• My fax would not auto-answer since March 13, 2015

  I have a windows 7 Professional 64 bit OS and a USR 56 K internal Fax modem to automatic answer until March 13, 2015.  I tried to go to the website of Robitics we to see if there's an update, but they said that my drivers are up to date.  I have auto answer set to 1 ring, but it would not pick up.

  I can manually pick up without problem, I wanted to just get the automatic answer mode to work.

  The difference between the 5670 USR who owns the OP in the linked thread and the USR 5610C who told him to buy is that the first is a "winmodem" or "softmodem" and the second is a hardware modem.  Softmodems using the processor of the computer to accomplish necessary fax functions that are executed by a chip in the latter type of modem.  This means that the drivers for softmodems are necessarily more complex - and more prone to problems - drivers for modems based on the material.

  If USR peut/don't isn't going to help, I suggest you

  • uninstall the modem (go to device, right click on the entry for the modem, Manager and select uninstall)
  • Open an elevated command prompt (type cmd in start it > Search box, right-click on the link found and select 'run as administrator') and type
    sfc/scannow {press Enter}
    If all goes well, the report will be without errors or correction errors

    

  • Restart the computer; If the modem is not automatically detected and installed, open Device Manager, select the top line and click Action > search the hardware changes

• DW 2015 update: Advanced question Options

  Probably stupid question; However, 20141, with its parameters, ftp etc, OK.  So I want to keep this version what update to 2015 for relief purposes.  So I remove the control by setting delete them older versions in Advanced Options.

  Yes & Yes.  You can continue to use both.  If you uninstall the previous version, DW 2015 will install along side 2014. It is not replace your current settings of the site.  It's just their copy in the file appropriate in 2015.

  That said, when I create a site definition, I make it a habit to immediately export it and my FTP settings in a STE file which I store in a convenient & safe.  If your site definition file is damaged for some reason, or migrate to new machines, these STE files are very important to have.

  I also keep my server, MySQL & FTP connection information in a Rolodex card on my desk for reference.  You can never have too many backups. Whenever I have to change the passwords, I put on a new card and discard the old one.   A card Rolodex of costs of store office supply about $20 USD.

• The Acrobat Pro DC scanner interface Windows OS TWAIN published since July 14,2015 update.

  Adobe Acrobat Pro DC version 2015.006.300060.

  Before the DC Acrobat 14 July 2015 update, the interface between the presets 'Create a PDF file using a scanner' has worked well. The selection 'Entry, sides' would work as selected, 'Front-end' would scan simplex and 'Both Sides' duplex scan. Since the update of July 14, 2015, if the predefined selection is 'Face' or ' the two parties, the output is always frontal (simplex).» This was also the case using the "Custom Scan" selection. The workaround for this inability to use presets for scanning two-sided problem is as follows. You must now use the "Custom Scan" selection. Under "Scan", select "Options." under 'Scanner Options - User Interface', select 'Native Interface of the Scanner Show '. In this window the 'Coast' selection will be irrelevant; However, the balance of the "Output" selection applies. Now select "Scan" in this window. The native scanner TWAIN interface opens now. Front or double-sided scanning / will be now selected as well as the colors, resolution, paper size and scan document of entry (dish or document feeder). Select "Scan" in the window of the native interface. The document will now analyse as selected, simplex or duplex, and the native interface window will close leaving the program open Acrobat DC.   Before update on July 14, 2015, would be sufficient to use the Scanner DC Acrobat presets for this. Now, no matter what the selection 'entry-Sides", the scan will be simplex. I understand that this update included integration of the use of 64-bit drivers TWAIN on a MAC system. This integration affected the Acrobat / scanner TWAIN interfacing? It is not the TWO. The interface has worked flawlessly before the update and now works only through a process of manual handling. I never needed to use the native scanner TWAIN interface for scanning and duplex in the older version of Acrobat Pro DC.

  I was buying Acrobat since the 1990s, the upgrade as newer versions release became available, and not what I expect from Adobe, or what should be accepted. Your update of July 14, 2015 has degraded user experience and functionality of the program. Please get this fixed.

  Even if I add a simple title or shorten a clip in a few images, these tiny adjustments can make the software freeze and two windows appear in the preview window.

  In my view, that there is a new update for AMS. We lack worm 5.0.3 standard r3029 on Centos 6, currently.

  My question is - where can I find documentation on how can IMPROVE us this on linux?

  I have to save config files and recreate them? Or this update will intelligently 'install on it' and keep all the settings exactly as they were?

  Make sure that you create a return to the top of your configuration and everything you have changed inside the media server and after this upgrade, you would have to make all these changes manually in the new version. Please refer to this document for notes of AMS version 5.0.8

  My contacts sometimes freeze (when I search a contact) and I have to force to leave contacts/phone to re - use the contacts/phone app. This has happened only once 10 update iOS. My phone also sometimes just suddenly stop (that too after the update!) It has happened twice already. The battery was more than sufficient when it happened.

  Try resetting your device. This will not erase your data stored on that device.

  • Press and hold the sleep/wake button
  • Press and hold the Home button
  • Press and hold both buttons until the display turns off and on again with the Apple logo on the subject.

  Alternatively, you can go to settings - general - reset - Reset all settings

  If that doesn't work, restore your device to factory settings. Please note that this will delete the data on your device.

  I'm pretty impressed with the pre. I have a problem nagging here, and I hope that someone has faced the front.

  Almost all my pre contacts come from google/gmail. When I update a contact on the Meadow, or via the interface of gmail (web), they are properly replicated. When I delete a contact from the pre, it is correctly deleted out of my gmail (web) interface.

  On the other hand, when I delete a contact from gmail via the web on a standard computer, it NEVER gets deleted on my pre.

  It's kind of a pain because you go through your contacts, trying to weed out the old/irrelevent ones, it is easier to do via the web interface of google on the pre.

  I contacted Palm support and they seem puzzled ("should work" etc.)

  Thanks, I actually tried to remove and re-add my gmail account... seemed to fix my problem for a couple syncs, but then stopped the synchronization again... pending the results of your trouble ticket...
