RHEL5

I'm testing the digital switchover of primary education in sleep mode.

SQL > ALTER DATABASE COMMIT to SWITCH mode STANDBY;

ALTER DATABASE COMMIT TO THE PASSAGE IN STANDBY MODE

*

ERROR on line 1:

ORA-01093: ALTER DATABASE CLOSE allowed only with no connected sessions

Please help why the error

Thank you very much

JC

Hi all

I solved my problem now. I'm just being dumb of me

In the init.ora, I see that there comment #.

#log_archive_start = true

Since it's the eve before db, it did not matter if its commented out.

But when I switch to it, now, the question to which it can not automatically archive the online redo, it is why ALTER SYSTEM SWITCH LOGFILE wait forever

Thank you ALL.

    Hello

    Yesterday, I created a new physical standby database, based on

    everything seems fine.

    Today morning, found the day before the database is initially elementary, then copied manually lack archivelogs and recover the database shall catch up.

    unique name of the primary data base: orcl2

  • How to copy a mask complex for a second year of elementary school? -2014 release

    I drew a single grade both inside and outside of mask. But after the ranking on the outside, I can't get a new layer of primary school to accept the classification inside mask.

    My workaround is to duplicate the original primary set rank, including the mask, then switch from the outside to the inside and manually re - set all parameters to zero/neutral before starting at grade. (By clicking "reset" removed the mask.)

    I watched the video tutorial on your website, but it did not work for me. The tutorial feature a mask more simple. In my project, there was an icon in the primary slope to show a complex mask was there. In the tutorial, there's just the icon of "exterior grade" or "grade on the inside".

    Please tell me the proper way to copy the mask.

    Thank you

    Andy

    SpeedGrade is not a way to copy a mask, unfortunately. So we tend to say such things in an extra layer of levelling over the track itself in "native" mode, or CC-style link Direct mode by using a Premiere Pro project, add an adjustment layer that precedes the clips involved in PrPro, then use that in the Official Journal to do your job of masking.

    Please do not hesitate to put in a feature request for this... these real go to the project managers & "bean-counters" that determine where the budget is available for the fixes & new features.

  • How iconify elementary school that has no default decoration.

    When I use initStage (StageStyle.UNDECORATED) to customize the border of my own of the window as the border of the window of the local platform. But in this case, we cannot iconify elementary when we click the icon in the Windows 7 task bar. The JDK 7u21, JavaFX 2.2 are used.

    When I tried other programs with borders of window custom (although I didn't know what language it is developed), are there no such a problem iconification.

    I guess that there something wrong with the configuration of the listener but no mater what im not able to find what.

    Thanks for all your answers

    One thing is sure to have active sessions that does not make the transition to digital. Query the session$ v, identify sessions and try to kill them at the DB level. Please refer to my previous post.

    If it is still a problem, then I think you might be hitting the bug.

  • XML parsing is not the case for < xmlns >!

    People,

    I try to analyse a XML data using XMLTABLE and because of the presence XML namespace attribute, it does not analyze the content. That's why no results.

    If I change this to another name, it is able to retrieve the xml data. What can be done to analyze with < xmlns > suggestions?

    Examples of data

    -Table

    create table xml_table (id number, xmlc xmltype);

    -block insert xml data (sample)

    declare

    xmltype x_xml;

    Start

    delete from xml_table;

    x_xml: = xmltype (' <? xml version = "1.0" encoding = "UTF - 8" standalone = "yes"? >)

  • Impossible to split the partition not visible is (C) to a new system - 4 primary partitions

    Hello

    TL; Dr. I'm probably stuck with 4 primary partitions (two WINRE, EFI and (C), and unable to split C on an installation DVD HP fresh system.

    320 HARD drive failed on my G6 2233 HP laptop. I have fitted a replacement for 500 GB and does the following:

    • installed Windows 8 from the HP System Recovery DVD (provided by HP, not recorded by me, new facility)
    • deleted partition recovery with HP Recovery Manager
    • installed all the updates of Windows 8, and updates HP Support Assistant
    • upgrade to 8.1 Windows
    • installed all the updates for Windows 8.1 and updates HP Support Assistant

    Went to the system partition tool, see 4 primary partitions created...

    At this point, I was not aware, this can be a problem. I tried to split C as seen on the image. Has not been able to define the desired values (max stood at about two of equal size, because of ummovable files), but this was nothing new for me - on the previous 320 HARD drive that I met the same problem, I could (but COULD) make two of 14xGB were leaving.
    Here I wanted to 120 GB and GB 344.
    Anyway, even with different values I have a mistake in the next step, claiming that it has no place on the HARD drive.

    So I decided to try the EasyUS software, as it has helped me in the past.
    First screen is without any intervention (there are a bunch of weird music here, all created by HP software/operating system).

    I could choose to reduce the size of the partition, but the ability to create from unallocated space was not active.

