  My code running on a TPC-2012 reads a shared variable that is hosted on a CRio.  The timestamp of the shared variable reading gives me the time of 05:00 even in 1903.

  If I read this same shared variable using software running on a PC vs TPC, I get a timestamp that corresponds to the exact time on the CRio. The CRio therefore publish and update the variable as needed.

  What's up with the PTC?  I'm guessing that the timestamp of reading is not supported on the TPC?  Yes/No?

  You must read the timestamp AND the actual output variable.  Just read the timestamp will not give you something meaningful.

• App.Kind difference between LV 2012 and 2013

  I have a LabVIEW program that I built in 2012, but recently updated for 2013. The App.Kind property node sends environmental LV to a Business Structure that determines whether it is appropriate to stop the program (development environment) or close the program (Run Time Environment). Each generation using 2012 leaves the program without any problem, but when the use of 2013, the program stops, out of the indicator reads 'Run Time System'. Everyone is aware of a difference between 2012 and 2013 (Run Time or development environments) which would require to change something or which suggests that this would not work? Any help is very appreciated.

  I suggest another way out.  Using this output function is like pulling the plug on a computer before his stop.  Let the program naturally stop when there are no more commands to process.

  My suggestion is when your program starts first, check if the FP. Open is true.  If so, it means that you are in the development system and you don't close when you exit.  If App.Kind is the Runtime system, you will be closed.  So the level value of a variable in the initialization phase of your VI and when it comes out, check this variable and if you want to close, use the FP. Closing command.  Do nothing otherwise.  You must ensure that your VI is actually going to end because the front of the fence does not mean that the VI stops running.

  Hi, I have a problem recently. I found that my windows server 2012 R2 has sometimes failed to connect with IBM Http Server ssl. Here it is the information of the two servers:

  I use Visual Studio 2012 + OR-DAQmx 9.7.5 (and tried 9.7.0 before that) and create an installation program that includes the required merge modules MStudioDAQmx.2012.msm, MStudioCommon.2012.msm dependence (and Visual Studio C++ runtime) using WiX.

  My problem is that the files contained in MStudioCommon.2012.msm seem to be installed in the GAC, where they belong, but the two files contained in MStudioDAQmx.2012.msm are copied to a folder "Module Retargetable Folder" in the installation directory - and that's where that in my humble OPINION, they do not part.   (1.) the MStudioCommon merge module * appears to be identical to the NOR-DAQmx and the Measurement Studio 2013. The example of "Deployment" of the Measurement Studio also works in the case of the merge module NI_DAQmx MStudioCommon *.

  We changed the addition of prefix in LabVIEW 2013 and later to add a space after the prefix. However, it does not add space if you include underscore in your prefix. Is your post copy script adding underscore everything generated code once the project created?

  I developed an application using LabVIEW 8.6 with the touch panel module and a TPC-2012 (Windows CE). I've now upgraded to LabVIEW 2009 and I'm trying to run my code in a TPC-2512 (XP Embedded), but the 'Touch Panel Navigation Palette' I used previously to be found in the new facility. In my view, there is a new range of "Navigation controls" in 2009, but I would like to avoid having to re - design my app with new controls.

  8.6 navigation controls are no longer supported in LabVIEW 2009 or have I missed something? The TPC is displayed in the Project Explorer and MAX, and I'm able to deploy and run applications on it. But the old vi navigation do not work and as I mentioned before, the palette is not even appear when you try to change the vi on the development computer.

  Any help would be appreciated.

  The navigation screw touch panel are not displayed to the top, because you are currently using the TPC-2512. If you take a look in the Help file on the Navigation, it states: 'installed with: Touch Panel Module.» This topic can not match its corresponding palette in LabVIEW depending on your operating system, or the licensed products and the target. "I checked this with both LabVIEW 8.6 and LabVIEW 2009 targets. Due to the different architectures, you get a different set of palette (Windows CE vs XP Embedded).
