connection Keyring

I was watching the keychain in Keychain Access logon and there are more than 500 key signature imessage looks demi-prive and half public. My question is - is this normal? I've only used messageing text 10 or so times.

Hello

This has come up before.

It seems that it varies from one person to another, but it is unclear why this is so.

Basically, it's normal.

  • Broken connection Keyring

From a few days ago my iPhone started to ask me for my iCloud account login info.  Weird because I had not changed anything.  When I use my correct login it does not work.  More strange.  Then my office began popping up windows access request adressbooksourcesync to use the "bunch of connection" and the same thing com.apple.icoloudhelper.

    acountsd

    calendar agent

    cloudpiard

    callhistorypluginhelper

and a bunch more. Any request for login keychain. But the opening of door-key code does not work and they will not stop.

Now it's starting on my laptop as well.  I tried to change my password to iCloud. I tried my original Keychain password. I tried to type in "Password" in desperation (JK) nothing seems to work.

Suddenly mail is frozen and will not force them to leave. A bunch of my apps are suspended until beginning middle and not quiting. I ran a virus scan and found nothing, but it seems of course something that went terribly wrong all of a sudden.

Does anyone else know this? Anyone who has a solution?

    A

The first step is to get rid of your software "anti-virus" worthless as instructed by the developer. Never install something like this even once.

    B

Please take these steps to resynchronize the iCloud keychain. Your keychain on iCloud and other Apple devices will be unaffected. Take step 2 only if step 1 does not resolve the problem.

    Step 1

    Back up all data.

Open the iCloud preferences window and uncheck the box for Keychain. You will be prompted to delete the keychain local iCloud. Confirm - the data will remain on the servers. Then re-check the box. Follow one of the procedures described in this article to support to implement the iCloud Keychain on an additional device. Test.

    Step 2

If your problems persist, uncheck the keychain again and continue.

Triple-click on the line below on this page to select, then copy the text to the Clipboard by pressing Control-C key combination:

    ~/Library/Keychains

    In the Finder, select

Go ▹ go to the folder...

from the menu bar and paste it into the box that opens by pressing command + V. You won't see what you pasted a newline being included. Press return.

A folder named "Key ring" should open. Inside, it is a subfolder with a similar long names (but not the same as) that:

    421DE5CA-D745-3AC1-91B0-CE5FC0ABA128

The above is only an example; your will have a different name for the same general shape. Drag the subfolder (not the key ring file) to the trash and empty.

Restart the computer and re - activate iCloud keychain.

  • Cannot connect to more than one mail account after the upgrade to Sierra

I have several provided ISP e-mail accounts that work successfully for a long time on elCapitan.  After the upgrade to Sierra this afternoon cannot connect all accounts and I asks me to enter the password.  Why isn't Sierra pick up the passwords of my trousseau?

Oddly enough, my Hotmail account seems to be ok.

How can I fix this without having to re - enter all passwords?

As a result of the foregoing, I found that my connection Keyring contains entries for all of my email accounts.  However, these dates are back in July 2011.

After an episode of lost or stolen iphone, I had to update all of my passwords by e-mail in February this year (2016).

Search in my keychain, I found dated entries for my email accounts in iCloud Keychain section.  I don't think that I never activated iCloud for my email.

How the entires of e-mail account eventually sub iCloud and why the old entries from email account not updated?

  • Accountsd using local products

I installed Sierra Tuesday.  Since that time when I log in, I have a popup that says accounts wants to use Keychain 'local products '.  No way to stop that and why is he lightweight pop up?

    Thank you

    Hello Monty Trofel,
Thank you for using communities of Apple Support.

I understand your message after updating your Mac on macOS Sierra you are now being invited to use Keychain whenever you log in. I recommend to use the steps in the following article to resolve this problem:

If your Mac keeps asking for the password in the keychain

After you or your administrator Mac resets the password of your OS X user account, your Mac may ask you to update your Keychain password or enter your login Keychain password. He could also tell you the system was unable to unlock your login keychain. It's because your login keychain still use your old password.

If you do not know your old password, the solution is to create a new login keychain.

If you know your old password, use this password to update your existing connection Keyring:

    1. Open the Keychain Access application, located in the Utilities folder of the Applications folder.
    2. On the Edit menu, choose "Change password for Keychain 'login'."
    3. Enter the old password of your user account in the current password field. This is the password you were using until the password has been reset.
    4. Enter the new password for your user account password. This is the password that you are using now to connect to your Mac. Enter the same password in the field of verification.
    5. Click OK when finished, then quit Keychain Access.

    Best regards.

My MacBook Pro El Capitan has boxes on screen-"com.apple.iCloudHelper.xpc", "cloudd", "MessagesAgent", "accountsd" with the ball spinning and I can't use my computer as these boxes want a 'keyring', and I don't recognize any of this. Help, please. Thank you.

    Hello T.W. Macaroni.

Welcome to the communities of Apple Support!  Looks like you are having problems connecting to your computer administrator user account.  (A 'Keychain' is a password management system).  Have you recently made changes to your computer (update your operating system, download any software, no password)?  The files above to indicate your computer tries to launch applications like iCloud, Messages, etc.

The first thing I would say is to restart your computer.  It sounds simple, but it can be a very easy solution.  If this does not work, restart your computer again, but this time hold down the SHIFT key.  It's what we call a safe mode.   If your computer starts in safe mode without these error messages, then restart again in normal mode (without pressing any key).

