Connection of two curved lines seamlessly

Screen Shot 2015-06-23 at 6.43.15 PM.png

I have trouble getting a line segment that is perfectly aligned with the two lines. The line to the left of the left white bar is part of the text, and I drew a line winding and draped to the right of the White right sidebar. I can't, for the life of me, not them connected smoothly. I am using the pen tool, and it just doesn't work. Did I do or am I out of luck?

Kitty,

Assuming that you have two paths filled ending near the white bars and assuming that you have (or will) delete track segments end so that you have some paths opened independent, formerly forming borders, and assuming you spend filling in line to see what you do, for each of these outlines path limit sets to be connected You can, Smart Guides are your friends:

(1) ClickDrag during the end of the anchor of the first path you want to shoot with the direct Selection tool, so you can see both the anchor and the handles;

(2) with the tool line Segment, the handle out to the second boundary road ClickDrag (Smart Guides say manipulate) in the anchor ( anchorcommented for example); It's your first guide line;

(3) ClickDrag over the end of the second Anchor Point path you want to attract on the direct Selection tool, so you can see both the anchor and the handles;

(4) with the line Segment, the handle ClickDrag tool is, away from the first boundary road (Smart Guides say manipulate) in the anchor ( anchorcommented for example); It is your second line guide;

(5) with the pen tool, start with ClickDragging from the end of the anchor of the first path to the end of the first line of guide (Smart Guides say anchor), and then draw it any way you want in the meantime and eventually ClickDragging to the end of the anchor Point of the second track at the end of the second line of guide (Smart Guides say anchor);

(6) delete the guidelines.

This should ensure that you get a smooth at both ends without changing the adjacent original parts.

    Hello

    It is necessary to create the VPN connection.

    You have Windows XP Professional where your printer is installed and connected?

    If so, you can create VPN server in Windows XP Professional PC, wherever your printer is connected. Here's how:

    http://www.zdnetasia.com/configure-Windows-XP-Professional-to-be-a-VPN-server-39050037.htm

    Then, you need to configure modem ADSL (corresponding to your printer) - set port forwarding for port 1723 (PPTP) to the computer with the VPN server.

    You have to find your public IP address of the network where is installed printer - you can see in the ADSL modem (from configuration pages WWW) or open this page in the computer where is installed your printer:

    http://www.whatismyip.com/

    and you will see your public IP address.

    Then what to do – change one different internal subnet network - if one network has 10.0.0.0/24 second network must have another network addressing, for example, 10.0.10.0/24.

    And now set up connection on the computer you want to print - create the VPN connection to connect to the VPN server:

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/314076/en

    item 11. -write the public IP address.

    Name and password - use the user and the password of computer with WinXP Pro VPN server, which has the permition to incoming VPN connections.

    After successfully completing the VPN connection - click on Start - run and write \\x.x.x.x , where x.x.x.x is the IP address of the computer with printer and click OK. You'll see printers and shared files. Choose the printer share name and click on the name - the printer will install the drivers and then you can print a test page to the printer print test.

  • Connectivity between two nodes of Virtual Box

    For a few days, I try to establish the network connectivity between two nodes OEL (Oracle Enterprise Linux) in Oracle Virtualbox. I tried everything I have found Google, but still nothing works, everytime I try to ping from one node to another node Hostname/IP is showing unknown host. All the advice everyone here will be great for me.

    When you create a virtual machine, by default VirtualBox allows virtual network card and selects the "Network Address Translation" (NAT) mode for it. In this way the guest can connect to the outside world using the networking of the host and the outside world can connect to services on the feedback that you choose to make visible outside of the virtual machine.

    This default configuration is good probably 95% of users of VirtualBox. VirtualBox is, however, extremely flexible in how it can virtualize networks. It supports multiple virtual NICs per virtual machine, the first four that can be configured in detail in the Manager window. Additional network cards can be configured on the command-line with VBoxManage.

  • Connect the two spreadsheets through a pl/sql function registered

    Hello
    Need help to connect the two worksheets using a stored function.

    Step 1:
    Created a function * (test_global) Pl/SQL * in which a table * (TWG) global * is inserted with lines based on criteria (via a call to a pl/sql procedure packed).
    The function returns the number of rows in the global table or 0 if no row is returned.
    The TWG was created using "On Commit preserve rows.

    Step 2:
    The function test_global has been saved to the Finder via the "PL/SQL functions to register.

