BlackBerry Z10 reduce an image file to be attached to an e-mail message on a new Z10

Hello there, recently got a new Z 10, love it by the way.   Does anyone know how to reduce the image files that you take with the Z10 to attach one or more to an e-mail message.   There is no prompt in the options to reduce the size and the process that notifies you that the files are in the large shipment.  I tried all the visible change icons popping up, but none of them are associated with the reduction of file.

I would appreciate a well-informed response.

Thank you, Joseph

the picture in the z10 editor does a great job with Cup, effects, sharpness, etc.  but there is no re-size. There are two or three free photo editors in appworld that accomplishes this task for you.

    Hello PamMathison,

Please relay the e-mail program you are using and the operating system installed.
In addition, please relay if the problem occurs with a single file or more than one. You can also try to save the file directly on your local computer, and then check if the file is being read correctly. If there has been any recent codec package installation, you can also try to temporarily uninstall the codec package and then check out the question.

    Thank you

  • Create a csv file and send it in an e-mail message

In coldfusion, is it possible to create a csv file and send it in an e-mail, without ever save this file on the hard drive?

Lol you can't attach a file to an e-mail, unless the file has been created.

We deal with this situation by creating the file in a directory designated for dynamically created files.  Then we have a scheduled task that cleans all files over a certain age, every night.

  • Compression or reduce the image files

I'm trying to back up my computer, but I have never enough space to do so.  I noticed that some of my images are beyond 1 GB by themselves.  Is it possible to compress or to minimize the whole photo file to take less space without having to go into each photo and change its size?

  • . I have Windows Vista Home Premium. When I try to play a video file that is attached to my Windows Mail, playing audio but the video is not displayed on the screen.

Because video (photo) is not shown there is no window to control me, IE; delete, stop. I have to wait until the audio stop. I can even click on another email and the audion continues until it stops on its own. Very frustrating.

I've recently updated to IE9 and this problem started. I can see the other attachments, photos, etc., but must double-click on the icon of attachment (paperclip) displayed next to the email listed. Attachment icon does not appear with the body of the message. There is also a change from my old e-mail program used before you download IE9. I think I liked much better IE8!

    Hi JeanneChancellor,

    ·         What is the file format of the attachment?

Method 1: Try saving the file to the computer and check for the issue.

Method 2: Check if the update of Codecs can help with the issue.

  • lost folder and files when you attempt to attach to the e-mail message in outlook-web

My chosen file is sitting at the library/documents, but when I try to attach a file to this folder in my outlook web email, the entire folder is missing - from one moment to the other! all other outlook emails allow to locate, open, and attach this file. For fixing the web-outlook of this folder, I have to save the file to a USB key, then plug. Ideas he disappeared or how do I get it back?

It is probably a permissions problem.  Web sites are not allowed to access your personal files.  You can probably get around this by adding web outlook to your list of trusted sites, you can make Internet Explorer options.  Trusted sites get more access to your computer.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones Email attachments - how to save an attachment to the device memory or media card?

I have a BlackBerry 8310 Curve, which we got up to speed up our translation services.  the thing is that we have received a document attached, and we could not know how to SAVE the attachment to either the memory card or peripheral support, which would then allow us to transfer it directly to the laptop to work on.

The temporary solution we found was to convey the message to a different email address and download it to your computer. For some reason any later we could not attach the document to email the map of media either, so we had to email from the laptop to the blackberry, and then forward it to the client.

    So, my questions are:

How to save an attachment to an e-mail message OR the card memory or device support?

How can I attach a document to an email when ATTACH it to does not display the file in the folder? (of course I've already put it there)

    and as a side note

Why I could open the email attachment I had forwarded to the blackberry, but I could not open the original document (the two word .doc) sent customer e-mail.

Here are the details of my laptop: Win XP Home edition, Service Pack 3

Unfortunialy up to what your phone is updated with OS 4.5 the only way is to do it as you have in the past or I'm sure there are some programs that you can buy until you do not upgrade.

I use Blackberry Internet Service to get e-mail from a hosted private email server using POP3.  I get only some of the emails on my Blackberry (there are other emails that I get on my laptop via Outlook who do not appear on the Blackberry).  Any ideas on what could cause this?  One thought I had is with Blackberry 15 minutes of questioning, if my hosting company keeps the e-mail messages to the e-mail server for the less than 15 minutes, I will randomly Miss emails based on the time of the election.  Any other ideas?  Thank you.  -Tom

  • Run the .bar file in Blackberry z10

    I have a file .bar with me... .can someone tell me how to handle this Simulator;

I want also the format in which I sent this .bar file to my client... then he can run

    directly into the BlackBerry z10.

Please help me in this... its urgent

You cannot just copy the bar of the file on the device and execute it it must be installed in a way.

For a customer who you want to give the file bar so that they will have to sideload by using some 3rd third-party tool such as DDPB, Sideloading BB10 or extension chrome for example.

How to do this is well explained here...

  • BlackBerry Z10 IMPORT/EXPORT of CONTACTS OF BBB FILES to VCF FILES OR TEXT

I got a blackberry Z10 (unlocked version) which was defective and he has been replaced by an other Z10 (also unlocked) blackberry. Because the OS versions are different, I can't restore my contacts from the old to the new. BlackBerry has said that this is due to the difference in OS versions. I downloaded the bb world app that import/export of contacts, but can import text or vcf files and not the bbb files.  I downloaded Extractor backup blackberry but was disappointed to see that BB 10 backups are not supported yet. Please I need help with my old transfer contacts from my old bb to my new bb z10 z10. I use a computer hp laptop 8 windows.

    Thank you

So I guess you never backed up your phone using BlackBerry Protect, or you did.

If you did, you can install your contacts from there.

If you do not, think to do for next time.

Read all of this page, there is not much to read: http://worldwide.blackberry.com/ap/protect/

If you have never enabled BB Protect you.  Go to: settings, BlackBerry Protect, marketing and you must also turn on location services.

  • BlackBerry Z10 full file DONT_DEL001 SD card

Today I opened the file manager and all the files I transferred to my SD card are missing, there must be 1000's of files named "is DONT_DEL001", "= DONT_DEL002", and so on.  There are also a bunch of files namde "= FAT.

All the files are 0 KB in size and all have a creation date of December 31, 1969.

The only thing I've done since the night is connect to my car "Ford Sync USB", but he said he couldn't find any files.  I could listen to music via bluetooth...

I have so many little stupid problems with the Z10...

My service provider refused to open a ticket with BlackBerry support for my account and said that the BlackBerry Technical Advisor should be able to do it themselves.  They also suggested that my new SD card was incorrect and that he could not help me.

My solution was to reformat the SD card, resynchronize all my files and not reconnect to Ford Sync via USB.  I got my iPhone for the Z10 and now use it as an iPod via the port USB Sync from Ford.
