Connect the 7 error after upgrade to link 9

I just upgraded my test environment to 9 connect successfully, but when I connect I get an error from Adobe Acrobat Connect 7 Profesional. I don't have this when we were on Connect 8. Here is the error message in its entirety

Any ideas as to what could be causing this?

I contacted Adobe support for help with this issue and I would like to add that we have done to solve this problem of thought incase everything else has a similar problem. The main problems have been resolved when we learned that I did not change the compatibility level of the database when I copied the database to a new server. Once this was changed form SQL 2000 to SQL2008 issues went away. I think that Adobe Connect 9 requires that the database or a SQL 2008 database or later version.

Right-click on the database and select Properties

Go to Options and change the level of Compatitbilty to SQL Server 2008 (100)

    Looks like you may have updated to misapplication. Probably, you have Adobe Acrobat (the full version) and installed Adobe Acrobat Reader instead. If you had "improved" Adobe Acrobat, it would have cost you money. Acrobat Reader is free.

    Found the solution, remove the battery after the closure of the DM, connect the usb cable and then replace the battery, the pc will read it.

  • HPC8180 printer connects to the wireless network, after upgrade firmware to the router wireless

    My HPC8180 has been wireless since I bought it some time ago.  I recently had to upgrade the firmware on my router wireless of Netcom NB9W and since then my HP will not solve for the wireless network.

    I run the wizzard of wireless network on the printer, select the correct SSID and enter the WEP key according to the instructions.

    It will then not connect.

    Print the summary I have says that it passes all except:

    No filtering = Fail

    Connected = do not run

    Signal strength = very weak (which is strange because it is about 10 feet away from wireless router).

    Other networks detected matching your network name (SSID) = No.

    Summary says:

    Network Name (SSID) altnet (correct)

    Address IP = not applicable

    Configuration source = not applicable

    Communication mode = Infrastructure

    Authentication type = open system

    = 64-bit WEP encryption

    I have NOT activated the mac address filtering

    Your router appears to be a DSL modem-router.  Those who can be difficult to connect to.  In addition, WEP can be problematic and is no longer a measure of security.  WEP can be broken in 10 minutes approximately with the freeware on the internet.

    We will do three things:

    1. replace the WPA or WPA2 encryption.  You can make your own password.  Do 13 or more characters, numbers and uppercase and lowercase letters.

    2 reset the default settings on your printer network (configuration > network area).

    3. attach to the router in this way:

    Sometimes the DSL providers have more control over the router like the printer.

    -Unplug the phone line from the router
    -Cut the power to the router, wait 30 seconds, then turn on the power.
    -Go through the normal process of the printer connected to the device (wireless configuration wizard)
    -Now to find the IP address of the printer (it should be on the self-test printout), type it in a browser.
    -On this screen, you will find a tab management network, then on the left wireless, then the IPv4 tab.
    -On this screen, you want to set a manual IP address. You must assign an IP address outside the range that the router sets automatically (called the DHCP range). If you know what it is, set an IP address outside this range but not exceeding 254 (the last number of the address).
    -Apply the subnet 255.255.255.0 (unless you know it's different, if so, use it)
    -Let the white gateway and DNS
    -Finally, connect the telephone line, restart the router and the test.

    It seems that the CD/DVD drive cannot read the disc, and therefore the BIOS passes to LAN and try to boot from LAN.
    In this case you will receive the error check cable PXE.

    Did you check if you can use another bootable disk?
    I mean you can try to install Windows using the Win XP disk
    Maybe booting from another disc would work

    I upgraded Windows 8.1 to Windows 10 yesterday.

    Up to now the double screen/second screen was working fine after upgrade my projector not able to identify my laptop.

    When I select the Windows key + P I get the message error "your PC can't project to another screen. Try to reinstall the driver or by selecting the different video card"

    On my device-> graphics cards Manager, I see only Microsoft Basic graphics card.

