Context dependent contextActions

Hello

I was wondering how to make the context dependent contextActions. For example if I have a list of unread and read messages: How can I get the context menu to display the option "Mark as read" for unread items and 'Mark as unread' for elements of reading?

I hope that this question is clear, if not ask! Thanks for your advice.

Have you registered your variable "_app' with your context?

All values that are related to the firs segment should be displayed in my second segment. It depends on the context.

    Can someone suggest me a solution for the same.

    Thank you

    Hello

    I think that you must set a load value defined for your second segment based on the value of the first segment. I don't see the need for a context dependent on FF for you condition.

    Hello

    This has been a rough 48 hours.
    I currently have a laptop that I can not use for games or work, which is the main reason that I need this laptop for...

    I get errors or hangs when there is any attempt to access the dedicated, either through the graphics card simply open the application experience of nvidia, trying to play a game, using after effects/cinema 4 d or even try to use dignostic toolsto test problem. I tried furmark, that blocks the system if the nvidia card is enabled.

    I realized that if the card is disabled, the system works very well. This should not be the case.

    Help me please if you can... I spent so much money that I don't have to get this phone and all I have right now is the stress.

    All the best

    My laptop has been delivered on Thursday at 16:00:
    After 6 hours, he started having errors around TDR (Timeout detection and recovery) of the kernel driver nvidia (could not load nvlddmkm.sys), I rolled the driver back to version factory with no luck and another unistalling installation and reinstallation, I gave up.

    Friday:
    ... Think that all software pre-installed may interfere, I decided that I would use the HP recovery application to create a new installation of windows, this process has crashed to halfway through the process, which has damaged my full recovery and left me without usable OS or the way to solve this, because it is more no key license windows on current laptops , I could not install a new version of windows 8.

    I contacted customer support online team and was invited to test the integrity of the system. All these tests came back fine.
    After 5/6 hours of testing (23:00 Friday night), it was too late to contact the team once more, and thus I would not be able to communicate with them for 2 days with essentially a laptop of bricks, I decided to find a solution... I was also told that the product code for windows has been on bios, and I discovered the tool for creating windows media, which can create a boot disk for windows 8.1 lift my machine up and running.

    Saturday:

    Have a completely fresh install, I hoped it would end well, but nope. The same error occurred when only the OEM version of the nvidia drivers installed... which came with the same kernel error 3 or 4 times froze my computer, then crashed the laptop to a blue screen of death (dpc_watchdog_violation)

    I installed the latest nvidia drivers, who fortunately does not plant a blue screen, but when even contained the same kernel errors.

    I then created a complete reinstallation of windows and load each update and update HP driver and installed the drivers OEM once, I fell blue screen again, then again, I installed the latest drivers, who have been more stable, until I have a reason any received a blue screen I've yet seen. (I have the memory of the present dump if it's helpful)

    Here is the memory dump...

    Hey Kevin,

    I'm afraid that your answer was too late.

    I had a conversation with tech support Monday on this situation and already had a file number on this problem. I was told then to communicate with customer it's a serious problem that happened within the first 30 days of receipt of the unit.

    As of today, I sent the unit to HP for a replacement as this laptop was considered faulty and should receive a replacement within 2 business days of HP got my laptop.

    Hi all

    Every day I get a followed of a BSOD nvlddmkm.sys TDR.  It occurs when suring the web, or by using excel, or even just after the start.  Have spent countless hours of research on this.  Here is my card and the DMP file.  Any help is greatly appreciated!  I am using EVGA GTX260 but used 9800GTX + and received the same error message.  I also tried all 195.62 to 257.21 drivers, do an uninstall of older drivers and the installation of new drivers in safe mode, driver Sweeper, etc. and even made several own OS installations.  I also modified the registry for graphic TDR to a second value 8.  I'm at a loss to know what to do now.  Sorry for the long post, but thanks in advance!

