Configuration of APEX in oracle 11.1.0.7.0: apex admin screen is empty

I am trying to set up apex in an oracle 11 g (11.1.0.7.0) and after running the apxconf script and unlock the anonymous account, I get the white screen for apex / http://hostname:8080 / apex_admin
same behavior for http://hostname:8080 / apex

Any ideas on how to go beyond that?

Thank you
Jean Lou

If you do not have a "spfile" for the database, you will need to make the change for "shared_servers" parameter in the init.ora for the database file. You can change the value in the currently running instance by entering

ALTER system set shared_servers = 5;

Not enough information. See: How to get answers from the forum

Should include information on the middle tier you use (OHS/EPG/ADR) as the white page is related to the web server is not properly pages / content or content of pages / are missing in the expected location.

This problem is mainly related to the incorrect loading of the images to the web server.

Given that you use EPG (Embedded PL/SQL Gateway).

It is a wire recent similar problem to which I answered in detail:

blank page after you successfully install apex 4.2.6 4.2.0

This thread, I explained to upgrade, that applies also to the installation.

Specifically, the path you give during the loading of images for the sql scripts apex_epg_config.sql/apxldimg.sql is incorrect when you use the EPG.

    I hope this helps!

  • Cannot configure listener APEX Access 2.0.1 - 404 - Not Found

    Hello

    Fist of all I use:

GlassFish Server Open Source Edition on C:\ 3.1.2.2
    Windows 7 x 64

I have deployed listener APEX 2.0.1 on GlassFish Server Open Source Edition 3.1.2.2 successfully, but I can't access apex / http://hmarquez-lap:8090 / listenerConfigure. It returns a 404 not found error.
Also I can not access /listenerStatus

I followed the steps to deploy the earpiece of the apex on glassfish OracleDoc
I double checked properly, I created under default config-> Security-> file managerlistener on the list of the Manager of group and adminlistener on the list of the Admin group
The role of main default mapping is checked in the default configuration

I don't know if this has to do with any file in the directory or the config, it's configuration:

After running generate-jvm-report on console glassfish (asadmin.bat)

    Hello

In fact, I followed the tutorial you mentioned to deploy the earpiece of the APEX. And I wanted to access listenerConfigure, because after I deployed to glassfish with success I can work with APEX

The page listenerConfigure does not exist with APEX listener 2.0.

You must either configure the jar before you deploy on Glassfish or use the interface configuration of SQL Developer - I've always used the pot without problem configuration.

  • Configuration of SSL in Oracle Apps 11.5.10.2

    Hello

I'm trying to configure SSL in oracle apps 11.5.10.2.
I'm a bit confused with the note ID: 123718.1. Could you please explain on the underside of things?

1 SSL can be implemented at three levels,
    (a) oracle/Apache Web server level
    (b) level of oracle server form
    (c) level of oracle database

Can implement SSL on one or two levels of component? As per Note: 123718.1, we HAVE to configure SSL for the Oracle's HTTP server and Oracle Forms level and these cannot be configured independently.

    2. According to the Note ID: 123718.1, Option 2.1. Provision of certificate for Oracle HTTP Server
    Point b to point 2 says to run "$OPENSSL_TOP/bin/openssl sha1 or * > $HOME/.rnd.
But who will be the OPENSSL_TOP?

Please advise on these above two queries.

    Thanks in advance

    Kind regards

You need to do to both layer of Web/Forms.

  • Manipulate APEX Admin Pages

    Hello
Yes I know it's totally not supported but I m so curious...
How were the Pages Apex Admin build? Or how can I enter the ADMIN for Admin Pages mode?

I promise I'll tell the answer (if it exists) anyone else :-)

    Marco

    Hello

My point was that you could try and export the application and then try to change - then import it when you messing around with it. You can actually find the source in the apex directory, the path is something like oracle/product/apex/apex_3.1.2/builder.

Potentially, you can manage and then import it with a different application id.

This seems like a lot of effort for me...

I'm not aware anyway suitable or approved to do, and probably for very good reasons... ;)

    See you soon

However, I see the discussions initiated by me in a separate stream of data/place rather than mix them in all the other debates.

Is it possible to configure the options so that only the answers to my questions will be displayed in the Inbox?

It used to work before, however, I subscribed to a few communities and my Inbox is bombarded with all the discussions. I read and try to answer on the other discussions, but it is difficult to keep track of discussion initiated by me?

  • Choice of a Configuration of APEX

The APEX documentation indicates three HTTP server options are:
    1 oracle Application Express listener
2 oracle HTTP Server with mod_plsql
    3 embedded PL/SQL Gateway

I'll install the HTTP server on the same computer that has the GR 11, 2 Oracle database server. Because everything will be on a single machine, it means that the only option available is #3 Embedded PL/SQL Gateway? Or can I do options #1 and #2, even if the database server and the middle layer will be on the same machine?

    Hello

You can install Apex listener or OSH at the same server where is database.
If I understand correctly that you pay no extra license if OHS is installed on the database server.
