    Keep in mind that if the person seeking assistance uses a router (instead of connecting directly to the modem), then you will need to redirect port configuration.  The request when she sends uses the IP address of his computer, but that the IP is not always accessible to the public.  For example, IP address of my PC is 192.168.0.4 (the 4th computer on my network at the present time), and this address cannot be used to connect to my PC.  You know my public IP address, so, I need the configuration of port forwarding to direct your incoming connection to my public address during my internal IP address (called traversal NAT, or network address translation).

    There is a reason, I generally recommend free tools that use HTTP transport instead, like Team Viewer app free (for personal use).

  • BlackBerry cannot accept the connection via the Mobile network?

    Hi all, on Blackberry, I want to open a server socket to listen to a connection come from other devices.

    Here is my code:

    String url = "socket://:12345;deviceside=true";
    ServerSocketConnection scn = (ServerSocketConnection) Connector.open(url);
    SocketConnection sc = (SocketConnection) scn.acceptAndOpen();

    Mobile network on that BB is ok, but it cannot accept any connection.

    I also use its mobile phone network to connect to other servers, it works fine when it's the client socket.

    I tried with the Wifi network, and it works very well.

    String url = "socket://:12345;interface=wifi";
    ServerSocketConnection scn = (ServerSocketConnection) Connector.open(url);
    SocketConnection sc = (SocketConnection) scn.acceptAndOpen();

    In my view, Network Service Mobile prevented so that other devices connect to it, is it true?

    Please explain it to me, thank you very much!

    This approach only works for mobile connections, when the data are pushed to the device.  You cannot use it to connect to other phones directly.  Sorry

  • Connection via Port COM for Nokia 6288

    Hi, I am a newbie.

    I just got the Hama usb bluetooth key small ultra 2 with the toshiba bluetooth stack.
    My cell phone is a nokia 6288 am I have a laptop from another manufacturer

    My software retrieves data from weather stations by modem. I managed to connect the phone as COM5 USB cable.
    The transmission of weatherdata works very well by ATDT [mobile phone number].
    To facilitate the transmission when I'm on the road, I bought the usb bluetooth key.
    I also managed to connect it like COM8 and software can initiate a connection via ATDT [mobile PHONE number];

    But the transmission does not work without the semicolon, the dial the same telephone doesn´t.
    I don't know where the problem is maybe like the works of transmission when it is connected by a USB cable.

    Can anyone help?

  • How to connect my Windows 7 PC to Internet via Bluetooth on my Windows Mobile 6.1 phone?

    I have problems connecting to the Internet on my laptop under that Windows 7, Bluetooth, plugged in on my mobile phone running Windows Mobile 6.1.

    The phone is a Samsung Omnia GT-B7610 and can access the Internet via 3G.

    I can pair the phone with Windows 7 via Bluetooth without problem, but I cannot yet access the Internet on the PC.  The process I use is:

    -Pairing phone and your PC by selecting devices and printers > add a device, etc., etc.  The device is successfully added.
    -Network and Sharing Center > set up a new connection or network > connect to Internet > set up a new connection anyway > Dial-up.  It is supposed to be a Bluetooth option on this screen, but I did not.

    When I do this:
    Devices and printers > right click on the paired Bluetooth device > properties > Services tab, I see that Active Sync Bluetooth Service as the only service available.  Is this correct?

    In addition, I can't get Windows Mobile Device Center to connect/sync to the phone via Bluetooth.

    Any help is very appreciated!

    Hi Kiti, thanks for the reply.  I had just a little work there is, however I came across a program that makes it much easier: WMWifiRouter.  I highly recommend it!

  • Stack of Windows Mobile 6 and BT-> how to set up PC-> PDA-> Internet connection

    Hello

    My configuration: another laptop manufacturing with TrueMobile 350 (Toshiba stack)
    and a PDA Windows Mobile 6 PocketPc (Phone Edition) (TyTn)

    I would use my PDA as a server of PAN to use its internet connection with my laptop (PC-> PDA-> Internet. I combined the two devices, but when I activated the Internet sharing on my PDA I have no function on my laptop to access the PAN, created by the PDA.

    "Auto-discovery is the only way to implement the services. However, the PAN service does not appear unless the devices are paired.

    Toshiba can only pair with devices seen in the discovery... "

    Hello

    Have you already checked this Toshiba Bluetooth 'FAQ' and 'How to' area?

    You will find HOW TO useful documents e.g. on:

    Maybe you'll find some useful tips.

  • Portege M700 - 3 G-connection via Novatel & T-Mobile

    Hello
    My M700 is around the age of 12 months and now I tried to connect via a 3G connection to the internet. The build-in 3G connection manager Novatel (called MobiLink) offers 3 pre-installed configurations, none of them work for my T-Mobile SIM card.