    You got error checking 0 116 x which is a VIDEO_TDR_ERROR - "This indicates that an attempt to reset display driver and recover a timeout failed."
    Without doubt, update the video driver, downgrade the driver (if the last update does not work), or uninstall and reinstall the latest driver.  Updated the firmware, downgrade the firmware (if the last update does not work). Make sure that you use the latest BIOS for your motherboard as well.  If you are overclocking, stop.
    You have other video material, you can try?
    The last before the bugcheck error code was STATUS_INSUFFICIENT_RESOURCES (0xc000009a) - insufficient system resources exist to complete the API.
    It seems that some happening exhaustion of critical resources.  Unfortunately, it is difficult to determine what is depleted or which API is a failure.
    If you start in safe mode, do you still feel bugs? What if you do a clean boot, or boot device?
    Can you periodically check the Process Explorer'ssystem information window and note all values that seem to be increasing without limit?
    You can download the c:\windows\minidump on your SkyDrive content and provide a link?

    The dump file downloaded leading to the same results, such as mentioned in the previous post. The defective module here is the nvlddmkm.sys, which is a NVIDIA driver. However, try to update the drivers for this video card.

    Reference: Update a hardware driver that is not working properly

    Hope this information is useful. Please get back to us, if still face issues with Windows in the future.

  • Problem with the video on the computer.

    Hi, my computer suddenly become glitchy and started screen tearing up about 20 minutes ago.

    Hi Summet

    Problem with the NVIDIA graphics driver

    Please visit the NVIDIA site and install the video driver

    Choose your graphic card model and download it and install it, I m Sure/Hope that will solve the problem

  • BSOD BCCode 116 - generated after installing updated drivers for ATI Mobility Radeon HD display drivers for HP Probook 4520 s 5470

    I continue to work through issues with my HP Probook 4520 that is now almost 4 years with the same problem of a frozen screen.

    Today, I decided to work in seeing if there was new ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5470 available display drivers.

    I have the version of 15/03/2011 of the ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5470.  With that came the AMD Catalyst install Manager Version 3.00.0868

    .

    During his visit the HP site I saw that they had a newer version available on the graphics card available with the date of April 30, 2011 and the download file has been identified as sp52818.exe for the Version of the graphics driver to download 8.743.2-- 110315 5A - 115833C.

    In light of the penalty, that I got with my graphic display driver 15/03/2011, I decided to uninstall the drivers of my 15/03/2011 and download the drivers of 30/05/2011.

    Doing this has my computer I notified that I already have the sp52818.exe file and so I was a little confused, but I allowed him to install over my existing file.

    To install the file sp52818.exe successfully, I went to work.  Then after some time (within an hour), I got a message generated by computer at the bottom right of my screen saying a newer version of my graphics card was available at www.amd.com .

    (first thought was - why HP had it?)

    In any case... I decided to click on the suggestion box, visit www.amd.com and see what they had.  I was directed to install a driver to automatically detect the utility, and during the installation, the utility's suggestion came back that my computer can access a new graphic display driver.  I thought it was nice and so I then proceeded to of course download the .exe file for my HP probook 4520 s.  The proposed file was qualified: 13-12_mobility_win7_win8_64_dcl_ccc_whql_exe (graphic display for the ATI Radeon HD 5470 by suggestion of AMD driver.)

    Everything goes well.  It starts to download the Catalyst install Manager Version 08.00.0915, then the ATI display drivers with > .NET Framework 4.5 (I'm just observing things that are facts).  Several times the black screen comes on, but that is to be expected.  I wait patiently, and finally I see the green bar of progress.  Just as the green bars come in the end, the screen goes black again for about 1 to 2 minutes.  Then suddenly the dreaded BSOD Blue Screen of Death comes with an error message saying that something has gone wrong and closing of windows, and he mentions something about Windows display drivers.  I'm not panicking yet, but is offered the possibility of recovering and I let the computer pick up normally, and I return to the screen of welcome with happiness and connect to.

    From the entrance, the first thing I see is a Windows Error Message, I opened and saved and here provide for our education and research.

    I'm not able to open the .dmp file to display as the file associations cannot establish a connection, and I am unable to find the AppData file under users.  Windows 7, it is extremely difficult find the files suggested by error messages.

    I would like to know why the BSOD appeared, then please explain the error message that came as I was trying to install a driver recommended for my computer using download driver acceptable practices, causing me concern and frustration, as well as the 4 years of intermittent to faithfully display failure.  I'm not sending the machine backwards.  There must be a solution.

