  Details of the full patch for f5 patch are available in this knowledge base article. As a general statement, we encourage everyone to install the patches as soon as they are available through the Update Service, especially if they are marked as Urgent (it is not marked urgent). In this particular case, it is unlikely that you'll turn to all the problems solved by the f5 2012 SP1 hotfix since you use LabVIEW 2013.

  The reason why you see the update in the update service is LabVIEW 2013 installs several versions of the runtime LabVIEW, so Update Service sees that you have on 2012 Run-Time Engine installed and invites you to patch.

• Win Vista Business 32-bit SP2 running: How can I get IE 8 to keep the user ID and PG for the sites?

  I'm under IE 8.0.6001.19019, with privileges for the Admin user, and I was not abe to understand why, unlike my other portable installation Win 7 SP1, as IE 8, I can't get the system to keep the user (not to mention passwords) ID I enter the website screens, for example: as my web Yahoo email account.  I have been through all the IE Tools / Internet options screens to see what I can and can't seem to find something there.

  I work in FM 11. My document has a TOC, BATCH, and LOF. My LOF would not be up-to-date, so I created a new one from scratch, but can't seem to get the LOF to display the chapter number in the Figure number and the page number. The format should be TitreFigure X - Y Figure... X Z. Where X is the chapter of the source, there is the number listed in this chapter, and Z is the number of page (Figure 1 - 1 Architecture... 1-5 showing the first figure in Chapter 1 is on page 5 of Chapter 1.)

  I tried to copy the reference to the table of contents or the BATCH page. My LOF looks like this:

  

  You must add the <$chapnum>component in all relevant places you want FM to display the chapter number (see the table of contents for examples). You will also need to change some of your paratags to be included in the automatic numbering (if your content is using this combo of num chapter-figure in your chapter documents).

  Also insert the tabs in page reference LOF definitions, but use the code '\t' instead of a tab character so that you know that a tab command was specified. Change the corresponding paratags to include the desired tab stops. (for example for Figure_TitleLOF you should have something like "<$paranum><$paratext>\t \t<$chapnum>-<$pagenum>").

I went to internet explore and connected and I have no problem. The only thing I can get from that is that I have a problem with firefox. I have been using firefox for a couple of years too.

  4. There is 1 line for each profile. Especially if a profile is bad there are 3 things worth visiting:
  • Make sure that the name of the key are not ends in ".bad".
  • Make sure the RefCount value is 0

Once I did this the page comes with connection two names - the strange correct one and a few. (I've not been able to get rid of the weird name, either). I would like to be able to fix things, so Firefox will do the same thing on this computer as it does on the other.

  I recently installed apex on my localhost, port 8081, and I try to go to http://localhost:8081\apex\apex_admin so I can set up a new area of work, but everytime I try I get security windows popup requesting identification name and user password. I tried my user, credentials, even credentials weblogic xdb credentials.

  Can someone point me in the right direction.

  I am running windows 7 Ultimate, with Oracle 11.2.0.1.0, apex 4.2.5 and weblogic/http server.

  Anyhoo, this is now resolved. The anonymous account has been locked. Unlocked it and BINGO... all work.
