constant crashes into first elements 7

Elements was crashing constantly and most embarrassing sometimes. Since I've updated my audio driver accidents are less common but still often occur when rendering and exporting. I have a good computer that processed items with ease on previous occasions, but now I have this problem, I am aware that nothing could someone tell me what may happened, my project settings exactly match the media used, so I don't think that's the problem.

I understand. I often confused between my PrPro and PE. The term "Action" is not used in PrPro. Back in my 2.0 PrPro, one could 'Export' and then had a couple of choices, film or through SOUL (Adobe Media Encoder). Each of these offer many settings and controls.

When I saw the first EP, I went to export and was surprised how much was there. I was expecting it to be like PrPro. Then Steve Grisetti showed me the large tab to share large, and I understand my problem - terminology and location.

Many people appear on a PE environment from PrPro forum and ask where is the tab share. Few people on this forum know even what they're talking about.

Happy that we were able to iron out, and you're on the track you in the "stretch."

Happy editing,

  • Crash of first elements 12 connecting to the source of DV

    Hello

I hope I can find help here. Tried lots of things but nothing works.

I have first 12 items and use the software to capture DV to my DataVideo DAC200 (DAC100 MKII) signal. Never had a problem with my system. It worked perfect all the time so far and I don't know why.

If the unit is running and connected to a firewire card in my desktop PC. Normal, first sees the device and video signal, he gives. But now, when I open the video capture screen it hangs. Sometimes, I see that he sees the device but most of the time it crashes before I can see the screen.

So I thought that the device was ore broken something, but try with freeware (WinDV) software that worked instantly and I saw the video source. No problem.

When the DV device is off there no problem open the capture window in Premiere Elements. So I was wondering what's going wrong between the first and my device?

I tried several drivers for the FireWire card, even the old driver and even some incompatible drivers. Nothing works with first. But other software (WinDV) has no problem with one of these drivers installed.

I also tried to uninstall first and install again. But the problem is still there. Even tried to delete all the files on my desktop and software Adobe (but some of them are running in adobe software, I can't get to stop...) "But I think that this has nothing to do with the first).

It would be great if someone can help me ore gives me some tips to try.

    Robert.

    Here are some pictures:

    The firewire card:

Thanks for the advice. But I'm not quick with abandon.

If it's working again now. I don't know why, but change two dipswitches for the DataVideo converter does work again. Very strange because the dip switches are sealed and were always in the same position. And it worked without task so far.

Well, I'm glad it still works.

So my lesson here is that when I'm troubleshooting something, not only look at things where there is a possibility that something has changed, but also in things that has always been the same.

  • Constant errors on first Elements 4

When I started this project, I got errors from time to time that would be closed PE4, but in the last days, I can't even render the project unless he stops.  The only error message I get is that something happened and it must be stopped and Windows will look for a solution.  Of course, I don't have solutions Windows about 50 more time I received this message.  I took my computer being extracted because of other problems, but I guess it seems to go well.  I uninstalled and reinstalled the program and I'm always encounter the same problems, but a little less before the computer went, but I can't seem to convert my project into DVD or a computer file.  I mean, I used this forum several times before and it has been extremely helpful.  I thank very you much for all your advice and help.

When you went into MSCONFIG, how many programs/processes have you been able to shut down?

I suggest also running SystemEssentials, especially their Process Explorer. If you can provide us with either the report of Process Explorer, or do some screenshots of what the Task Manager indicates that your programs and processes running, we should be able to find some who can always be disabled, or can see the one that gets in the way.

    Good luck and please report,

  • Importing a .m4v audio is cut at the end first Elements 11

I have videos that were taken with a Nikon d7100 and file is .m4v (exported since the new Apple app Photos) and when you import this file into first elements 11 the end of audio is shifted.

I was recording the end of audio performance and the applause because the number of seconds before the video ends in fact.

It's quite frustrating, I've used this 11 first elements for a few years without and questions.

  • SWF in first Elements 9

I created a .swf file in Flash CS5 on a Macbookpro OS 10.6.4. I tried to import it into first Elements 9 but all I get is a black clip. I also tried the .swf in first Elements 9 on a Dell, Windows 7 operating system computer and got the same black clip. Any help is appreciated!

The FLA is a little like the PREL file pre (PRPROJ file or in PrPro) and the file 'project '. You are correct that it will not import forward and cannot be used in Flash, or similar.