    (Rabbit Trail - the suggestion to display the privacy statement is also an attempt to distract people to get a real fix and do believe that Windows 'help' you who isn't.)

    The laptop is running and I can see things on the screen.  It seems OK, but I'm going to face other issues?

    Thinkgal.

    You are right that the accident may have been caused by the newly installed ATI driver. I checked on the HP Site and there is a version of the same display offered with the same output driver date on the ATI site, so the difference may be that the version of HP's specific system, while the ATI Version is just generic, so my suggestion would be to uninstall the ATI Version and replace it with the HP driver.

  • What do you do? Best practices

    Hi all

    As always when I come to this point in PL/SQL and the database development I ask myself what to do. So I ask you guys and girls what do you do when you come to the same point I did.

    Here's a few example

    COM_TO_DO_STATUS table with values

    1. OPEN

    2 SOCKETS

    3. CLOSE

    1 question. Here, I have two options, I can create table like this and FK in my table of master or I can do in the columns of the table main varchar2 (5) status with the constraint checking on these values. What do you do?!

    With this I know something, if I need to add new status in a case, I need to insert data into another I need to modify the check constraint, but bear in mind these data or value will affect my business logic (sometimes I need to hardcode them in my store of procedures).

    Lets say now, I name PKG is COM_TO_DO_PKG and procedure

    for the first case of superior signature is p_send_to_status (p_to_do_id p_status_id number, number)

    for the second case of superior signature is p_send_to_status (p_to_do_id number, p_status_id in varcahr2)

    2. question. Now I have also two options here, I can create 3 constants in this pkg

    c_status_open_taks number (1) 1 default constant

    c_status_taken_taks number (1) default constant 2

    c_status_close_taks number (1) default constant 3

    or for the second case

    c_status_open_taks varchar2 (5) default constant 'OPEN '.

    c_status_taken_taks varchar2 (5) default constant "TAKEN."

    c_status_close_taks varchar2 (5) default constant "CLOSE."

    with this I'm not avoiding to a certain level of hard coding in the stored procedure, for example

    the call to this procedure will be like COM_TO_DO_PKG. P_SEND_TO_STATUS (some id, COM_TO_DO_PKG. C_STATUS_CLOSE_TAKS);

    lets say as if I get IF the declaration code will be as IF L_STATUS = COM_TO_DO_PKG. C_STATUS_OPEN_TASK THEN...

    BUT if I need to hardcode the opinion, I can't use this constants so is there any point with this approach. What do you do?!

    3. question. In this example, I only have 3 value, what happens if you have more like 15 or 20. What do you do?!

    4. question. Sometimes business logic will change, so I need to add an additional value. In this case what will be the best approach?

    OK guys thanks for your time and sharing of experience.

    PS Sorry if my English is not better.

    Thank you.

    The "scope" of the solution depends on the magnitude of the problem.

    One of the best "solutions" I used is a combination of techniques:

    1 put the data in a table owned by a GLOBAL user research

    2 making this READ ONLY table

    3 grant privileges to users/roles that needs a direct access table

    4. create GLOBAL SYS_CONTEXT features

    5. implement a start trigger that load the global context information

    6 implement the specific maintenance features for maintaining the table of primary research and the global context

    7 create views, if necessary, use the values of the global context

    The strategy above allows you to use almost ANY combination of what you are already thinking but provides the reach OVERALL, necessary to allow access to multiple applications/patterns to the same set of 'constant '.

    Steps 1-6 above are used to restrict changes to the table to a user/schema/code carefully controlled to ensure that the framework is in harmony with the data in the table.

    In other words, you cannot allow any user to manually manipulate the data of lookup table.

    Once the foregoing contains you can use one or all, suggestions that others do.

    COM_TO_DO_STATUS table with values

    1. OPEN

    2 SOCKETS

    3. CLOSE

    1 question. Here, I have two options, I can create table like this and FK in my table of master or I can do in the columns of the table main varchar2 (5) status with the constraint checking on these values. What do you do?!

    None of those.

