Continues scanning

I have a HP Deskjet 3521 e-all-in-one model of printer: CX058A.   There, I could scan multiple pages into a single file.  Now I can't do this and can't find an option to do this.  Before, it will display a page with you the scan page in the background, and an option to add pages in the file.  This way when send you a fax, fax you all pages as one.  Doesn't not need a continuous power scanner.

While a boy for an answer, I'm trying to understand this.  I was already doing your suggestions, selecting PDF, ensuring that the Previw Show has been checked.  I used a 600 DPI, but the addition of pages were not displayed.  I click on "Advance setting", on the file tab, I unchecked "create a separate file for each page of scan" again but not could not get the pages button Add.  Only after that I click on restore by default the button brings up and yes the CIO came down to 200.

The question has resolve, but there was no statement on the help file scanning must be done at 200 DPI or less.  Then if the scanner can scan at 600 DPI, why he cannot add other pages if it's scanning each page separately?

  • Why AI Scan.vi continuous is originally LabView 6.0 run at such a slow pace?

I'm working on a system of application of load of 6 degrees of freedom.  He is forced in a force under controlled in closed loop feedback system operated pneumatic cylinders with servo-controlled. The machine is instrumented with displacement (LVDT and RVDT) and sensors (load cells and cells of couple extensometer) strength so I can get the measurements of all the degrees of freedom (3 rotations and 3 translations).

The user interface of the machine has been designed on LabView 6i.  I know this is an outdated version - but half of the code has been written above, I just wanted to update and add to its functionality.  It runs on a computer Dell Optiplex GX260, running Windows 2000.

What I do with LabView is a control file that contains a series of activations of the clutch, loading of the input parameters and collect data options to manipulate the machine on / off.  , It seems to work very well and QUICKLY (about 25 seconds to 15 lines of code).  However, when I chose to acquire the data of our load and displacement sensors - it becomes VERY slow (about 12 minutes for the same 15 lines of code).  I tried different things with the code nothing works.  First, everything that can be run in parallel loops.  Secondly, I have disabled the loops that are not required when we took the control file.  Third, I omitted all the signal processing that occurs (this is where convert us the tensions since the load cells and moving into real force and distance using the calibration).  However, nothing accelerates the acquisition of data.

We currently have two Renault (PCI-6023E and PCI-6040) for the acquisition of data.  I use only the card PCI-6023E. I use the NOR provided .vi HAVE continuous Scan (waveform) .vi.  I would try to 100 Hz (scan rate) and have a buffer size of 1000 and a number of analyses that can be read at 10.  Prior to the acquisition of data that the user chooses which loads and the ways of moving, he or she wishes to acquire data of.  It is rare that more than 2 channels is absorbed to a unique moment (usually only one load and displacement single channel).  Only the channels selected by the user are passed to HAVE Continous Scan (waveform).  I have the input variable connected to a hydrant iteration of my time of loop iteration, for AIConfig and AIStart to configure only the first time.

So how is the file to control search phrase 'data_collect' in position 'on' and then the loop parallel data acquisition is enabled.  Loop control of the file does not match the data acquisition loop using a "waiting on this case."

I enclose several screws I run the main executable program is called KBiii_Esther.vi.  This will much subVIs to configure experience, etc.  The file control is activated in loop control of the file and is running using the do_file_control.vi.  Finally, the data acquisition is enabled in a separate parallel loop and executes the do_acq_wave.vi.  That's where I think the problem lies.

    Issues related to the:

    (1) anyone have any ideas why the acquisition of data slows down everything?  AND you have any ideas or suggestions on how to fix this?  It's playback of data or script of a worksheet that slows everything down?

    (2) anyone have any suggestions for the best buffer size and the number of scans to read values to optimize performance?

    Thanks in advance.

I f I remember well "AI Continous Scan (waveform).  'used to lock forward tight CPU for data that you specify. So I was doing has used two of these screws, where the first had a zero wired for the number of sample to retrieve and it returns the number of smaples waitin in the buffer I'd use for second reading. This method helped to capture incoming data without having to wait for all the data.

  • Scanning multiple Pages with 100 desire

How to scan multiple pages into a single document using my NEW Hp Envy 100?  I have a MacBook Pro with a 10.8 OSX operating system.

MarcusGoddard, because this printer doesn't have an ADF, I don't know if it's possible. I believe that this model asks you if you want to continue scanning, if that's the case there is an option we can try.

Is it is it, however, you will find this option in the popup scan, under the "Advanced" link Here if you save in PDF format, then the option for it to scan in a single document.

I need to scan several pages, some pages in size, a few recipes.

If I start with the ADF, all pages are scanned, the option to add a Page only allows me to continue scanning from the ADF, so the only option is to close the first file and create a second for the things I have to scan from the glass.

Is there a way I can switch to scan from the glass and add this page in the same file as the pages in the ADF?

    Hello

Thank you for using the HP forum.

You can try this software scanning solution:

    HP extended Scan

    FTP://FTP.HP.com/pub/scanners/HPScanExt/HPScanExt.msi

Once it has downloaded and installed, go to start > all programs > HP > HP Scan extended > Run "HP Scan extended.