    I'm confused. If I'm not mistaken, I shouldn't remove two WINRE and an EFI partition, but I either convert logical partition C (have no idea how, this option only is not active on EasyUS (could do that on my HDD USB drive), or remove one or more of the other primary partitions.)

    Even if I'll find a way to convert logical C, which is safe, and that I should after D creation C back in elementary school?

    I tried to play safe and let the HP/OS software do the work, and they left me with 4 primary partitions...

    OK I found the guide which unfortunately is not sure... Any other ideas?

    http://h30434.www3.HP.com/T5/other-notebook-PC-questions/how-to-REPARTITION-HDD-of-HP-notebook-with-...

    Unfortunately, they seem to have different names... Probably do similar things, but could someone just highlight is the partition EFI HP as mentioned in the guide, tools etc.

    I guess I should, after that installation of Windows 8 and deleting the recovery partition, create a new partition can and upgrade to 8.1... Would solve many problems, but I'm not sure it would work and really do not want to lose more than two days on this...

    I solved the problem with reinstalling Windows 8 from the DVD, and then deleting the partition recovery and at this point to divide the C partition and finnally upgrade to Windows 8.1. It works, and it was the safest, but probably not the best way to solve the isue. Previously I installed Windows 8, deleted the recovery, improved to 8.1 and got 4 primary those linked above.., so that the difference here is divide and distributes itself in the intermediate stage...

    Thank you for your interest and have a good year.

  • ORA-27037 standby after you have moved the primary files

    I'm under Oracle 11.2 with a physical Data Guard configuration primary and standby on Solaris 10.  Asked me to move all the files belonging to the primary to a new mount point.  This includes the datafiles, tempfiles, ORLs, litigants and the controlfile.  On the main file system files were located on /u07 and are now on /u03.  Pending files are on /u07.

    Here's what I did:

    Cancel managed recovery and stop in standby mode.

    Judgment of the primary.

    A file system has copied on the primary /u07 to /u03.

    Control_files primary init.ora file parameter to point to the new location on /u03 and change log_archive_dest_state_2 = DEFER

    Renamed the primary spfile with a ".bak" then primary would begin by init.ora file.

    Elementary school:

    startup mount;

    Run A SQL script to rename the data files, tempfiles, ORLs and SRls to the new location on /u03.

    ALTER database open;

    Create spfile from pfile;

    stop immediately;

    start-up;  (so primary is now started with a spfile)

    Standby:

    Change these two lines in the init.ora file:

    *.db_file_name_convert='/U03/oradata/mydb/','/U07/oradata/mydb /'

    *.log_file_name_convert='/u03/oradata/MYDB/log','/u07/oradata/MYDB/log_ '

    Note: When Eve was created first, someone created the ORLs with a different name of the primary.  For example, major newspapers are named log1a, log2a and log3a.  The day before, they are named log_1a, log_2a and log_3a.

    Renamed the spfile Eve with a ".bak" then Eve would begin by init.ora file.

    bootable media;

    At this point, I have seen these errors in the standby alert log:

    Errors in the /oracle/diag/rdbms/mydb_stby/MYDB/trace/MYDB_lgwr_27569.trc file:

    ORA-00313: open failed for the members of Group 3, Journal of thread 1

    ORA-00312: wire 3 1 online journal: ' / u07/oradata/MYDB/log3a.dbf'

    ORA-27037: unable to get file status

    SVR4 error: 2: no such file or directory

    Additional information: 3

    ARC3: Started archiving

    ARC0: FROM PROCESS ARCH COMPLETE

    Here are my questions: why is the database ensures looking for online newspapers as they are named in the primary?  (Without the underline in the name)

    Should I have set STANDBY_FILE_MANAGEMENT = MANUAL on the primary and standby and renamed implementing the ORLs in the standby?

    What I ended up doing was closing the day before and rename the ORLs on the filesystem depending on how they are named on the primary.  Then, the day before, I did:

    startup mount;

    change retrieve in database managed automatic standby database using the current log file disconnect from the session;

    Then, on the primary, I did: alter system set log_archive_dest_state_2 = ENABLE;

    Everything looks OK, which means, newspapers are shipped from the primary to the standby and applied on the day before.

    I wonder, what would I have done differently to avoid first encountered this error?  Also, is my valid Eve at this point?  I see no problem in the primary alert log or journal alerts in mode standby.

    Mimi Miami wrote:

    Thank you, CKPT.  Now, I understand my misunderstanding with the log_file_name_convert parameter.  The parameter is used to convert file locations of the ORLs on standby, not the name of the file of the BDL himself, correct?  Knowing this, would it not imperative that the file is named game?  In other words, I can't have an ENT named log1a on the primary with his match on the eve log_1a appointed, right?

    Yes, setting gives way where to redirect the log files, but what happens if the mentioned directory does not exist on the database pending?