    You use a table with a key substitution based on a sequence:

    create table COM_TO_DO_STATUS (batch NUMBER generated always as identity, status VARCHAR2 (15))

    Other tables use the batch column. One possible exception is in a data warehouse when there are use cases to denormalize the data (e.g. tables ready of the report). For these cases the real value of the SITUATION could be used.

    Once again-, neither of those. This p_status_id is NOT just a number. It's worth a SPECIFIC column in the status table.

    If it should be defined in this way

    p_send_to_status (p_to_do_id number, p_status_id in COM_TO_DO_STATUS. BATCH TYPE %)

    This makes it clear to developers EXACTLY what value is supposed to be. Even if Oracle will not, indeed cannot apply this rule, it helps to document.

    lets say as if I get IF the declaration code will be as IF L_STATUS = COM_TO_DO_PKG. C_STATUS_OPEN_TASK THEN...

    BUT if I need to hardcode the opinion, I can't use this constants so is there any point with this approach. What do you do?!

    Cake using contexts

    http://docs.Oracle.com/CD/E11882_01/server.112/e41084/functions184.htm#SQLRF06117

    SELECT SYS_CONTEXT ('YOUR_GLOBAL_CONTEXT', 'STATUS_OPEN_TASK')

    FROM DUAL;

    . . .

    If l_status = SYS_CONTEXT ('YOUR_GLOBAL_CONTEXT', 'STATUS_OPEN_TASK')

    You can use contexts in view definitions. But you must make sure that the frame has already been loaded - from where the trigger for starting a load at startup

    3. question. In this example, I only have 3 value, what happens if you have more like 15 or 20. What do you do?!

    With the help of context which is IRRELEVANT!

    The table and the context are a copy of the data. And it is better to have ONE copy in a global context, only one copy for each user package.

    4. question. Sometimes business logic will change, so I need to add an additional value. In this case what will be the best approach?

    That is why this table feature and the search context must be owned/controlled by a GLOBAL user. You can't allow anyone do however the table and changes whenever they want to.

    You can certainly have a context for each application, if you need it, but the table itself changes are Records made using PL/SQL procedures and processes so that they can maintain the global context at the same time.

    Once you have started to use (whether or not global) contexts for this you won't be back.

    https://docs.Oracle.com/database/121/DBSEG/app_context.htm#DBSEG011

    An application context stores the user identification, which can be used to allow or prevent users from having access to the data in the database. You can create different types of application contexts depending on where you want to control access: the application, at the global level, or the customer.

    Hello, I have a laptop Toshiba Windows 8 running.  I don't have any major problems with it for a few years, but recently, he has been blocked due to an error DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL.  I looked for answers, but there has been problems.  I have reset the laptop and he continued.  A major response has been updated to drivers, but the problem is the computer crashes before I can get anything done.  If I'm supported here.  Thanks in advance!

  • Blue screen Windows on my HP ENVY 17, when you watch the movie from Youtube

    Hello!

    Product: HP ENVY 17 Notebook PC

    Operating system: Windows 7, 64 bit

    I got a blue screen Windows today on my HP ENVY 17 laptop, when I was watching a movie from YouTube. Did some work difficult debugging on the dump and found the following (see below). Of course, it's the graphics/video pilot that crashes.

    What I missed in what is the updates?

    Best regards Lennart

  • Passing parameters to the EL Expression method

    Hello
    With the help of jdev 11g R1.

    Is it possible to pass parameters to a method in an expression EL located in a property of UIComponent?
    something like: af:inputText label = 'asdf' id = "id1" disabled = "#{bean.check ['value']}" / >

    You can do this by using SecurityContext userInRole (#{securityContext.userInRole ['admin']}, but I need to do in my own managed bean.) When I try to follow the same approach as securityContext (i.e. #{mybean.check ['value']}) and having a check (String) method in mybean, it gives me an error saying that there is no such thing as checking property.

    I followed the post http://technology.amis.nl/blog/622/how-to-call-methods-from-el-expressions-pre-jsp-20-trick-for-jsps-with-jstl that shows something to do (the bean implements interface card), it works.
    The question is if this will also work in future releases of the ADF.

