Click Outlook Express at the top of the the folder tree so no folders are open. Then: File | Work offline (or double-click on work online in the status bar). File | Folder | Compact all folders. Don't touch anything until the compacting is completed.

    General precautions for Outlook Express:

Do not archive mail in the receipt or sent items box. Create your own user-defined folders and move messages you want to put in them. Empty the deleted items folder daily. Although the dbx files have a theoretical capacity of 2 GB, I recommend all a 300 MB max for less risk of corruption.

Disable analysis in your e-mail anti-virus program. It is a redundant layer of protection that devours the CPUs, slows down sending and receiving and causes a multitude of problems such as time-outs, account setting changes and has even been responsible for the loss of messages. Your up-to-date A / V program will continue to protect you sufficiently. For more information, see:

Why you don't need your anti-virus to scan your email

Note that for some AV programs, it may be necessary to uninstall the program and reinstall in custom Mode and uncheck analysis when the option is the result of e-mail messages.

    Compact often as specified above.

    And backup often.

I had starting problems, boot loop, I think it seems to have been resolved by using the last known good configuration, but I get this popup dialog box. I've not closed for fear that it will start XP looping again.

    Hi EddieBryan,

    1. did you of recent changes on the computer?

    2. do you have security software installed on the computer?

    3. when exactly you receive the error message?

    Method 1
Check if the problem persists in safe mode and after return with the result.
A description of the options to start in Windows XP Mode
    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/315222

    Method 2
If the problem does not persist in safe mode, then it is possible that some third-party programs installed on the computer is causing the problem.
I suggest that you configure the computer in a clean boot state and check if it helps.
To help resolve the error and other messages, you can start Windows XP by using a minimal set of drivers and startup programs. This type of boot is known as a "clean boot". A clean boot helps eliminate software conflicts.
See section to learn more about how to clean boot.
How to configure Windows XP to start in a "clean boot" State
    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/310353

Reset the computer to start as usual
When you are finished troubleshooting, follow these steps to reset the computer to start as usual:
    1. click on Start , then click run.
    2. type msconfig , then click OK.
The System Configuration Utility dialog box appears.
    3. click on the general tab, click Normal Startup - load all services and device drivers and then click OK.
    4. When prompted, click on restart to restart the computer.

    Method 3

If the previous step fails then I suggest that scan you SFC on the computer that will search the corrupted system files and try to correct them.

The analysis may take some time, so be patient. Windows allows to fix corrupt or missing files it finds. If the information of the installation CD is required to fix the problem, you may be asked to insert your Windows XP installation CD.