Monday I'll start Flash and see what I can find.

Regarding the CODEC they are mutuality - decoding to import for editing and encoding, and then on Export/Share. This ARTICLE will give you a little more background.

  • First elements keep crashing with the rendering and editing environment!

    Hey

I used adobe first elements 10 a little over a month now. But recently pre began to plant, then I made a video!

I began searching on "Adobe premiere elements 10 crash supply", but has not found an answer. But, I have found that some people had the problem with crash made when the bar reached process 27%, I tried to make twice in a row and notice that my rendering where crashing to 31%!

I really have no idea what could be the problem!

    4g RAM

    3, 20ghz cpu intel

    64 bit

See also this article on PRE to crash, or suspended: http://forums.adobe.com/thread/792580?tstart=0

He begins with a checklist for the pre, then goes into details on the setting of the system and OS, and then goes in the resolution of problems, with links to other articles and also tools to help solve the problem (s). The first part is pretty easy, and then things take "degree of difficulty", as you progress, ending with the case of the unexplained.

    Good luck

How can I disable the first elements adobe from my computer crashed

    Hi Franks,

This probably should have been posted in the Premiere Elements forum, as this forum is a place of social discussion.

However, you can simply install Premiere Elements of the new computer and activate it. If not, then you will need to contact Adobe customer service and use the 'chat' option - they will help reset your activation:

    Contact the customer service

    I hope this helps!

  • Hi, after that I tried to load either a new or existing project into Adobe first Elements 9 I just get a grey white screen with any of the timeline, boxes etc. on the view. It happened suddenly, one day OK then not! At the top of the screen, I get normal

Hi, after that I tried to load either a new or existing project into Adobe first Elements 9 I just get a grey white screen with any of the timeline, boxes etc. on the view. It happened suddenly, one day OK then not! At the top of the screen, I get the normal icon of pre, File, Edit, Clip, etc..

I intend to have bought the first 13 items, it would be better if I bought a new program instead of downloading an upgrade, just in case the upgrade does not correctly load because of the error with my current program?

If I have the deleted first Elements 9 on my PC would I lose all my existing videos that have been produced using Prime Elements 9 or would they be registered so that they can still be worked in first 13 items?

First elements 13 works with Windows 7?

    Thank you

    Terry

First 13 elements absolutely works with Windows 7!

In fact, I highly recommend you download the free trial version and give it a test run.

In the meantime, go to Windows Update and make sure you have all the updates of Windows, including those who do not automatically install it. Then go to the website of ATI / nVidia and ensure that you have the latest driver for your graphics card and go to Apple.com and ensure you have the latest version of Quicktime, by the requirements of the program.

  • A specific point in the video gives first element crash

    Hey

I have a problem that is PISSING ME OFF!

I have a video file recorded with Dxtory, minecraft, and most of the video is very good. Does with errors or crashes in Windows media player.

BUT then I took the video and play, at one point in the video, it blocks first elements, no error message, no point of freezing, just "Adobe premiere has stopped working".

This bug or what ever it is, is a deal with the video file, because I can through the video what ever I want to first elements, and if he doesn't have a Xvid codec, its fine. (Yes I checked if the video file is Xvid and it's not)

I tried to convert the file to mp4 = new show = just audio

I tried to compress the file = problem = elements like Xvid

I tried to run a booster mode, reduce half of the edited video, make the first part without problem = always crashing to the point of 'crash' (if this isn't a memory issue)

Y at - it no great beautiful man with the answer to everything, who can help me please?

    Thank you

Yes the links didn't directly help me with my problem, but they helped with something that could prevent this problem.

The codec-links gave some good information about the weird codec using the Dxtory and also some alternative codecs. I for example will use codecs without loss as an alternative clean "Lagarith lossless codec" or Dxtory´s, called "PackBit codec" and hopfully not having this problem again.

Now, what I did, was like John T Smith said, using another program to change. But what I have, I found the drop point which was in my video, is 00:13:41:26 gone 11sec back up 00:13:30:00 and make a cut, went from 19 sec before the drop point and makes another cut. I then removed the video clip that I did, so I was left with a g 30 sec.

Then I went to Windows Live Moviemaker and made an exact replica of the clip I just removed, rendered the clip moviemaker and placed in the ATM in my project to create items.

It worked fine with no crash! The only down side is these 30 seconds, there is a small decline in quality and a little switch in the sound, but who better than nothing

Thank you both very much for helping me! With the new codec I got of hunts to the links, I will hopefully not encounter this problem again, and if I do, John T Smith helped me with the solution of movie maker.

