Hello world
I am running a Win7 on an hp w1858 pavilion. My computer became very slow (startup takes a huge time and even my internet browser takes too long to load. I use Google Chrome btw)
I also have Norton Security Suite via Comcast which shows that my system is clean, so I don't really know what the problem is. I would be grateful :) all tips thank you
Yes svchost.exe is eating all your cpu about
Cause the most common was that the windows update system stuck
Please go to start and Panel and Windows updates
On the top left click on change settings update.
Switch to never look for updates,
After the above, restart your machine.
After reboot see if these updates are installed if not install it.

Indicator takes too long to load! How to fix?
I have a question, after I typed my correct login information and try to connect through creative cloud that this indicator of loading lasts too long more than 15 minutes on my decent connection! It's frustrating for me, I tried the cleaning Cloud Creative tool and I uninstalled previous versions of adobe products, and I tried to rename the dll located in the user temp files or completely remove the OOBE folder! I've done everything I can. but still it is not letting me connect to download my last AE and PS apps! This is the link below for the GIF to have a better understanding of what I mean exactly after I connect...

I think you found the turning wheel on the Adobe CC application.
Please check the help below document:

HP Pavilion DV7-1020EA
Last update of BIOS/CMOS
Vista Home Premium 64-bit
Watermark factory recovery
All the appropriate HP update & Windows Update installed
Adobe Flash & Sun Java installed
Removed bloatware
Tried Msconfig and disable all startup with no improvement items
Intel Centrino 2
NVIDIA PureVideo HD graphics card
HDMI & eSATA
Problem: Booting into windows is OK a tad slow ish but it load the Office once it takes forever to load before you can get along with just about anything. As you can not connect to the Internet until the Office has charged. I don't think its something in the system tray causing lazy loading.
Any suggestions what to try please.
See you soon
Steven.
Hi Steven,
It should not perform the function of the buttons on the capacitive Strip if you disable Task Scheduler fast player - however another option would be to put the service to start manually instead of automatically when Windows starts. To do this, first enable the service from the msconfig services tab, apply the change and then reboot the laptop.
When windows has completely recharged (it will probably slow again), open windows control panel, open administrative tools, and open Services. Find the Task Scheduler player quick entry, right click and select Properties. In the drop-down list next to Start up type, select manual, then click on apply then Ok to save the change. Restart the computer for the change to apply and see if the time it takes to get a usable desktop is always good - if this is the case, then I'd leave the QPTS function defined in the manual.
Kind regards

How can I stop firefox 13 takes too long to load pages
I used to regularly visit http://kol.coldfront.net/thekolwiki/index.php/Special:RecentChanges
I can't stand the ads, well, then I added all sites ad to etc/hosts pointing to localhost.
until recently, the pages loaded fine, the dns lookup has failed in a transparent manner.
I've just updated to firefox 13.
now, every time the page loads I get "connecting to pagead2.googlesyndication.com"for about 15 seconds.
Since everyone loses interest in a page after 10 seconds, what makes visit to this site a bit frustrating.
any ideas how I can change this back to the pre-13 behavior?
maybe try to use adblock more instead of the host file - https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/adblock-plus

Firefox 6 browser takes too long to load. Can anyone help?
I run Windows Vista with Norton 360. All software is legal and properly updated. I clean the cache, registry, etc. regularly and defragment on a regular basis. Many sites Web also charge much more slowly than before. Should I remove some of the plugins?
Just for comparison, create a new profile as a test to see if your profile is the source of the problems.
-> Basic troubleshooting: a new profile
-> If this new profile works, then you can retrieve your bookmarks and passwords the old profile.
-> Recovering important data from an old profile
Check and tell if its working.

My daughter Air2 IPad takes too long to save. It is plugged in, connected to wifi and the screen is locked. Any tips?
How long is too long? If it lasts for more than a few hours - and even that is too long in my humble OPINION - then something is wrong. Completely backup, because it will not terminate in any case if its been so long, forced to reboot the device and try again.
To force the reboot your device, press and hold the two buttons of sleep/wake and home for at least ten seconds, until you see the Apple logo.
This may not work either. The backup may be damaged and you will need to remove and start over. However, its easy starting point and it will not hurt anything. If the backup will not end, he has nothing to lose.

Why it takes too long to open attachments of the e-mail account?
It takes forever to download attachments from my mail account. I tried to do the following tasks explained on the vista forum: http://windowshelp.microsoft.com/Windows/en-US/help/6b046ae9-1434-4423-9303-400ff6fe686b1033.mspx#ESD, but none of the fixed work possible.
After clicking on open on the box pop up asking if I want to open or save the attachment, it takes too long to download. The transfer window remains open to showing that he is ready to download, but rest in this window of bhox. I press cancel and try to open once again, if the chance that it opens this file, otherwise it takes forever forceing me to cancel. Very small files most of the time, usually between 50 KB should take seconds.
I even tried to save the files, but once again the same process. The transfer case remains open but does not download.
One of the ideas.
Thanks in advance.
Hello
It is not easy to tell exactly what is happening, but it must be something with the e-mail account provider and their page. For me, this case is not a typical problem of Vista, but you can try to find the solution on Vista from Microsoft IT Pro forum.
By the way: you have an alternative email by another provider address? Is it the same situation?

