Configuration of VPN RV110W - please help

First of all, I would like to thank you for all the tips I have ever set up a VPN before.

I am looking for help on setting up a VPN connection to a remote device. I need to be able to connect from a laptop that could be in my office, home, or a hotel room in a city at random in North America. The RV110W will have a static IP address and the device behind him that I need to connect. What I need to know, I have to also take a RV110W with me when I travel to connect through a VPN for this device? Or can it be set up if I can connect from anywhere?

Customer support RV110W VPN IPsec and PPTP, and you can connect from anywhere using QVPN client or a Windows-based PPTP client.

Here are the steps:

Solution 1: Configure PPTP

---> Under VPN--> VPN Clients enable the PPTP server

-IP address for the PPTP server: IP address of the PPTP server, for example if the router has the IP 192.168.1.1, we can have 192.168.1.200 (must be in the same subnet as the LAN and DHCP server)

-IP address for the PPTP Clients: will give the range of the IP address to clients, in my view, is of maximum 5 IP

-Under VPN--> Clients VPN--> VPN Client configuration table

-Click Add a line and add the user name and password to enable checkbox and choose PPTP

-Click the button Save

Now on the PC to configure the client, here's example:

Solution 2:

We need to download and install the client use IPsec QVPN QVPN from this link:

-On the router under VPN--> VPN Client--> add Row and do the same steps, but instead of PPTP, choose QVPN

-Also under firewall allow remote management on port 443

now on the client he will ask for username and password for the client who already configured on the router and the server, the server is the public IP address of the router's WAN interface

    Thank you for posting.  As a gamer, I have an idea of what might happen.  It seems that the configuration file for the game is not correct or may be corrupt.  Unfortunately only EA support for the Sims 3 can really help you with this problem.  I suggest that you stay in control of their forums or contact their support team.

    I just started styding for CCNA, so I'm totally new to Cisco stuff. Recently bought a router 871W and spent two days in a row trying to configure internet connection with no luck! I use the port console for the configs and SDM/CCP. Would be greateful if someone could tell me how to do simple configs of internet connection. I googled everything but it's still confusing. I can't assing all-IP ports FA 0-3. I used instead of the VLAN. But all tutorials use FA0 and when I try to assign an IP address to FA0 it gives me some L2 cannot be assigned or something... :/ And I am also confused at what address IP use for WAN.

    I connected the cable between the Modem and the LAN of the PC port and copied some IP addresses which I think I have to use to configure the router for internet connection. And here they are:

    Looks like your 871w can not get a dynamic IP address: % unknown DHCP problem... No possible allocation

    you could ask your ISP to perform a reset/clear MAC add and try again?

    If it helps, I use automatic network default Solaris 11.11 management but I changed IP addresses of net1 and net2 manually to meet my network
    Requirements for the clusterware.

    I followed all the steps of the system requirements for installing under solaris 11.

    After checking everything I could have as detailed above, I'm now helpless as to where things go wrong

    What is automatic 11.11 Solaris network management that does not allow the creation of addresses IP SCAN VIP?

    the problem is the host name of the server is resolved is on the 10.X.X.X network.
    For example, the cluster requires the public network to be on this network. And the error you get, because this network is on DHCP.

    If you have the following options that you can try:
    a.) change the server to have the host name to resolve to the 192.X network
    (b) change the order of the network adapters
    (c.) remove the network 10.X.X.X at the moment of installation

    There is a problem with the wifi adapter "wireless network connection Wireless LAN adapter:" the driver is corrupted or it is incorrectly configured.

    I would start by removing the current driver of sifi and install the latest driver available.

    The IP address for the above connection is

    This state it does not connect with the router.  Alternatively, you can try to restart the computer and the router at the same time.

  • Configuration of VPN Cisco RV220W wireless

    Hello expert support.

    We have a RV220 Wireless Network Security Cisco Firewall.  It is currently configured to provide access only to select users.  Asked me to configure it to provide access to users of hotspots or home networks.  Thought which is on the road, or at home that they would use their home network or a location of hot point to the VPN to the RV220 to access the documents they needed.

