connect to my network home
What should I do to connect to my network on my laptop? The main computer and my ipad is connected, but it won't let me connect to my network on my lap top. I see others secure networks that I can connect to. My network indicates that the settings on my computer for the network does not match the network requirements with a big red x to the intensity of the signal instead of the signal bar.
Hello

Wireless connection to the network home
I recently bought a Tecra8200 with free Wi - Fi. I have a XPprof Windows installed on it. When trying to connect to my home network with wireless lan functionality, I am not able to connect to my router Sitecom WL-025. (cables) In exceptional cases, the system does not recognize the wireless network. In two cases only have been recognized my Sitecom and the Belkin to my neighbor. I've only had the SSID for routers. No connection. What settings should I enter to make this thing work with the version of wireless network card?
Hello
You can check the router if a MAC address verifivcation is enabled? You have any other PC with wireless connection to the router and look in these wireless settings?

G560 wireless connects to other networks, but not my home network
Hello
Got the 560 yesterday and set up was smooth. First thing I did was try to connect to my home wireless network, but it wouldn't connect. I checked the network password several times but it doesn't connect at all.
All my other devices at home can always connect to my network. And the 560 connects to the network of my neighbour without problem.
So I think that this is not a problem with the radio doesn't work.
Tried to restart the connectivity and the computer several times, but has not made a difference. Does not resemble ReadyComm is installed on my machine.
Someone had this problem? Is there anything I can try?
FYI my home router is Netgear and is set up with WPA - PSK.
Thank you.
Update:
Discovered the Atheros drivers were from 2009. Looked around the internet and found a newer version (although not later).
Updated the drivers manually and its working fine now.

After installing winows xp SP3, cannot connect to the network wireless at home
My daughter has an old windows xp pc. I have a USB wireless adapter attached to it to our wireless here at home. When I install SP3, the network card does not connect to the network. I have uninstall xp3 to make it work. I even reinstalled the software for the card after xp3 installs, and it still does not work. What can I do about this problem?
Go wireless adapter manufacturer and obtain an updated driver, then it should work. If the manufacturer does not, for a search on the Web.

My laptop runs Vista and I've not had problems connecting to my home network wireless until a week ago or not. Then, trying to connect, I see other available networks, but not my own. When I try to connect manually, it says that the network already exists. Other computers, macbooks, are able to connect to my home network without problem. I am able to connect to a network on my laptop fine unsecured wireless.
I could 'solve' the problem or get reconnected with a restoration of the system to an earlier date, but it only lasts a day or two. I searched for another fix and tried many things, including to reset the router, remove my network, and then reinstall, etc, but can't seem to get this to work as if it were - automatic connection as the first network.
Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.
You have rebooted the router and the pc at the same time?
You run the IPCONFIG / all from a cmd prompt can and download a preview of the output to a file share services like rapidshare and put a link to it in your next post?

I finally removed my network security and the State of the network now shows me as connected. The Red Cross has disappeared. It seems that Windows 7 does not support WPA2-PSK. I can't imagine that's the case. Any ideas as to why, as it is installed on my PC, is an option for WPA2-PSK? As I said, the material is supported and worked with XP. »

"I found a solution. I had recently updated my GOAL to the latest version and it is incompatible with the new vista. It seems to be a small bug in the operating system. How I solved it is uninstall AIM and the other program "Viewfinder" or something like that...
After that I uninstalled both of these programs, the Red Cross had disappeared and I had no network problem either. I now use trillian and I have no problem. I hope this helps! » -
I got my wife connected to my home network running Windows Media Center on Windows 7 laptop and it could be accessed by all computers on my home network. I replaced the laptop of the woman with a new laptop which has Windows 7. During the installation of Windows 7, it automatically set to join my home network. Now all but one of my other computers can access files/folders on the new laptop without a user name or password. But when I try to access the new laptop from pc it ask me a username and password. I never put in place of user names with password on all computers. I can go in the new laptop and send files and public folders from the pc of one of the problems, but not the reverse. Someone has an idea how I can fix this where it is not regarding the username and password on this computer?

Both computers have Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit installed and both computers already have access to Internet wireless (router to our owner in the next section). I want to be able to continue to use the wireless Internet, but want to share files directly between my two computers with the switch, if possible (assuming that it will be much faster for file transfers and sharing of multimedia files). I am a total rookie at most of these when it comes to networking of instructions in English is appreciated. Thank you.

E4200 PC connects to the router and the network home and says its connected to the internet but wont
Hello
I have an E4200 and upgraded to the Cloud Connect. It was buggy, and so I went down to the firmware before that. I have all the computers works well in the House except my office. It connects to the network, he can see the other computers on the network can still do a windows update. But when I go to use google chrome or internet explore it just won't connect to the internet. Has anyone already experienced this? It does not work either if it's a wired or a wireless connection, it was fine before the upgrade downgrade and following. It is on this desk that I installed and uninstalled cloud connection thew. I know enough to set up the network, but when it does not work... .so I'm lost for what to do. Help, please!
I did a restore of the system to a point before I upgraded to Cisco Connect Cloud, and that did the trick. Thank you for your willingness to help. All is well now.

Suddenly, I can not connect to printer on home network wireless.
I have a Pro L7680 Officjet and we have a new installation of cable company in our House. We have 2 laptops and 1 desktop. All three share this printer and we had no problem. Since the installation, 1 laptop connects to the printer. Support cable co. was not able or willing to help, saying: it's not their fault. I get a message that the printer is offline, when other computers have no problem printing.
On the problem computer, go to control panel > printers and delete all instances of the printer.
Then, print a network Test Wireless at the front of the printer (network menu). Note the IP address of the printer.
1. make sure the printer is on and connected to your network. Verify that you can access the printer's internal web page by accessing its IP address before continuing.
2. click on > start > Control Panel > printers.
3. click on add a printer
4. Select local printer
5. Select create a new port and select Standard TCP/IP Port, and click Next.
6. under device type, select TCP/IP Device. Under the name of host or IP address, enter the IP address of the printer. Click Next.
7. Select Hewlett-Packard in the list of manufacturers and select and select your printer model. Click Next.
If your printer model is not in the list, then select disk provided, browse the CD that came with your HP printer and select the first file begins with hp and ending with INF. click Open, then OK. Select your printer model. Click Next.
8. If prompted, use the driver that is currently installed.
9. He will ask the name of the printer - enter a new name or use the one existing. This will be the name of the printer that you select from other applications.
10. we may ask you to share the printer. Choose No.
11. the printing area of Test Page is displayed. Go ahead and print it out.
12. click on finish. -

This means that you can connect to your WiFi network at home without big problems?
This indicates that s laptop WiFi connection works correctly.I put t know what Satellite Pro, you have exactly, but have you checked if you can update the WLan driver?
What happens if you change the Wlan standard? (802.11 a / B / G or N)