    I upgraded my computer to HP Pavilion Elite Windows VISTA Home Premium 64-bit for Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit. I have a HP Photosmart C5550 printer is connected via USB.  All different printer dialog boxes print operated without problems in Windows VISTA.  The Windows 7 upgrade process without incident and I thought it was full until I tried to adjust the preferences of printer (HP Photosmart C5550) for a print request.  Basically, I like to print things with a low resolution only in black ink and for this I select the Preferences link in the print window.  I was able to select the link Preferences only once and adjusted the print settings according to what I wanted and printed the task successfully.  The next time I tried to print something, I wanted to change my preferences to something with color but encountered the following error:

    Address of the 0x5005f6a1 function caused a protection fault. (code 0xc0000005 exception)

    Some or all property pages cannot be displayed.

    Operation could not be performed.

    At this point I want to emphasize that the print request will display when I select the button print.  I can not simply adjust preferences.  Further study produces the same error message in the HP Solution Center.

    I visited HP website to try to find a solution and:

    1. Uninstalled my printer
    2. Downloaded the last installation file "PS_AIO_04_C5500_NonNet_Full_Win_WW_130_140.exe".
    3. Installed the printer according to the instructions

    Subsequently, I was happy to see I could once more click the Preferences link in the print window, but was quickly disappointed when I received the same exact error messages when I tried to repeat a change in preferences for a second printing (and all) the print requests.

    Any help will be welcomed.

    I am familiar with the error code that you see, but there is a solution available for upgrades of USB. It looks like you don't have run the patch included in the solution, so perform an uninstall/patch/reinstall might fix the problem.

    Also make sure that you download the 64-bit drivers.

    you might have run into the bug #16769040. I already asked David Peake to update the 4.2.2 known issues with an explanation. In short, install the patch group may lead to an inconsistency with an instance parameter (INSTANCE_ID) and cookies from generator, which translates into a missing Developer toolbar. If this is the problem on your instance, it can be corrected by running (as a SYS):

    I upgraded to vCenter Server 4.0.0 today and the following plug-ins do not load when you start the VI - material status vCenter client and vCenter Service status.  The error message in the window manager plugin is "the following error occurred during the download of the plugin script of https://servername:8443/cim-ui/scriptConfig.xml: Impossible to connect to the remote server."  The tab overview of performance also does not work either.  After some searching through the logs I have determined that when the management of Web Services service starts it generating SSL errors.  The newspaper of vpxlicent I see several messages "Validation SSL failed in WebRequestPatch" followed by "no connection could be established because the target machine actively refused it" when it tries to download the scripts for plugins.  In addition, I see it in the tomcat log, catalina.2009 - 07-23, when to start the service of Web services:

    SEVERE: End Point initialization error

    java.io.IOException: could not decrypt entry content secure: javax.crypto.BadPaddingException: given the final block not well padded

    Followed a few seconds later by the present (after much more SSL error messages similar to the one above):

    NEWS: Stop Coyote HTTP/1.1 on http-8443.

    I'm assuming that the last line is the reason why I can not connect on port 8443, and why a netstat doesn't show anything listening on this port on my box of VC.  I know that my certificates of work (up to a certain point) because if I connect via https on port 443 for my box of VC, it works fine.  It is only by trying to connect to 8443 this problem occurs.  I already tried the steps of http://kb.vmware.com/selfservice/microsites/search.do?language=en_US & cmd = displayKC & externalId = 1010641 even if I don't get all messages that point to problems of name resolution and it did not help. 

    Anyone have any ideas?

    I had same problem as described above. In my case, the reason for which the 8443 service did not start is that tomcat was trying to use the wrong password to open the file rui.pfx. I did the following to solve this problem.

    1.) stop windows services on vCenter

    (2.) %PROGRAMFILES%\VMware\Infrastructure\tomcat\conf\server.xml open in Notepad

    3.) search for "< connector port ="8443 ""

    4.), you will see that this line refers to the rui.pfx certificate file that was change when you updated your certificate. Update the 'keystorPass =' for the password of the rui.pfx certificate.

    5.) start the vCenter services

    NOTE: The password cannot be empty for the rui.pfx as it was in my case, because this would cause its failure. I had to import and then export the rui.pfx with a password to get the above to work for me.

    My Mac can work and in "about this Mac" already made it known that the OS is ElCapitan 10.11.5.