You can 'Save as PDF', start working with the Source as the ADF and then add pages, and then select the source as flat.

  • Scanning documents problem

I have problems with scanning documents on my f2480 printer HP Deskject.

I can't scan multiple pages of a document at the same time. When I finished a scan page, the printer immediately gives me the prompt to mark imported files and there is no option to continue scanning several pages of a document. This means that I have some separate files for each page of a document.

In addition, I don't have the option to save a file in PDF format.

When I go to open the file, it appears in a kind of tool of visualization of photos.

It's as if the printer is locked in mode of scanning photos.

Kate, do you have solution for this printer Center? There is a way to allow .pdf analyses as well as the combined windows, but all two of these things are accessible through the interface of your computer.

I would recommend to use the HP scanner software to scan from the comptuter and in the scan window, you will be able to choose both save in a .pdf file and under "Advanced" options select analyze in a single document.

  • HP 3522 printer/Scan issues

I have a printer/scanner/copier HP 3522.  One of the reasons I bought it is because she would do duplex printing.  I also need a home scanner.  I have two problems with it.  I have a Macbook and Windows Office for mac 2011.

    1. while I do a double-sided printing in almost all programs, it does give me not this option in Microsoft Office.  I tried to download a new driver for the printer, nothing helps.  I cannot find any setting in Word to allow me to do duplex printing.  Any help?

    2. it seems that I can only scan one page at a time and he recorded in a single document.  It's problematic for long documents, and I can't find any information anywhere on this (including manual reading) I recently adequate for a document of 35 pages to someone and had to send 35 different accessories.  It seems absurd and I would not have bought it if I knew, I hope, just something miss me.  Help?

Jravi, well I think I can help you!

On the first question: from what you describe, it looks like a problem with MS Office.  If you cannot duplex of all the other places, the probable cause is in the program that you are using. As a general rule, when you are in the screenshot you can select the option of "Print on Both Sides" and as long as this feature is enabled in the advanced options on your printer properties, it should work. If this isn't the case, I would consider contacting MS for further assistance.

On the second question, Yes, in your printer software when you scan you should be offered the opportunity to "Continue scanning" since you do not have an ADF. This feature is mainly used when scanning documents in PDF format. Also under Advanced options in the scan window, you can even choose to record all continuous PDFs in a series in a single document as well.

I would like to know if this is the info you are looking for!

    Hello

Full features software is available for Windows 7, this is no longer provided for Windows 8.

A basic set of drivers as offered only provide basic scanning capabilities by using operating system utilities, such doesn't offer a scanning HP utility and allow a single file of scanning.

Try the 3rd party PAN scan utility below, it offers the PDF and the digitization of several page and offered as a freeware:

This app you can prior multiple pages scan save the PDF file.

  • Adding Pages scanned in existing PDF files

    Hi all

I'll try to find a way to add new pages to existing PDF file.

Is it possible to scan new pages directly to the existing PDF file?

According to the current help files, it shows in the following 2 ways:

    1. combine multiple files of multiple type after scanning and save the file to the local computer.

    2. let continue scanning when scanning additional pages.

But how we can scan the new pages in existing file and the open PDF.

    Concerning

    Kirubaa

You use what Version of Acrobat? For Acrobat 11.0.4 If you have a PDF document is opened and as you scan a document it will automatically add to the existing PDF. For other versions, you must go to custom scan and select "Add to the existing file or portfolio" whenever you want to add.

    Thank you

  • TDMS first write delay

I am trying to broadcast a large amount of data to an FPGA Flexrio/ent before continuous scanning to

disc HDD-8265 continuously. I use the advanced functions of PDM, preallocating the

size of the file with the correct sector size, etc. and when I listen 2 G - 50 G samples (u32), it doesn't work

    problem.

As I increse my sample from 2 G to 50 G size, I noticed that the target-to-Host FIFO through which I send

My data is beginning to be fiulled upward during the first time I try to write the .tdms file. Once the writing is recommended

is called it firt time, everything is ok and writing advanced catches up.

I noticed when I exceed 80G samples of the target-toHost FIFO overflow and I lose events. I'm trying to fix this problem; I need to keep all the events which me providning an absolute timestamp (GPS)

which is generated by a number fixed events since the start of data acquisition. If I drop the events, I lose my ability to TimeStamp any particular DAQ sample.

I keep my the same sampling rate through the tests, so it seems that the problem is associated with

Some are looking kind of time of the first entry in the .tdms file; It seems to stretch and longer

the file is large, then once that he firt writing it is not a problem.  Once the HDD-8265 starts

write, there is no problem juggling; It's just kind of initialization time-out that is proprtional to the

    the file size is allocated.

I'm preallocating space using the advanced features of .tdms and tried to put a wait after this function but

has no effect on the time of the first entry.

Is it possible to start the HDD-8265 to get ready to take data without actually writing the events? I guess I could write a dummy block of fixed length, wait a second and then select the data acquisition system, but this seems like a terribly stupid thing to do. I would rather not write dummy data blocks for the HDD-8265 just to get rid of the delay until the disk can fully manage the flow of data cointinuous.