    Step 3:
    Create a spreadsheet calculation - & gt; Sheet1 and included a Calculation (calc_global) that calls the test_global function.

    Step 4:
    Add another sheet of calculation - & gt; Sheet2 based on a query to select lines in the TWG where calc_global & gt; 0

    Step 5:
    Refreshed Sheet1 - & gt; displays the number of rows as * 5119 *.
    Refreshed Sheet2 - & gt; takes some time to run but returns no data

    Tried to:
    ) a calc_global link on Sheet1 with the help of sheet 2 links management, this does not work either
    (b) changed using the Pragma autonomous transaction function; gives an error that says no data returned by 1 sheet Sheet2.

    Please help with a solution, it seems that there are data in the TWG at the time Sheet1 is running need to display data in the sheet2 worksheet.

    Thanks in advance
    SP

    Hello

    You need to call test_global function once on Sheet1 that fit lines within the TWG. In Sheet2, you simply select the TWG and do not have the conditions of anywhere in this form. Try to run Sheet2 without calc_global > 0.

  • Is it possible for a line chart display curved lines between the points?

    We have a demand interesting to build a line chart in OBIEE, where the points on the graph are connected by curved lines instead of the normal straights. The best way to describe it would be "serpentine". I saw this in a Cognos report, but I do not know if OBIEE for this. Maybe a setting in line.pcxml? Any ideas?

    Currently, we do not provide the organizational chart. Both options, you have to connect the dots in a line chart are either via a straight line or a curve of the step. A curved line would essentially be a form of a spline, with suitable smoothing algorithms.

  • My verse ATT modem (non apple devices to use this modem} is connected to the ATT line, Time Capsule (iPhones, Macs Time Capsule use) via ethernet Uverse.) Non apple devices can collect data from iPhones or Mac using the time Capsule?

    My verse ATT modem ({use of devices not apple wifi of this modem} is connected to the ATT line, Time Capsule (iPhones, Macs use the wifi of the time Capsule) and connect to the Uverse modem via ethernet.)

    Both devices are set to the highest security and each uses separate passwords.

    Non apple devices can collect data from iPhones or Mac using the time Capsule?

    With a bit of work by someone who knows how to do such things, not Apple computers could read some files on the Mac if file sharing is configured on the network... devices non-Apple and... He knew the device passwords or administrator for Macs.

    Mac could also play the files on other Macs if file sharing has been implemented and the device password or admin was known.

    If you ask if a PC can read the files on the Time Capsule, the answer is Yes, without doubt, assuming that the PC knew the password of device for the time Capsule.

  • Can damage the FPGA module if I connect accidentally two pins writing together.

    My current configuration has a PXI chassis with two FPGA modules.  Each FPGA module has an adaptation Module 6581 on that.  I would like to test the signal through my system path by having the user to move some cables that would be a reason for a return to the other looping FPGA.

    I fear, however, the risk of the user is not correctly as shown and somehow a channel available in writing that connects to another channel write-enabled.  This damage to the FPGA or adaptation modules?

    Hi Brian,.

    Your concerns are correct. We never want to connect two pins that are output voltage. If two pins are outputs digital mistakenly connecting them together may damage one or both nodes in output since there is nowhere to flow the potential.

    It is well to connect to two pins that read a voltage. If both pins running entry digital (reading of the pins), as there is no risk, nor pin would be likely to be damaged.

  • Two vertical lines on my LCD screen

    Please, help me...

    Two vertical lines about 2 inches, width is one black and one white.

    They appear on my lcd screen in the middle of the left since the start. Always in the same position.

    Later, when the desktop appears, we the black remains black and a white becames an occasional color (or a combination of several mobile colors).

    I tried to use an external monitor, and I didn't have the problem.

    I tried with 'doctor test' PC hardware, but all the tests have been adopted.

    I would understand if the problem is the video driver, the LCD, the joint between the GPU and the motherboard, or the lcd. If the GPU is the problem, can I replace it without changing the motherboard or not?

    My PC is Thinkpad R60 9461-DXG and he is 2 years old.

    My BIOS version is 7CETD2WW (2.22)

    My OS is Windows XP pro SP3.

    My GPU is ATI Radeon X 1400

    My version of the video driver is 8.442.3.0 03/01/2008

    You can try replacing the cable of the screen first, then if that doesn't work the LCD.

    The manual on how to do these replacement is here.