    As on previous day $ls ltr - / u07/oradata/MYDB/log_

    When there is no available pending directory as you have not mentioned in LOG_FIILE_NAME_CONVERT then it cannot translate the strings either.

    File names, you can have anything but basically LOG_FIILE_NAME_CONVERT is here to rename the log files if there are in different places.

  • Standby configuration primary Oracle 11.2.0.1.0

    Hi all

    I have a Setup primary and physical the previous day. I'm planning a permutation between primary and standby. Both my primary and standby is now in phase and I took a few steps, what is mentioned below: -.

    Primary: -.

    SQL > select max(sequence#) from v$ log_history;

    MAX(SEQUENCE#)
    --------------
    146

    Standby time: -.

    SQL > select max(sequence#) from v$ log_history;

    MAX(SEQUENCE#)
    --------------
    146

    My switchover_status of the primary database shows 'to the rescue', but my switchover_status watch watch "unauthorized." Please suggest in that case I can go for a failover. I'm waiting for all your contributions.

    Kind regards

    Hello
    This is the real situation. First pass at the Stand By and Stand By unauthorized.

    A few steps to make the transition to digital:

    -If YOU do not THE BROKER CONFIGURED:

    VALIDATE PRIMARY AND STANDBY

    SQL > select db_unique_name, open_mode, database_role, v database name $;

    VALIDATE THE LGWR APPLY (ON ALL THE NŒUDS IN THE CASE OF CARS)

    SQL > SELECT client_process, process, sequence #, status from v$ managed_standby;

    VALIDATE THE SEQUENCE OF LOGS (IT DOES NOT NECESSARILY IMPLY THAT YOUR DG IS OK)

    Select thread #, max(sequence#) of the newspaper of v$
    Group thread #;

    VALIDATE THE ALERT. JOURNAL

    Check if the last SEQ # applies very well.

    PREPARE DATABASE BACKUP

    SQL > alter recover managed standby database disconnect log file using current;

    SQL > select db_unique_name, open_mode, database_role, v database name $;

    KEEP ONLY ONE INSTANCE OF PRIMARY (BEST PRACTICE)
    It is not mandatory, but I usually keep a single NŒUD RUNING on PRIMARY and a NŒUD ON STANDBY (CASE of THE CARS)

    MAKING THE SWITCH TO TEACHING ELEMENTARY SCHOOL (PRIMARY-> STANDBY)

    SQL > ALTER DATABASE COMMIT TO SWITCH STANDBY MODE PHYSICS WITH THE STOP OF THE SESSION;

    VALIDATE THE ALERT. LOG (must display the following message on the PRIMARY ALERT)

    ARCH: Noswitch of archiving the thread 1, 329 sequence
    ARCH: End-of-Redo archive thread 1 sequence 329 branch
    ARCH: LGWR is actively archiving destination LOG_ARCHIVE_DEST_2

    VALIDATE THE MOVE TO STANDBY STATUS (SHOULD BE IN ELEMENTARY SCHOOL)

    SQL > SELECT switchover_status from v$ database;

    SWITCHOVER_STATUS
    --------------------
    AT THE ELEMENTARY LEVEL

    VALIDATE THE TRANSITION TO THE STATUS OF PRIMARY EDUCATION (SHOULD BE NECESSARY RECOVERY)

    SQL > SELECT switchover_status from v$ database;

    SWITCHOVER_STATUS
    --------------------
    RECOVERY NEEDED

    ENGAGE THE STANDBY TO PRIMARY

    SQL > ALTER DATABASE COMMIT TO THE MOVE TO THE PRIMARY WITH THE STOP OF THE SESSION;

    OPEN THE DAY BEFORE GOT R & W

    SQL > ALTER DATABASE OPEN;

    Database altered.

    PREPARE THE PRIMARIES TO GET THE ROLE OF EVE

    Sorry for the late response

    Standard edition wont support any features like Switchover, Arch/Redo transport.
    Have you configured only standby where archives will be transferred manually & applied? even still you cant perform switchover.

    So I can finally come to a conclusion that the digital switchover is not possible in the standard edition

    I'm generating archive in primary education and shifting manually in sleep mode.
    The digital switchover is related to dataguard?
    Also, the passage is possible without installation dataguard.

    Yes, this is not possible. This feature is applicable only for Enterprise Edition and passage to the associated with DataGuard. The digital switchover is not possible with the standard edition.

    Earlier, in my database of relief, switchover_status was "elementary school." But after I applied the archiving log, the switchover_status became "not allowed".
    "And the results of the statement ALTER DATABASE COMMIT to SWITCH to STANDBY' ' always erred in elementary school.

    Its because there is no database backup in the dataguard configuration primary from primary to standby and vice versa. Therefore, an expected behavior.

    When I bought my new camera, I created apple ID as [email protected] and [email protected] as the address to icloud.