Take too long time to come for Windows
Hello
I have Pavilion g6-2031se and of the last two days it takes too long to come to Windows. I faced this problem for the first time and I do not use my notebook for Skype, Facebook and only very light work. Can someone help me with this?
Thank you
Ganga
@Ganga,
No worries, I would like you to try a clean boot. This allows the computer to boot without unnecessary programs or offers to start with it. When you open this document of croll to the section "How to perform a clean boot" once listed there to expand the section for your operating system to get the appropriate instructions.
Once you have made the appropriate changes, restart the computer at least 3 times and see if you notice a difference not how long it takes to start.
Please answer as soon as possible.
Thank you

Why does take so long to load from the time wherever I power up until it takes to get to the login screen? help taking too long
You should take a look at your startup programs and decide what is really necessary and what is nothing more than useless clutter. There is nothing wrong with the startup programs, some may be really useful or even necessary for your personal needs. But keep in mind that many programs build to start when you start the computer and that most of them must not start when the computer starts, all they do is slow down your boot time and clutter of things when you're trying to solve problems, and some are downright harmful!
I mean, have you really need things like real Planner and Gadwin Print Screen running all the time? These programs will run very well, even if they are not started automatically every time that you start the computer. Go to these programs and change/disable their boot option. Some may be difficult to kill for public assistance services can be useful when you try to control startup programs. Try CodeStuff Starter, it's safe and easy to use, I think you'll like it, download it here:
http://CodeStuff.tripod.com/products_starter.html>
Use AutoRuns to check axis start, Richard:
http://TechNet.Microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/bb963902.aspx>
Use Cclenar-> tools-> start
http://www.CCleaner.com/download/builds.aspx>
I can't tell you what to keep, startup items it is a personal preference, but pretty well all the startup items indicated by CodeStuff Starter are safe to disable, and changes are easy to reverse if you change your mind. Searches for items it shows you and decide whether or not these things are really useful or necessary. Some programs will be started at startup without your knowledge and over time, that list can expand to include useless parasites, part of good computer maintenance includes regular control of these startup items and the removal of the unnecessary.
Suggest that you first spread malware as the cause of the problem by following these steps:
I. - delete your temporary files
Clean the system (compensation to all temp/tmp folders and included all the content offline, the tif browser, delete the cookies of compensation.)
Do a disk cleanup. Click the Start button. in the search box, type disk cleanupand then in the list of results, click Disk Cleanup. Better and easier to use - ccleaner.
Download the basic version (slim) via
http://www.Piriform.com/CCleaner/builds>
The basic version (slim) does not contain the toolbar disgusted
DO NOT USE ANY cleaning of the advanced options. DO NOT TOUCH THE REGISTRY OR TOOLS. At least not for now.
Reset
II. - have your system scanned as a result of security/antivirus installed.
III. - download, install, update and run both of these tools to a-squared free scans:
MalwareBytes anti-malware (MBAM)
http://www.Malwarebytes.org/products/malwarebytes_free>
SUPERAntiSpyware (SAS)

LaserJetPro HP 1102w impression takes too long
Hello
I installed HP 1102w on my laptop using the driver from the CD. Printing is configured using USB and ePrint is disabled.
Printing takes very long (18 s). When I send a print job (even test page), I don't see that it appears in the printer job window liquid. However until I see that some data has been sent to the printer (for example 4 KB / 146kb) time is about 9 seconds. To start sending data up to what the page is printed is another second 8-9 so time total is Reiver 18 seconds in the best of cases.
My laptop is:
Windows Visa Business, 3 GB of RAM, Dual-Core clocked at 1.6 GHZ, SSD drive 120 GB.
I tried to install the XPS (planned it will be faster) driver for this printer however failed to install with the 0x070c error code.
Please have a tip how to print faster (reduce the time of 8 seconds until that data is sent to the printer)
Thank you
Miro.
Hi @MKLI ,
I see by your post that the printer takes too long to print in a USB connection. I would like to help you today.
What kind of documents you print? (PDF, Txt)
Have what applications you tried?
Try a different file or application to see if you have the same results.
Try and print a self-test on the printer hardware to see if it is a hardware or software problem.
Printing a Configuration Page. Select the method two.
Make sure the printer is connected directly to a wall outlet and the USB cable is connected directly to the computer. The USB cable should not be more then 6 feet. Try a different USB port on the laptop. Some ports are higher power then others. You may need to try another USB cable to see if that causes this problem.
Check the power on the computer to see if that is causing the problem.
How to make in the Windows Device Manager?
Go to Device Manager, under Bus for each made USB root hub controllers right click and left click on properties, for the management of the power supply remove the check box for "allow the computer to turn off this device to save energy. It allows the computer to restrict or cut off the power for this unit.
Restart the spooler to print on the laptop.
Click Start (), type services.msc in the Search box and press ENTER.
Find the service named print spooler, right click and select Properties. Click on stop and then click Start.
