Configure via missing WAN

So I try to implement my 4th gen airport Time Capsule Version 7.6.7, for use with a server that I can access via the internet. I've seen many tutorials that say I need to activate the configuration over WAN.

The image above is of the previous version of the utility AirPort and not my system.

Here's what it looks like on my system:

How am I able to get it set up on Wan and does not remove anything? Soon, any help would be wonderful!

Thanks in advance!

There may be some configuration of remote access options in this article: AirPort Disk - access remote (3 methods)

In addition, the WAN configuration option is available on your base station? May need to set up there.

Hope that there is something of value here.

Take care

Please do you an idea what is the problem? I use the ipAddress in my resource of connector and I don't know what IPAddress means IOM. How can I solve this problem?

Thank you very much for your help.

Milan

Hi, Yes, but all of these attributes are defined by me. for example, I defined in the attributes of DS3ConnectorConfiguration:

private String keyStore = null;

private String password = null;

private String DS3IPAddress = null;

private String DS3Domain = null;

private String DS3Group = null;

and I defined with annotations such as get/set methods: @ConfigurationProperty (order = 1, required = true, helpMessageKey = "configuration.keyStore.help", displayMessageKey is "configuration.keyStore.display"). This says for example that this property or attribute annotation is required.

You must post these attributes in the public Sub validate().

I don't care

I solved my problem.

The problem is in DS3ConnectorConfiguraiton.java. I had it as ipAddress properties, group... I created get/set methods getIPAddress(), setIPAddress (...); When I created a test application and pasted my connector on the connector server and called some test cases, I have seen this problem is in the get/set methods. I used the ipAddress property and in get/set methods, I used IPAddress (like getIPAddress with uppercase characters I and P). I renamed ipAddress as DS3IPAddress and I created the same get/set methods where the suffix (the attribute name is exactly the same). So, my get/set methods are getDS3IPAddress and setDS3IPAddress. Also, I've renamed other attributes, because after the resolution of IP address, I got error for the attributes of a group. Now, it works fine

Of course, I got another error, but this error I can fix (it's error in my DS3Util.java...)

• Import an element of configuration via REST API vCO

Hello, I try to import a configuration item via the REST API of the vCO (5.5.1 device), documented here: http://pubs.vmware.com/vsphere-55/index.jsp?topic=%2Fcom.vmware.vsphere.vco_develop_web_services.doc%2FGUID-75E0F269-3D26-418E-8597-E9FC9E67C608.html

The doc says thyou must add the request headers to set the properties of the element of the configuration that you want to import, but gives no details. I tried a few variations but each mistake to return 400 (bad request). For the purposes of this post, I use vCO as the customer STAYS that way. I think it can be a problem of chickens and eggs, you have probably set a relationship category (folder) to the imported configuration item configuration item - do not know how to do this, but how otherwise he would know where to store the imported configuration item?

Here is what I tried:

// I have pre-defined a REST host on the vCO server that points to itself (var restHost)
// restHost.url is https://<vco IP>:8281/vco/api

var reqString = restHost.url + "/configurations/";
System.log("Request Query: " + reqString);

// Got the following content from a REST query to export a config element - this is a vanilla config element
var xmlContent = "<?xml version=\"1.0\" encoding=\"ISO-8859-1\" standalone=\"yes\"?>\n<config-element " +
// I've tried both omitting and including the id
//"id=\"CB808080808080808080808080808080038A808001334613384319bad96d0cacb\" +
"version=\"0.0.0\" >\n" +
"<display-name><![CDATA[test_element]]></display-name>\n<atts>\n" +
"</atts>\n</config-element>\n";

var req = restHost.createRequest("POST", reqString);
req.contentType = "application/vcoobject+xml;charset=UTF-8";
req.setHeader("contentAsString", xmlContent);
var response = req.execute();
System.log("Response: " + response.toSource());

httpResponse:HTTP / 1.1 400 Bad Request

Documentation for VMware:

Make a POST request to the URL of the configuration item objects:

POST http://{vcoHost}:{port}/vco/api/configurations/

If the POST request is successful, you receive the 202 status code.

Not sure if the REST plugin vCO supports several content directly part.