    Thank you
    Roger

    Hello

    You are hard to figure out how to work the EL:

    ValueExpression: solve the last part of the phrase as a property of the object resolved the previous expression. [So if you #{securityContext.userInRole\['admin'\}] or #{securityContext.userInRole.admin}, it really means "find the admin of the object property #{securityContext.userInRole}", now #{securityContext.userInRole} is acard. Until getting the 'admin' of a card property means getting the value of the key "admin". Now, if #{securityContext.userInRole} is a custom made map which replace the get method to implement logic, it can look like it is a method call with the expression from the point of view of EL, but it isn't really happening.

    MethodExpression: solve the last part of the phrase as a method with a specific context signature of the object resolved the previous expression. Now the specific context depends on the attribute being used, actionListener will seek public Sub method (ActionEvent) and nothing else. So, if you want to pass a parameter by using the same strategy, you do not disrupt the party, but you can influence the previous part, which is a ValueExpression. So, let's say you have actionListener = "#{foo.bar.method}" and must pass the parameter to the method, you can use instead of #{foo.bar\[parameter\].method}, where #{foo.bar\[parameter\}] resolve to an object with a public method (ActionEvent) Sub, but instantiated during the resolution of parameter passing the said parameter to the constructor of the object. " This way is quite complicated, however, and we never had to use it in the projects I've done (and some of them were / are very complex). I suggest to the contrary push settings in the object before calling the method. Let the example of listener to action:

    public class MyController
    {
        private MyAction action;

        public ActionListener getAction()
        {
            if (action == null)
            {
                action = new MyAction();
            }

            return action;
        }

        private static class MyAction implements ActionListener
        {
            private Object parameter;

            public void processAction(ActionEvent ev)
            {
                // do something
            }

            public String getParameter()
            {
                return parameter;
            }

            public void setParameter(String parameter)
            {
                this.parameter = parameter;
            }
        }
    }

    Then in the page:

    Kind regards

  • sys. Object depends on the execution context?

    Why this is so,
    This "sys.all_objects" table shows different data depending on the schema/user who queries the table?

    Example, I know that I object 'MWSLIIDES.xxMWSTS_OrderImport' in the database and database contains two users/schemas: APPS and MWSLIIDES.
    If I have a query as connected as user MWSLIIDES, so I can see this object:

    -run as MWSLIIDES
    Select * from object ao
    where owner = "MWSLIIDES."
    and higher (ao. Object_name) ("XXMWSTS_ORDERIMPORT") - 2 records, spec package and body for "xxMWSTS_OrderImport."

    But if I log in as a user APPS, then this query is not find anything:

    -run as applications
    Select * from object ao
    where owner = "MWSLIIDES."
    and higher (ao. Object_name) in ('XXMWSTS_ORDERIMPORT') - no record

    Can you explain why this is so? I understand that "sys.all_objects" should show the same content for everyone, regardless of under which schema/user I query the table.

    Hello

    Object is a point of view in the sys schema.

    This view has much of the place where clause, the where clause must find out who is running the query via a condition (userenv ('SCHEMAID'), 1 / * PUBLIC * /).
    Then she also a denomination to check the privilege of the user (sys.objauth$) which performs a query with all the object in the database ($obj).

    This condition two and many other condition contributes to Oracle to show you only the objects that you have access.

  • How can I use a context menu to change values in the numbers?

    I would use a context menu to view different values depending on whether you choose.

    example: projects

    sheet 1: projects, broken down by supplies, each of the deliveries was the price. I currently have this game to show me all the neede resources to complete everything, I want to implement in order to choose a pop up of a building of character, etc. and have it show me how it is necessary for this.

    HI Black Jack,

    I'm sure that many young people can do what you ask, but I do not understand your table - what data you want to move where and the place where.

    What would be in the context menu, where the popup would be and where the data would be displayed.

  • Pagging/context switching

    Consider a situation where the size of the RAM is 64 KB and there are 4 kernal memory resident process high priority level. And each process is dependent on the other. If the new high priority process kernal came next which page/process goes for context switching swapp GOLD out?

    Each process require a memory 16 k to keep his function/data.