    My hypothesis was set up VPN with the users who access the QuickVPN client.  I followed the setup steps, but VPN access failed.

    Anyone who has tried or succeeded in a configuration like that?  I have read a number of posts with users having problems, just configure the VPN and access with QuickVPN.

    Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    I vpn in my 506th pix and I have ver.4.0.1 software vpn client installed on the other pc (on the outside). In the firewall, there are two types of vpn; VPN site to site and remote vpn access. We use vpn for remote access to allow the vpn client to access our server right?

    This is all new to me and could you give an example how to configure vpn inside my firewall in CLI or PDM command and how to configure the software vpn client.

    Try chanigng a cisco and see if it solves... but otherwise, since you changed the PIX outside IP now, you will be able to make VPN connections to the new public IP address now, if it is routed on the internet.

    Your side has 192.168.202.0/24 and you are trying to PING 10.15 successfully but not 192.168.30.174

    Check that the ASA has a route to 192.168.30.174 pointing to the external interface.

    Also check that the customer has defined the 192.168.30.174 as part of the VPN traffic correctly.

    Here's a tip for the user on the problems of Wi - Fi. Suggest from the top and bottom. Maybe one of them will help you.

    (1) restart you device.

    (2) resetting the network settings: settings > general > reset > reset network settings. Join the network again.

    (3) reboot router/Modem: unplug power for 2 minutes and reconnect. Update the Firmware on the router (support Web site of the manufacturer for a new FW check).     There is a problem with your installation of OS X. The easiest way, but not the fastest way to fix it is to reinstall the operating system. Unless you are in a hurry or have measured access to the network, it is what I suggest, especially since I don't know if there are any problems with the installation. Please backup all data before reinstalling. You won't need the backup unless something is wrong.

    The below, advanced shortcut if it works, can save you some downtime (and the cost of a download of several gigabyte, if necessary.)

    1 back up all data.

    2. disconnect all external storage devices.

    3. start in recovery mode. Select a language, if you are prompted. The OS X Utilities appears. One of the options is to install OS X. This is not what you do.

    4. This step is only necessary if you use FileVault 2. If you don't know what's FileVault, you use it. Go to the next step. Otherwise, launch utility disk, then select the icon for the volume FileVault ("Macintosh HD", unless you have given it a different name.) It will be nested under another icon of the disc. Select open in the file menu and enter your login password when you are prompted. Then quit disk utility must be returned to the main screen.

    5. Select get online help. Safari will launch. While in recovery, you will have no access to your Favorites, but you won't need them. Load this web page.

    6. triple - click anywhere in the line below to select this option:

    Copy the selected text in the Clipboard by pressing Control-C key combination.

    7. Quit Safari. You go back to the OS X Utilities screen.

    Launch the Terminal application. Paste in the Terminal window by pressing the command-V key combination.

    Wait for a new line ending with a number sign (#) to appear. Quit the Terminal must be returned to the main screen.

    8. Select

    ▹ Restart 

    in the menu bar.

    9. This step must be performed after the restart, and while you are logged as administrator, not in recovery mode. If you have only one user account, you are the administrator.

    Select and copy this line as in step 6:

    sudo /usr/libexec/xpchelper --rebuild-cache

    Paste in a Terminal as before. You will be asked for your login password. Nothing displayed when you type. Type carefully, and then press return. If you do not have a password, you will need to configure one before you can run the command. You can get a warning to be careful. Confirm. You don't need to display the warning.

    If you see a message that your user name "is not in the sudoers file", then you have not logged as an administrator. Log in as one and repeat this step. You don't have to repeat the previous steps.

    Wait for a new line ending with a dollar sign ($) below what you entered.

    10. make as in step 9 with this line:

    sudo /usr/libexec/*/app_sandbox_cache_builder --rebuild-cache

    You can then quit Terminal.
