Why does the login screen Windows continue reappear on my monitor?
I use Windows 7 Pro. Until a few months ago, I couldn't leave my desktop PC on overnight. As soon as I sat down and moved the mouse or tap a key on the keyboard, my screen saver would disappear and I could go right to work. It was great! Several months ago, a problem started that I describe.
Now, when I walk away from my PC for a few hours and return, I see the Windows login screen. It is not all the time, but it produces most of the time. My first step in tackling the problem was to check the settings of the screen Setter. The bomber of the screen ("ribbons") is supposed to go after 12 minutes of inactivity.
There is a box to the right of this setting that says 'On Resume, display the login screen'. This box is averified.
Then I adjusted to High Performance power settings. PC display is Never set for when to turn off the screen and also never to when putting the computer to sleep. I then changed the advanced power settings to try to remedy the problem. I made sure the following settings are the following:
High Performance requires no password on wake up.
Turn off the hard drive at the end of 800 minutes
The sleep settings:
Sleep after = never
Allow hybrid sleep = Off
Hibernate after = never
Enable timers wake = Disable
Turn off the display = never
Power button: Sleep button Action = Nothing
For security reasons, I usually use my PC as a standard user. But the login screen Windows guard reappear after I leave my PC for a while if I run as a limited user or administrator of the master.
Can you give me some additional ideas on what I can do to remove the login screen Windows reappear after I leave my PC?

There are a lot of options built into Windows to help you out of this situation:- Restart the computer with your Windows repair CD, then use system restore to set Windows in a few days (only works if you have recently changed the password).
- Log on to your account admin to spare, and then reset the password for your existing account (works only if you set up an alternative admin account).
- Log in as administrator mode without failure, then reset the password for your existing account (the password is usually empty).
- Insert your flash drive USB with the password key file (only works if you have taken the time to create such a key file).
- Use the password indicator (works only if you have created a hint and if it's good enough to allow you to guess the password)
- Check your paper files (only works if you threw down the password somewhere.)
If none of these methods work then you will need to perform a destructive factory restore. Since you have not used the machine in six months, it is unlikely to be a big disadvantage. When you have finished, remember to take at least one of the many precautions above. -

I get a blank screen after login. She wanted to do something. Can you help?
Hello
Thanks for posting in the HP Support forum.
This issue would have occurred because of many things including the recent software updates, virus/malware, corrupted user account profile. To remedy, try this:
1 Please, shut down the computer using the power button
2. turn on.
2.1 as soon as you press the power button, keep hitting the Esc key (such as tap-tap-tap).
This should open a HP Boot Menu that can resemble the following
3. choose F11 on the keyboard to open the system recovery options.
The computer should boot from the recovery partition various options you of recovery. Note that the F11 option will work only if the recovery partition is there (not deleted) and intact. From there on, you have prenty of options to choose from.
Please, perform reset of Windows with the possibility to keep your files and save the settings.
This will be "Refresh" your windows but will keep your files and some stuff in places

Is it possible to lock the files against concurrent access on Windows Server?
Basically, I'm looking for a way to reproduce the functionality of Microsoft Office for concurrency (notification that another user is currently using the file and the ability to open a read only copy) for another type of file. Is there a setting in Windows Server or perhaps a 3rd party tool that would allow me to do this? To be honest, I'd be happy if a notification would pop up when you try to open a file being used by someone else.

Login for Windows vista Business
Windows vista Professional only accepts login password if I switch user then on the account after locking or user, the message I get is that the password is wrong, but after a switch user and a salim on the account, it works. So I decided I would delete the password and now it simply says that it is the wrong password when I enter in the module user accounts. Ideally a complete restoration is out of the question because of the time, but if he has any other suggestions please let me know. Thanks in advance.