Try safe mode if your Mac does not end commissioning

If none of these two basic troubleshooting steps work, you may need to enter a new password of your login keychain.  Follow the steps in the resource below:

If your Mac keeps asking for the password in the keychain

After you or your administrator Mac resets the password of your OS X user account, your Mac may ask you to update your Keychain password or enter your login Keychain password. 5. Click OK when finished, then quit Keychain Access.

T.W. Macaroni, if you continue to have problems connecting to your computer, please reply to this message and we will study further with you.

    Take care.

  • Impossible to be re - connect my iMac to my iCloud account

Hello. My iMac has been connected to my iCloud account, but apparently there is a bug somewhere I so disconnected icloud and agreed that all data belonging to my iCloud data (e-mail, calendar, contacts, etc.) could be wiped clean from the iMac. After the reboot of the iMac, I checked Mail forgot the associated e-mail account, he had, I checked that FileVault was still 'OFF' on this iMac, it was. I tried to re - login to my iCloud account. Preferences > iCloud. I have indicated my account iCloud and password, authentication double (which I activated there) sent a request for consent to my iPhone and iPad, I approved the connection of the iMac. Then I got on the iPhone and the iPad a 6 digit iMac asked me to enter code. I entered the 6-digit code, then the iMac again asked my password to iCloud. I entered my password iCloud on the iMac. Then, and this is where I do not understand. A splash screen for iCloud opened on the iMac "your iCloud, data are protected by your iCloud security code. To access your iCloud data, enter your iCloud security code", followed by a request to enter a four-digit code.

I have no this 4 digit code. FireVault is always "off" on this iMac, I checked. As far as I know, I have four numbers on the iPhone and iPad security codes and here only, not on the iMac, where I use a [plu] password to access my account. It is an iMac Mac OS 10.11.6, not an iPad or an iPhone.

I send you this question through Safari on my MacBook Pro (OS10.11.6) which is my first mac, that is still connected to my iCloud account and there's no bug.

What should I enter? What should I do? TIA

First of all, please make sure that you do not confuse the password to unlock your iPhone and the security code that you use to iCloud Keychain. It is the latter that controls your synchronization of e-mail account on all your Apple devices. To change your security code on an iOS device, tap Settings > iCloud > Keyring > advanced > change security code. The following Apple's Support document may explain what is happening with your iMac: If you register your iCloud Security Code wrong too many times - Apple Support.

FileVault and his password is something unrelated, because this material is so the password allows you to connect an and use the user account of your iMac.

I know that the proliferation of codes and passwords is a subject of confusion. Until a better method comes, it may seem that its only purpose is to conspire against you and prevents you from using your Apple devices. If you don't get anywhere, start here: http://appleid.apple.com. Sign in with your Apple ID credentials, check under Security and featuresinformation and verify that all information is correct.

If everything on these pages seems correct, I suggest that you continue with this site: Apple ID - official Apple Support. Scroll to the bottom of the page, where you will find a button called "get Support" under the heading "help me with Apple ID". Until it clicks. That will load a page with the title "what is happening with your Apple ID".

The most applicable to your concern is "Other Apple ID Topics" that will lead to more options. One of them will allow to contact Apple directly. Let them make things right. Be patient with them, since your ID Apple is literally the key to security of your account and they will have to establish positively that your identity before attaching everything is false.

  • How safe are keychain and Keyring iCloud?

I've saved my passwords to connect the old way: with a pencil on paper. But the list becomes too long and cumbersome to use. Rather than using third-party solutions like 1Password or LastPass, I thought to use the Apple solution: Keychain. I guess the local keyring on my Mac is safe because I use FileVault. But sure iCloud keychain? Is it encrypted? Apple or other parties (e.g. Government, pirates) would be able to get easy access to passwords stored in iCloud? Would it not be better to entrust to Apple with our passwords, rather than the developers of third party applications?

In addition, if safe and secure, how would turn on iCloud keychain? Once activated, it would work on the platforms, OS X and iOS?

    Thank you.

Ok. It took me a few months to understand this, but I post this info for other Mac users who was struggling. The culprit is the keychain. Keychain is inhibiting the passwords of Dreamweaver. Don't ask me why... all I know is after I emptied the login Keyring (which was hidden, by the way), everything was restored to goodness and health and Dreamweaver works as it did formerly.

  • How can I connect my 1Connectez 1st generation iPod (original iPod) to a laptop

I have an original iPod and it has a screen old port how to connect it to a laptop and they don't have these kind of show ports more

Not sure what you mean by "display port"...  The dock connector of the original iPod (2001) is a FireWire port.  You really have an original 1st gen iPod, with a (not key or click) scroll wheel that physically turns a circle?  Looks like this

If so, it can connect to a computer equipped with a FireWire port .  To do this, not to connect to a USB port.  There are "scam" products that claim to be a USB-to-FireWire adapter cable, but they don't work; they can even cause damage to the iPod if used.  FireWire and USB work very differently (and even use different power supply voltages); You cannot connect them just by changing the shape of the connector.

If your computer is a Mac (no FireWire port) with a Thunderbolt port, Apple sells a Thunderbolt-to-FireWire adapter.  On a Windows PC, to connect to the 1st (or 2nd) gen iPod, you add an expansion card of a certain type that provides an actual FireWire interface.  For more details, please provide more information on your situation.
