  I downloaded Epson Easy photo print.  Tried to open the program and got an error saying:

  "C:\Program Files (x 86) \Epson Software\Easy Photo Print\EPQuicker.exe.

  The application has failed to start because its side configuration is incorrect.

  Please see the application event log or use the command-line sxstrace.exe for more details.

  How can I fix?  Is there a simple solution?  I'm not a computer genius, but I think I may be able to follow detailed instructions.

  Hello Foxesfan1.

  First step would be to ensure that the controller is actually seen correctly by Windows.  I'll assume that you have already synced the controller and the wireless receiver by pressing the button on the receiver and the little one on top of the controller.

  To make sure that the controller is configured correctly in Windows start tying the game controllers in the box start the search on Windows 7, the option is called installation USB game controllers.  It could be called game controllers or something similar on Windows Vista, I have here in front of me to check.

  Anyway it should open a window called game controllers, the controller must be in there, in this case click Properties and check that all buttons work properly.

  If it is then its probably does not work because Call of Duty either is not setup in support of controllers (a ride in his options to enable the controllers support), or simply does not support at all, not all areas of PC games.   I once had a problem with Windows Update, which gives me a family of .NET Framework through the window of Control Panel\Windows to update to Windows Vista, even if it has been installed and has Microsoft support help me through EasyAssist. The problem of .NET Framework has been fixed, but now I have a problem: the Control Panel\Windows update window informs me today I'll receive downloads for Windows only, not for all Microsoft products.

  Even if it is not automatic, you should be able to get your updates from the Microsoft Download center http://www.microsoft.com/DOWNLOADS/en/default.aspx

  Other than that, your best bet would be to do a repair install and let the system to reinstall the original files and settings.

  When you perform a repair installation, it restores the current installation of Windows Vista to the version on the installation DVD. This requires you to reinstall all updates that do not appear in this version of Windows Vista.

  To perform a repair of Windows Vista installation, follow these steps:

  1. Restart the computer.
  2. Insert the Windows Vista DVD into the DVD drive of the computer.

     Note If Windows does not automatically detect the DVD, click Start, type : \setup.exe in the Search box, and then click configuration in the list programs. Then click on install now.

  3. Click connect to get the latest updates for installation (recommended).
  4. Insert the product key if you are prompted to do so.
  5. Click to accept the Microsoft software license agreement.
  6. On the screen which type of installation you want , click upgrade.
  7. Once the installation is complete, restart the computer, and then try again to install updates.

  Remember, however, that it could undo previous changes to solve your problems of .net.

  XP behaves a little differently from Windows 7 or Vista.  The first edition (before Service Pack 1) had a lot of questions and by releasing SP1, you could not make it back in the original XP.   There are four packs of service out there for XP so you can search the Internet and make sure that the latest service pack is on your machine. http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/322389

  Assuming that you have the latest, the firewall is available mainly to keep people on the internet to take advantage of open ports and such that your application can use for internet communication, so when you configure firewall rules, you have set up for most of the inbound rules.   If there are viruses on your machine, you can configure outgoing rules, but it would be better to run a fix for the virus.

  Knowing that the firewall is designed to protect you from the internet, it might be useful to check if the firewall you have installed is sophisticated enough to enable rules that block your machine to go to the internet (outbound rules).