Mouse and keyboard does not not to login screen (Windows 7)
As far as I know, an update of windows was held last night. When I try to log on to my office (gateway), my keyboard and mouse (Logitech M310 K520) do not work. I tried to connect in safe mode, but still no luck. I can press F8 before it connects to enter advanced startup options. I went in the selection 'repair your computer', and my mouse and keyboard work fine. I tried a system restore, run the Diagnostics, memory windows and tried several reboots, but without any difficulty. I have tried other mice, tried different USB slots, but all have the same problems. They work very well until what the login screen and then do not respond.
Please let me know what are my options to resolve this problem. Would like to try more things on my own first of all, but I'm a bit of a novice in computer science.Hello

Black screen with cursor, no login screen; Windows 7 Home Premium 32-bit
Hi all
I have a Dell Inspiron 1501 running Win7 Home Premium 32 - bit with IE9. It worked perfectly fine for over a year. The last update listed in the system restore was on 23/04/2011. He installed the Windows updates.
My husband used the computer very well the next morning. When I tried to start the computer, it wouldn't so I thought that maybe the battery should be charged. I plugged it in and nothing helped. The load button wouldn't even nothing worked at all. I bought a new battery and it came yesterday. I changed the batteries and let one over new-completely. I then tried to start the computer and he did something I could not do in months... He ran the disk check.
The disk check lasted almost 2 hours. He wouldn't let me cancel it either. He said (from the pieces that I could see) that system files have been moved, a ton of them said that they have been replaced, others have been removed, and some have been updated. I knew not what do when it restarted because it did it is normal startup, showed at the Windows startup screen and then when I thought he was going to the login screen, it became black and only the cursor has been visible and moving.
I restarted again and this time the display of incorrect closing came. I tried all the options - normal mode, safe mode safe mode w/networking and safe mode w/prompt - all results were the same. Then I tried using the recovery tool to fix the problem. Startup Repair showed no problem, System Restore showed either deleted or corrupted files and I ran Windows Memory Diagnostic and it showed no problems. I even ran the Diagnostic tool in the start menu.
I think that chkdsk deleted my files of Windows, but I don't know how to get back them. I have the OS disk and tried to use the repair feature, but nothing yet. Also, I had to ask my husband did it to my laptop and he answered nothing. So I had to be more specific, and his answer to my questions were: ' I didn't download anything "and" I just closed the laptop, I never disconnected or shut it down. I guess that's the reason for the battery works not properly the next day.
If someone could help me with this, I would be very grateful.

All PCs are Dell Vostro 360 s. short of putting form all the I don't know what to do. Ctrl-alt-del does nothing. They are essentially disabled and glued to the fast flashing welcome screen. After Windows Update, the user cannot access password field on the login in Windows 7 screen
Windows 7 Home 64 bit, our machine is set with two users - two passwords. As a result of the automatic application of some updates (a number have been applied at the same time we were absent), a user can no more connection time because:
-the password field is hidden
-System attempst to check with a blankc password and return an error of incorrect user or password.
For some reason that I can't (even if logged on as administraor) remove or change the users password.
It seems that your security database is damaged. Here are some options you can try:
- Create new accounts. You can do this through steps 1-5 as before, then by typing these commands:
NET user "On" xxyyzz / add
net localgroup administrators "On" / add - Perform a restore of the system to a point while the problem appeared.
- Back up your data, and then reload Windows to a freshly formatted drive.
- Create new accounts. You can do this through steps 1-5 as before, then by typing these commands:

How to start viClient &; Login when Windows starts
Actually it's maybe a stupid question but for some less techie or low-level administrators, this can be useful in some situations.
Especially if we need help from other admins, but do not want to release our passwords.
I have a job I have run 2 x viClient for the PRD VMware vCenter VDI VIew VMware vCenter respectively.
-Click the shortcut of viClient
-Choose the vCenter in menu drop-down (or type it in)
-Enter the ID user & PW (I normally use Windows logon credentials)
Is it possible to automatically open a session:
1. start the viClient for the PRD VMware vCenter when workstations Win7 boot?
2. run the viClient at the sight of VMware vCenter when workstations Win7 boot?
3. start the viClient for the VirtualCenter of VMware RDP via a shortcut or a batch file?
4. start the viClient for the VMware View VirtualCenter via a shortcut or a batch file?
Try to change the properties of the shortcut to
"C:\Program Files (x 86) \VMware\Infrastructure\Virtual Infrastructure Client\Launcher\VpxClient.exe" s u user_name Pei Secret Server
or
"C:\Program Files (x 86) \VMware\Infrastructure\Virtual Infrastructure Client\Launcher\VpxClient.exe" s server - passthroughAuth
If you use Windows authentication.
Don't have not tried, but if you want the client autostart, it might work if you add shortcuts to the startup folder.