OK, this definitely helps. If you have a large file, say 1 TB, then you will have to wait a few seconds after the flush before the 8265 is ready to take data. It seems that the reader begins to map the allocation of files after the flush.

I put a delay time of 5 seconds after the flush, and it seems to work perfectly for a 1 TB file. I suspect 5 TB

should maybe 10s or more. See the joint .png

I did not consider that you could mix regular functions and advanced .tdms... Thanks for the help!

  • USB-6218 for PC transfer speed

    Hi guys,.

I hope to be able to taste 10 channels 10 Hz for about 1 hour, in Labview 8, on a relatively new core dual desktop PC.

First, I tried an Agilent34970a and concluded that, even if she can continuously scan quickly enough, GPIB in Labview transfer speed was too slow and the PC could not follow.

So I intend to implement a continuous sweep on a USB-6218 and then read it via USB, time-stamped data in Labview.

After reading about OR "sample streaming usb", my question is: approximately how long will be the transfer of data via USB? I'll be able to transfer time-stamped 10 channels at 10 Hz continuously in Labview, and still have cycles left processor above for other duties such as writing to the file .VI and update the screen.

The reason for which I am aiming for USB and no PCI/PXI is because I am concerned about the interference of the computer that affect my signals.  I read only analog voltages in the range of +-10V.

    Thank you for your understanding.

You can acquire and store at rates of several orders of magnitude higher than 10 Hz. A good way to make sure you can follow has a producer/consumer architecture so that the file writes are made in a separate loop. Backup to the binary is also much faster than backing up to the text. Thus, the design of the program is important as well as the material you use.

  • Photosmart B109a-m: HP Photosmart B analysis problem with new HP computer

I recently updated my computer to an HP all-in-one running Windows 8.1.

I used to be able to scan on my HP Photosmart with several options, including "Paper to Searchable PDF File" and "text (OCR) in a RTF file. Unfortunately, these options are not available on my new computer and I can only scan to PDF or TIF format.

Is there something I need to download to enable me to continue scanning to searchable PDF?

    Thank you

    Calum

    Hi @kiwiscot8,

    Welcome to the HP Forums!

I noticed that before you upgrade to WIndows 8.1 you had options for 'Document to Searchable PDF File' and 'Text (OCR) to RTF File' with your HP Photosmart B109a. I'm happy to help you!

After some research I came across this post, Re: impossible to analyze OCR on a model of all-in-One Photosmart B109n-z, @Timoto, I think will help your situation.

Hope this solves the problem for you and have a nice day!

Your computer is infected with the rogue malware. Rogue malware is software that installs on your computer. He tries to scare you into buying the product informing you of the wrong issues with your hard drive.

First thing NOT to do is to remove all temporary files. This rogue often hides your files. It is a program that can view your files, but you must first get rid of the malware.

Restart your computer in safe mode with network. Click HERE, download, install, update and perform a full scan with Malwarebytes.

Once the scan is complete, please let me know what has been detected. If you have trouble running Malwarebytes click HERE, download Rkill and run. Rkill is NOT a malware removal tool. Simply, it detects the malicious processes that are running on your computer and it kills to run malwarebytes and scan your computer.

  • Scanner does not work on my Hp Printer and I can't find a way to see my ink level

Hello!  I uninstalled HP Support Assistant, did an update of Windows, installed on official site, and still I can not scan from my printer (you had to make a shortcut to scan from my computer), and I do not know my ink level.

Any ideas on how I can see my ink level?

Any ideas on how I can scan (even if it's a low priority because I did this work around)

I go back to the site of HP and HPSA (ensuring that everything is updated), but I don't see that the HP Digital Imaging Monitor icon is msising and HPSA advised me a custom installation and to include that when installing.  It is the icon/program to see my ink level.  But I can't seem to get there. Not an option for installation.

    Any other ideas?

    Thank you!

    Hi linsjean,

I see that you have lost the ability to use the HP software to scan and check the ink levels. You can continue scanning as you are now, simply download and install HP Print and Scan doctor to check your ink level, or you could perform a full uninstall and reinstall.

Click here to download and run the utility > HP print and Scan Doctor

    Or you can use the steps below to complete uninstallation and reinstallation;

    1. Hold down the Windows Logo key () on the keyboard and the 'R' to open the dialog box run, type %temp%
    2. Delete all files and folders in the temp folder. Choose Skip if all pop ups seem to say all files cannot be deleted
    3. Download the software and choose Save as, save to desktop > click here, choose your operating system, click Next, select the product software driver installation and download your software.
    4. After downloading software and extracts, reopen the temp folder, use the instructions in step 1.
    5. Locate and open the folder starting with 7z (example: 7zS2356)
    6. Open the folder Util
    7. The CCC folder
    8. If you have a computer HP run the L3uninstall.exe. If you have an non HP computer run the L4uninstall.exe
    9. Once the uninstall is complete, reboot the computer
