I would really like to see a REAL answer as to the cause of the majority of the questions posted about the USB error outside the usual "restore your settings, use your restore disk, unplug it, replace your USB key, etc etc etc. HEY! MICROSOFT! SOLVE THE PROBLEM! OR, Hey, here's an idea, a news for you, I'm sure that... don't they exude products until they have been tested (NO! I mean really, fully tested [see XBox 360 RROD])

  (a) click Start (for Windows XP) or the Windows Logo (for Windows Vista and 7), and then click run. The run window opens.

  (b) in the Open box, type services.msc, and then click OK. The Services window opens.

  (c) to seek the 'Plug-and-Play services' and check if the status is started.

  (7) uninstall and reinstall the printer software.
