I have a wifi connection but when I try to access internet, I get "could not find the requested server" - no idea how to solve this problem.  NB I use BT home hub 2 - thank you

Open your browser and click on the Menu button > Options.

Scroll down to clear browsing data and clear items history, Cookies, Cache, content driven.

Then do a simple reboot on the BlackBerry this way: with smart BlackBerry poweredphone, remove the battery for a minute and then reinsert the battery to restart.

Now, try to use your browser again.

    Hello

The first two things to try are to restart your computer and perform a battery on your BlackBerry pull - while the device is on, remove the battery for 15-30 seconds, then reinsert and wait for the device to reboot.

Who help me? If this is not the case, after return as there are has a few other things we can try.

  • Internet problem overseas 9360 blackBerry Smartphones

Hi, I often visit Ukraine and when I'm there and use a local sim then I can't get my phone to pick up Internet. Why would it be? Other brands of phones is Samsung, Iphone etc works perfectly there. Can someone please help?

This helps a little, Yes... Thank you.

I wasn't talking to one of your home network services in my suggestions above... rather only to those that are provided when you use the SIM card Ukrainian (including calls, voicemail and SMS provided by that carrier, not your carrier of HIS House).

From what you describe, you cannot hope for BIS in Ukraine services unless you are on WiFi with your home SIM inserted. I don't know why it works on some WiFi networks and not on others... If it works on one, but not others, then that would indicate a problem with the WiFi networks rather than the device.

I recommend you to install (while you welcome in SA) opera on your BB. So, when in Ukraine, try to use it for navigation through the Web of life as long as web WiFi. See what's happening. Opera doesn't need all the exclusive services BB of any carrier to operate... the native BB browser often requires that these services to work correctly.

Your SMS question on life - you need to talk to them as it is a service provided by their network.

    Good luck!

  • Unable to connect to the gsm network blackBerry smartphones

I've got bb 8320I think it's the phone from t-mobile usa, but I'm not sure. I would use this phone with the local water supplier. But a mobile network does not come when I rolled local sim. Under 'mepd' I see that sim has been detected and all services (SIM, NETWORK...) are disabled. I tried mep2 but nothing came of it. MEP2 does not work. Can U give me an idea?

    (1) is my phone locked or not? Why mep2 does not at all?

    (2) why mobile GSM network does not?

    It's a really stupid question.

    The answer is

    1. it is an unlocked phone. There's a reason why mep2 does not come and network under mepd is disabled

2 / manage mobile/network connections / changed on YOU. The phone works fine. I am able to make calls.

    Hi MaeKan

On BlackBerry 7 devices, BlackBerry ID is deeply integrated into our device, this is the main key for many applications on your devices. On your device Homescreen go to Options > device > BlackBerry ID > press the Menu key > click on Check for Updates if updates are available, if it will download on your device.

Like you have several problem with your device, please try these steps in a sequence:

1 - Save your pocket computer.

    • (Wait an Enrollment Message arrives in your Inbox for each email that you have configured on your device)

    3. and then do a restart of battery like that pull while the device is powered on remove your battery wait for a min. then reinsert back

Once you did try BBM to see if it allows access. Or perhaps reinstall the BlackBerry Messenger application using the same method as mention earlier.

Hello and welcome to the community!

I suggest the following, in order, even if they seem redundant to what you have already tried (steps 1 and 2, each should result in a message to your BB to come...) Please wait for this before moving on to the next step):

    (2) Service reference books

    • KB02830 Send the directories for the BlackBerry Internet Service
    • Please wait "the Activation' Messages, one per already configured e-mail account, arrive in your Messages. If you have not already configured email accounts, please wait 1 hour.

    (3) restart to take batt

    • Each time a random strange behavior or slow creeps, the first thing to do is a battery pop reboot. With power ON, remove the hood back and remove the battery. Wait a minute, then replace the battery and cover. Power on and wait patiently through the long reboot - about 5 minutes. See if things return to functioning. Like all computing devices, BB suffers from memory leaks and others... with a hard reboot is the best remedy.

I hope that will move things again for you! If not, then you contact your mobile provider for formal support... After all, it's their network with which your BB is to have trouble communicating.

BB is a device, RIM is the company that manufactures the BBs), your support channel always starts with your carrier... they have the power to escalate your case in RIM free of charge for the user end... There is no other way by which you can receive free formal support from the RIM... actually, these forums are not similarly supported RIM , but rather to the users.

  • Not have blackBerry smartphones to connect to internet

I realized that my phone is unable to connect to the internet, even if I am able to send and receive emails from my phone and my wifi connection is fine. I tried to take the battery, return service directories to my phone and I also went to the registry option in the host routing table but does not change every time that I try to use the Web browser. It loads for a while and then the message "unable to connect to the internet, try again later appears. Is there anything else I should do? Thank you!

Hello and welcome to the community!

From your post, I can't tell if you do them in the order required... or know if every successful step as they should before moving on to the next step. So, with a strong carrier signal AND your WiFi radio OFF, I suggest the following steps, in order, even if they seem redundant to what you have already tried (steps 1 and 2, each should result in a message to your BB to come...) Please wait for this before moving on to the next step):

  • BlackBerry Blackberry Smartphones will not allow apps to connect to internet.

    Hey!

I have the 9000 "BOLD", and I have installed Whatsapp on it,

Start of my phone, I get the message: "the Whatsapp application attempted to open an external connection, which is not allowed by your policy."

I tried to change the permissions to Whatsapp, but some of them are grey (those that are grayed out are: network, Internet Server, input simulation, browser filtering and security reset of the counter)

Does anyone know how to fix this?

    Hello

So I think there is a strategy IT already enabled on your device which does not enable these features, so solve your problem first make a backup of your device using Desktop software or refer to this Article How to backup your BlackBerry

Once you have your backup follow this Knowledge Base and put it back to factory setting, it will disable or delete any policy within your device:

KB31291  :   How to reset a BlackBerry smartphone to factory using BlackBerry Desktop Software Settings

After a reset using your BlackBerry ID and for restoring your backup, choose a selective restore. Restore only your Contacts, calendar, etc. do not perform a full restore otherwise these COMPUTER strategies that you deleted can re-partner and you must perform these steps again. Do not restore any application, install a fresh copies of each world of BlackBerry.

    Try it and tell us.

  • BlackBerry Torch 9860 smartphones does not connect with the pc via the USB port.

We have a new Torch 9860 which does not connect with a PC via the USB port.  What should do?

    SlaKir wrote:

    The answer is YES

Well, then your USB port is likely.

Restart the PC and BlackBerry (with smart BlackBerry power onthe phone, remove the battery for a minute and then reinsert the battery to restart).

Then, connect with the USB cable and a rear main USB port at the back of the PC, not a front USB port.

Hear a ringing or sound from the PC indicating that the BlackBerry is connected?

Start the BlackBerry Desktop Manager software. Give it a minute to recognize the connected BlackBerry device... you see the code PIN of BlackBerry on the PC in the BlackBerry Desktop software?