    I can't find any clues (Toshiba or Novatel or T-Mobile) how to set up a working connection. I try to create a new profile, but have no idea on demand "APN:" or other necessary parameters.

    Is there anyone with experience on these issues with a useful suggestion?
    I know that my T-Mobile card user-number and the ANKLE associated with the SIM card.

    Thanks in advance,
    Peter

    Hi Riedel,

    If I were you I talk with T-Mobile and ask what APN you should use. A digital CAMERA is basically a string that you enter to dictate the software to connect to (e.g. TMobile), T-Mobile will be able to tell you what APN you must try to connect to usually.

    Good luck

  • Satellite A660 - 11 M - unable to connect to the Windows Mobile 6.1 smartphone

    I can't connect my phone (sony ericsson experia x 1) to my Windows 7 laptop. When I'm connecting via toshiba bluetooth stack configuration, it shows me an error "connection was refused by the PAN Server [name of the my phone]. I tried to change some options in the bluetooth stack, but it has been unseccesfull.

    I'm sure that there is no problem with my phone, because I can connect at any time to Windows XP on the laptop of another.

    See the how-to document
    "How to connect PC to internet via Bluetooth using a Windows Mobile 6 phone".

    It describes your problem, and proposes the following:

    Resolution:
    * Check if your Windows mobile phone is always connected to the internet.
    * Make the Internet sharing connection once again.

  • Problem connecting Bluetooth with Windows Mobile Device Center

    Hello

    I have and HTC Snap with WM 6.1 I want to connect to my Satellite P500 running Windows 7 to be able to move the files by using Windows Mobile Device Center.

    I know that this device can talk to this laptop via bluetooth, because there are some utilities bluetooth Toshiba that I can use to get a connection.

    However, even if the Toshiba utility recognizes my bluetooth device, but WMDC is not. WMDC recognises my device when it is connected with a USB cable.

    I don't know about the drvupdate-amd64 download which I think is necessary with WMDC but when I run what it looks like all it does is try to install a device driver for a device that is 'unknown '. I get a message at the end that driver could not be installed.

    I have run out of ideas on how to get these things to work. Someone at - it a similar experience?

    Could this be a problem of COM port? My Bluetooth device to 40 com affected Toshiba stack I don't see a COM 40 in the WMDC, just a port identified as "Bluetooth" settings

  • Windows 7 will not recognize or sync Pocket PC which is connected via usb

    Hello

    I am trying to sync my Pocket PC data (Pal my ASUS a686) on my computer (Windows 7 Enterprise). I think that if you had Windows XP, we would use Active Sync. However, it's windows 7, so I think that I use Windows Mobile Device Center. In fact, I used the center of the device before, but it has been a week to try to download the data again and it no longer works. He is very picky. But we need our data and cannot wait for the day that he decided to download.
    So I uninstalled the center of the device (the tip of a chat room) and now I can not re - load it. However, before I even uninstalled, the problem returning to the top, it was my computer does not recognize the device connected via usb.
    Code 43 continues to come does not recognize this device. And yet it is plugged. I keep trying to restart, plug the unit in different orders, send good energy, etc.
    I did a soft reboot of the pocket pc the last time, but that makes you lose all data on the pocket pc and we cannot lose this data. Finally, it is for the eco-counter software. When it worked, I hit the sync button and the data were downloaded. Now... He says just connect me please my pocket pc when it is connected. Why!
    Thank you
    Cole

    On the Pocket PC, try going to "start |" Settings | Connections | USB to PC"and unchecking the checkbox"Enable advanced network functionality. "

    I recently reinstalled one of our Terminal Server Windows Server 2003 (64-bit) servers.
    When you connect via RDP, I get 2 mouse pointers. One seems to be the pointer to the session that changes of hourglass, etc... and the pointer remains under the arrow.

    I have all the updates that are installed.
    There is no options on the RDP settings like what I use on other RDP to the other Terminal server sessions and is not on any other I RDP server on my client.

    I connected as other RDP clients and get with the same problem, is not a customer number
    Is there a setting on the server to disable this option?

    How can I remove the pointer that does not change in the session?

  • Yesterday Windows Vista installed a new set of updates and now my phone Windows Mobile will be is more synchronized with the computer via a USB cable. It was working perfectly before the update.

    I went through the entire list of solutions for troubleshooting a connection cable with no luck.  The Windows Mobile Device Center simply doesn't even recognize that the phone is connected.  I used several cables with no success.

    Do system restore and then again perform updates, come back with updates which is at the origin of the problem
