  I try to use the Microsoft Office tool that implement an MSI for 64-bit Office 2010 installation file.  The tool works file and creates the msi file.  I get to the tool by going to the x 64-bit folder on the office 2010 installation disc.

  I install a new virtual machine from Windows 7 and tried to use the MSI file to install office 2010 and I get the error:

  "The upgrade patch cannot be installed by the Windows Installer service because the program to be upgraded is may be missing or the upgrade patch may update a different version of the program"

  If I just click Setup on the office 2010 dvd he moved very well on the same VM window7.

  Does anyone have an idea how do to understand why the windows installer keep fails or what he wants?

  If I click on the msi even on a system with office 2007 is installed, I get the same error.

  Step 1:
   
  First of all, download and install .net Framework Cleanup Tool to remove selected versions of the .NET Framework on your computer.
   
  Step 2:
   
  Manually install the versions of Microsoft .NET Framework below:

  I am completely new to the administration of VMWare, I have to be patch our VMWare of U4 U5 - and I'm a bit confused about the process. Usually with the software, you would get a paper patch to this patch, with installation instructions, run an exe for example and go to installation. From what I've seen on the web, it seems to be a generic upgrade for all patches, same major guide - and I've seen conflicting information on what I need to do.

  Y at - it a simple step-by-step process for this update? I found the details of the search for VMware 3.5 patch and I found the update of U5, which seems to contain three files - XML all.

  Any help is very appreciated and I hope I found the right section for this question.

  If you have Virtual Center (HA cannot function without it).

  (1) virtual center upgrade to 2.5u5

  (2) set up the Update Manager and download all the patches

  (3) to migrate all VM on the host

  (4) put the host in maintenance mode

  (5) using the Update Manager

  (6) wait until the update is completed

  (7) exit maintenance mode

  (8) repeat 3 to 7 for all guests

  According to Cisco, it is necessary to install the Patch: A-PreUpgrade -CSCum04132- 5-4-0-46 - 0 has .tar .gpg before moving to 5.5. Our current system running 5.4 has the latest patch 5-5-0-46 - 1.tar.gpg already installed.

  Not sure how GBA 5.4, you have applied hotfix ACS 5.5. The 5.5.0.46.1 patch is for GBA 5.5.0.46 only.

  The fact-preupgrade patch is not covered by any rollup, as is a special patch.

  In order to upgrade the ACS from 5.4 to 5.5, here is the process:

  1.] apply the latest patch i.e patch 5-4-0-46 - 6.tar.gpg

  
  

  2.] apply the patch sharp i.e sharp-PreUpgrade -CSCum04132- 5-4-0-46 - 0 to .tar .gpg

  
  

  [3.] before running the "compress database" on ACS CLI.

  4.] apply ACS 5.5 application upgrade i.e ACS_5.5.0.46.tar.gz

• Update VUM 5.1 to 5.5 with a base with host and the host upgrades patches

  We are currently running vCenter 5.5.0c with 5.1u1 on all hosts.  We have lines of base (2) attached to these hosts.  One of these baselines is dynamic with all the latest patches to be applied and the other baseline is the upgrade to 5.5.0a.  We have not restored over several months and I have a question.  If I leave two reference levels, AUVS will know to run the upgrade first and then patch the latest version?  I want to just make sure THAT VUM does not apply time to 5.1 before moving to 5.5 patches.  If there is not a good answer on that, the plan is to detach the dynamic baselines with all the patches and it reinstall manually after the upgrade to 5.5.  Management doesn't like going to the latest versions and the plan is to actually update it 5.5.0a, because it is later (update1) HP.  We go to patch after that, while the server is in maintenance mode, but I didn't at the margin of the baselines set if it can run 5.1 patches before moving to 5.5.  I excluded the cumulative 5.5 update1 for our dynamic patch database.

  Should / can apply 10.2.0.4?
  
  OR - what happens if I install and patch software oracle 10.2.0.5 on the new server and RMAN DUPLICATE (10.2.0.4) database to new server? Please advise!

  As long as the product of the oracle in question is certified for the OS in question, I think you'd be OK.

  If you go to 12.0.4, you will need to apply u6394500.drv driver. I think that u4440000.drv is the pilot to upgrade to R12 (12.0) but not 12.0.4

  as noted, browse the datastore (s) find the models name, right-click on the .vmtx file, and then "add to the inventory.

  Versions of Oracle our present is 11.2.0.2. Oracle has recommended go us to SUPPLY 6 block and move to 11.2.0.3.0 Patch Set. I was able to go through the literature on the impact of the 11.2.0.3 patch on our request, but can not find information about a 'block of SUPPLY 6' anywhere.

  The last PSU for 11.2.0.3 is 11.2.0.3.2. 6 POWER supply exists for 11.2.0.2.
