Connect the speakers (or Bluetooth)

I have an iMac 27 ", using OSx 10.11.4 and I was wondering if or how I can connect speakers to the iMac (not bluetooth). Doesn't look like there is a port on the iMac to do, specifically my Altec Lansing that I used for my previous PC. But they don't small rca type connector (to the). I'm guessing that these work or not able to connect to my iMac?

Also, I have a bluetooth wireless speaker, I can use, noticed but after I have pair it to use, if I close the bluetooth screen it "unpairs", that means to use the speaker bluetooth every time, I need to keep it open to the bluetooth screen (and just minimize it)?

Also, on the bluetooth screen, I see a pair of speakers I can pair supposedly, who do not belong to me. I wonder if this is one of my neighbors close (I live in a condo). I don't want to try to pair it and try to use it, not knowing what might happen. I also see it says that my iMac is now detectable also, did mean others nearby can see that on their list? If so, can they do something or try to open it in some way or somehow? Sorry for these questions, I am a fairly new mac owner

Thanks to you all!

If your Altecs have a stereo 3.5 mm mini-plug you plug into the audio socket / headphone in the back of your iMac.

Hello. It depends on what model of laptop you have, as there is a lot of variation between models. If you have a model with 3 audio jacks then you should be able to use the speakers. I would like to know the complete model name and give you the instructions to configure it for 5.1 audio output.

Original title: Win7 won't let dongle BT start with the latest Broadcom Widcomm driver

Thanks for the advice, but I came to the conclusion that Windows 7 does not support the advanced features of this particular Logitech Bluetooth adapter. Windows XP takes to load them entirely, but for some reason any Windows 7 isn't. From Logitech Web site States expressly that the Bluetooth adapter supplied with my keyboard and mouse will not support anything other than a mouse and a keyboard, which is unfortunate. I don't know why, but there you have it. I'm giving up now.

  • Connecting the speakers front and motherboard MXP

On Monday, March 21, I collected my mobie from service after the replacement of mothervoard Center and now both my SIM slots work. At sea I got 6.0.1 update that I've updated quickly. But since the update my melodious sound of the front speaker disappeared. Its cracking and the sound is now similar to some low-quality speakers.

When I went to the DEPOT, he was about to be closed and some other preparations of new furniture service center was present. The environment is dusty. This could be the reason behind the issue of quality of speaker?

Is the replacement of the motherboard, nothing to do with the sound, or something is wrong with the 6.0.1. Anyone faced with this its problem of quality after the 6.0.1 update?

  • Pavilion 25xi: connect the speaker Hp pavilion 25xi

Hello.. I have a problem, connect the speakers supplied with the monitor of 25xi Pavilion. The connection on the sheet of paper supplied with the monitor shows that the speakers can be connected using the adapter. However, the power adapter has no provision to do so. Or the monitor has an audio input jack. Displays the the laptop HDMI cable but without sound. Have I been delivered with an incorrect power adapter or that the sound can be activated through my portable speaker? Help please...

    Hello

The screen itself has nothing to do with external speakers

    https://www.YouTube.com/watch?v=Oq5EJUV9Rqw

and you have to deal with external speakers as of different devices, not a single unit with the monitor. What is the model of speakers? Normally, they should have their own power supply, and you must connect directly to your computer, not through monitor as you can see in any case no port.

Please try to connect the speakers DIRECTLY using the helmet on your laptop. I think it's a promotion complement (or throw in). Speakers and monitor function as two different units.

    Kind regards.

  • Re: Satellite C660: Sound through the speakers when the headset is connected.

    I have a brand new 258 C660, running on Windows 7.
Playback device: Realtek High Definition Audio

    * Whenever I have headphones or external speakers connected via the 3.5 mm jack plug, sound still comes through the built-in distant.*

    Here's what's happened so far:

When I plugged the external speakers were first, I was asked to choose if I had plugged a headphone or speakers. I selected "speakers" and then also, perhaps foolishly, choose "do not ask me again".
Now, I can't to this selection again.

Here's what I've tried so far:
    -Reboot
-Try different headphones, try them on other devices
-System Restore (not, for some reason any)
-all settings via the sound control panel

Basically, I think that I am looking for a way to disable the internal ATAPI Jack when the external Jack 3.5 mm is used.

I am aware, there was a similar thread some time ago, but the problem may be slightly different and perhaps due to the fact that I chose "do not ask me again". At least, I hope this isn't a hardware problem...

Thanks in advance for any advice

Don t think there s hardware issue.

    Try this:
    Connect the headphones.
Go to the control panel-> Sound-> playback tab
Here, you should see the speakers and headphones.
Now choose the headphones and set this default value.

    This help you?