Do you need to import configuration programmatically items? If this is not the case, the simplest way would be to import the terminal using curl or shell script. Something like the following command:

curl -i -v -k -u user:password -X POST https://10.23.12.20:8281/vco/api/configurations -F categoryId=8a978c4b46aa6b9a0146aa6d116d0008 -F file=@d:/downloads/abcconfig.vsoconf

where:

user: password - your credentials of the vCO

10.23.12.20 - your vCO server address/IP

8a978c4b46aa6b9a0146aa6d116d0008 - ID of the category of configuration items

d:/downloads/abcconfig.vsoconf - path to the file containing configuration items to import

• OfficeJet Pro 8500 configuration via ethernet

I just purchased a HP Officejet Pro 8500 Wireless and want to connect it to my wired ethernet network. I do this type of installation because I believe that it will be more reliable and faster connection. In addition, my printer is on the same desktop as my iMac and Time Capsule. I plan to connect the printer through ethernet to the CT, which is connected to my iMac via wired ethernet. The problem I have is that all gigabit ethernet ports, three on the TC are already in use so I would need to add an ethernet switch (or do I need a hub?) in the equation (maybe one like this on Amazon http://http://amzn.to/9zgsOJNetgear unit). Will I encounter problems if I connect the printer to my network using ethernet in this switch? This configuration will allow me to print wirelessly on my LAN to my Macbook Pro and my guests to be able to do the same to their Mac or PC? What about printing from my iPad when comes out the 4.2 update software (which allows to print wireless in native mode)?

Thanks for the help!

Hello

Adding a Switch or a hub to your network should not cause any problems, do not add a second router in error because this will cause multiple network problems.

I hope this makes you in the right direction.

• Change to the subject: the configuration via the mac terminal settings

Hello

I administer more than 140 computers mac, with firefox installed. Unfortunately, it seems like a daily appearance when a user calls and says that firefox is updated, listen to which they can't because they are not administrator accounts.
Now, I use apple remote desktop to turn off auto-updated for many other applications such as software update, microsoft office and adobe. Unfortunately since firefox does not use a standard plist file on mac I can't use default to write preference remotely.
Question: Is there a way to write to the config of firefox via command line, so I can turn off auto-updated mass instead of having to touch to each computer and do change in the GUI?

Thank you!

Use a mozilla.cfg file in the Firefox program folder to lock the prefs or specify default values.

Place a local file - settings.js in the folder by default/pref where you will also find the channel - prefs.js to specify using mozilla.cfg file.

pref("general.config.filename", "mozilla.cfg");
pref("general.config.obscure_value", 0); // use this to disable the byte-shift

See:

You can use these functions in mozilla.cfg:

defaultPref(); // set new default value
pref(); // set pref, but allow changes in current session
lockPref(); // lock pref, disallow changes

lockPref("app.update.enabled", false);

What keeps me to enter RAID configuration menu?

Is there some SATA ports I need the HARD drive to be attached to the?

Motherboard is the model 2B4B, verson A0.11 BIOS

Based on this post I tried to use Intel Rapid Storage to make the RAID. TSRI was not installed/available in Windows so I donwloaded it... during the installation I was told there was a newer version already installed (which is weird because I couldn't access it).

Because everything counts OS logged as that doesn't have an account AUTHENTIFIE of BONES in the database.

but I can connect like this,

[oracle@localhost ~] $ sqlplus

Enter the user name: ops Sham $
Enter the password:
Connected to:

Because, despite the "ops$"... ops$ feint isn't an authenticated OS account. This is a database of authenticated account. It's only a database of authenticated account because you gave it a password. From your previous post to Justin:

-quote from the previous post to start-

SQL > CREATE USER ops$ sham IDENTIFIED EXTERNALLY.
Created by the user.
-suspend - quote

OK, at this point, you have an authenticated os account "$ops Sham".

-quote to continue-
SQL > GRANT CONNECT TO the Sham ops$;
Grant succeeded.
-suspend - quote

Now, the operating system account 'sham' should be able to connect with a simple "sqlplus / '.

-quote to continue-
SQL > grant dba to simulacrum of ops$;
Grant succeeded.
-suspend - quote

Now, anyone who uses the operating system account 'sham' can connect without a password and have all the privileges listed in the role of "dba".

-quote to continue-
SQL > alter the simulacrum of $ ops user identified by shamos.
Modified user.
-end quote-

But now change you your account "$ops Sham" and gave it a password. OPS$ feint is therefore more than a bone authenticated account. It is now a database authenticate the account, but with a rather misleading name. At this point, if you are trying to connect as "sham of the ops$", you will need to provide a password.

Oracle Database 10g Enterprise Edition Release 10.2.0.1.0 - Production
With partitioning, OLAP and Data Mining options

Note: most web links either saying, we can choose to connect with DB.
I want to know the difference why this sqlplus command / error display

Because you're tying to use authentication with an operating system account that is not an operating system os authenticated account in the database. Put "ops$" on the name of the account is NOT what makes an authenticated os account. What makes authenticated os sets the account as "identified on the outside. If you create as 'identified by somepassword', OR if you CHANGE to 'identified by somepassword' then it is NOT authenticated os.