    Thank you!

  • First Elements 9 crashes on startup

Recently I had this problem with first Elements 9, where it will keep crashing whenever I have load or start a new project. I'll start first Adobe Elements 9 on my computer (Windows 7 Home Premium, 64-bit). I then select new project and create a new project or load an old. After the project loads, it no longer responds. No specific error message gets up, except the one that always comes up when a program is not responding. This message gives me the opportunity to close the program or wait for it to respond. He never responds, so I always close.

I had the program for almost a year now, I got to the end of June last year, and it came with Photoshop Elements 9 and first Elements 9. This problem came last Friday, and I tried a lot of different things to try to fix it. I've updated the program, I checked Quicktime, I updated my video card, I tried to run the program under a different user, I tried to run the program without other applications running, I cleaned and Defrag the drive, and I scanned for viruses. I have also reinstalled the program from my office and I also tried to remove everything related to the program on my computer and reinstall it and so far, nothing has worked.

Here are some details on my computer. I have a Windows 7 Home Premium with a 64-bit operating system. The manufacturer is Dell model Inspiron 580 I have 4 GB of RAM. The I have the processor is Intel (r) Core i5 CPU 750 @ 2.67 GHz. My system with Service Pack 1. There are currently 241 GB free on my hard drive, which has 455 GB.

I tried to recreate the preferences file, but the problem was still there. I decided to retrace my steps of what I did on Friday. I went back to the new user, I created yesterday and opened the first. I looked at all the files I used for the project, that day, and I suddenly realized that among the .mp4 was corrupt, and I don't notice it. I didn't really preview before I put it in the Friday project, so I guess I should have already done. I tried to put it on the project, and of course, it crashed the program. I had found my problem now. I went back on my user and delete the video file damaged, and all of a sudden, pre worked perfectly again. You were good John, the problem had to do with a corrupted .mp4 file. I guess something happened when I was filming or when I put the file on my computer that has corrupted the file, and I guess that I do not notice it. The .mp4 file came from my user, which I suppose is the reason the program has worked on other users, and not mine.

So, the problem is now resolved. Guys thank you very much for helping me with this problem. I'm so relieved now that I can continue to use the program without any problem.

  • First elements 4 crashes on taking title

Hi everyone, hope to find some help here.

I have a Sony Vaio with Win Vista (kept up-to-date at all times).

I just finished a video project of 1 hour and 5 minutes with PRel 4.0, but I can't export the animation.

Reason? Titles of cause outages of continuos.

In video editing, every 3-5 uses first titles went on the crash.

It was hard to finish as the titles are subtitles (the original film is in English and I had to translate in Italian).

But some tests I've done have always been successful it I won't be notified.

I know for sure, the titles are the "bad guys" because troubleshooting sessions, I made a full version of the film

After the removal of all the texts and the process went smoothly and without warnings/problems.

Now, I think it might be a lot of opportunities, but I have found no solution on the web.

I think the most effective solution might be the following:

I can rasterize text? in order to have bitmaps simple foreground instead of vectors could get around the accident.

hypotetic alternatives are more exotic to me (or I guess they are, )

Here are the details of the warning messages, I got Vista after accidents.

(it's in Italian, but it might be easy to understand) If necssary I can translate.

    Thanks in advance

Toshiba have a graphics driver 'closed '. But a Toshiba user has recently released a fix recommended by Toshiba to install a generic driver. He has worked for several owners of Tosh.

    • Get the latest ATI driver on the ATI site. Download the driver, not the detection utility.
    • Create a system restore point
    • IS this the STEP IMPORTANT ---> in Manager device remove the graphics card and restart the machine.
    • When restarting decline all prompts to install a driver.
    • Install the generic driver from ATI.
    • Reset.
    • If it is worked, hooray. If this isn't the case, you can return to your system restore point.

    See you soon,.

Also, I do not work with the video that much, I'm looking for classes or consultation with this product, any suggestions?

    Thank you

    Anita,

First of all, a few thoughts:

1.) have you updated your sound and video drivers later?

2.) you have updated Quick Time Player of Apple?

    3.) have you updated PrE8 8.0.1?

If you answered Yes to all the people, we would probably look a little deeper. This ARTICLE will give you some ideas as to what information would be helpful. More details, the better it is.
