Convert psd editable text?

To convert a psd "editable text"... do I have to have the police / police in my system.

My client will provide the text in a PSD for MAC and I want to use the text on a path in my Windows System.

Yes, you will need the fonts on your system. This feature snaps the text string and formatting of information, but otherwise there's nothing in the PSD. Unlike PDF files for example, they do not support integrating games of glyphs together to maintain appearance even if the police are not on the system...

  • RE: Layer-convert to editable text

    Hello everyone.

I am trying to add an animation to a Photoshop layer.

I imported a Photoshop layer in after effects CC.

When I try to convert an editable text, I get this error message.

    Thank you.

    error-message.jpg

Well, you can not convert the items non-text entexte becase they are not text!  You can convert text into editable text layers.

What you do with the horizontal bars and the dog you need to turn them into editable text?  I see no reason to even try to do so.

  • Export to. PSD - editable text gray?

    I'm in Illustrator CS5 on a PC

I finally got my work and I have a text on a circular path. I am trying to export the whole thing as a .psd to layers in order to color and add it to a few other photoshop illustrations.

In the export options, stays 'editability of text keep' grayed out any color, ppi options I choose! I don't rasterize the text or converted to outlines.

Does anyone know why this might happen?

    Thank you all!

    AZA

You mentioned many of the reasons that can happen

    1. Don't not clicking on write layers
    2. Change the color scheme (you cannot convert from RGB to CMYK or visa versa here, without losing the editability of the text)
    3. MUT have editable text in your document (Illustrator is smart enough to detect this)

You have on the other as a deformation of the envelope-anythign about your type of path? The effects of the appearance? All the strokes on text (Photoshop is not as advanced with shots)?

I could copy the text on a path in a new fresh document and see if you can export as .psd as a test to refine the problem area.

  • Cannot convert Photoshop layer in editable text

I already searched the Internet, but the answers are exactly what I need.

I have a few PSD files that contain certain text, shape, fit and layers of the bitmap image. When I import to After Effects, all layers are converted to bitmap.

When I call the command "convert to editable text" for layers that have been the text inside Photoshop, I get the following error:

"After effects error: no compatible Photoshop text data has been found."

    (52:: 0) ".

after effects error no compatible photoshop text data was found 52 0.png

What should I do? I have already deleted the layer styles, checked blend modes, font type and so on.

I got a solution. There seems to be a bug in After Effects.

My PSD files have been named as 'mograph 01.psd', "mograph 02.psd", '03.psd mograph' and so on.

When I import me a single file, for example, "mograph 01.psd", After Effects became layers in other PSD files, spoil the folder that it creates imported compositions.

This was translated by raster layers generic without this icon for the imported Photoshop layers on the timeline.

The solution was to let every single file inside a folder before you import it.

I hope it may be useful to someone else!

  • AiO want 7645: Impossible to analyze editable text

This newly purchased printer. which is supposed to come with ROC to enable analysis of editable text (Word), is not that.  Online and CD resources are proved to be unnecessary.  How can I activate the editable text (Word) scan?

    Hello
The software provided for your device does not include OCR functionality
You can find referred to in the specifications of analysis below:

Scan to text: Integrated OCR software automatically converts scanned text to editable text

note: Integrated OCR software is available only with Officejet 5740 and 8040 models.

In the commercial specifications below for the series, who also applies to the 7645 thus:

Scan file format: pdf, bmp, jpg, gif, tif, tif, png

    http://store.HP.com/us/en/PDP/HP-envy-7640-e-all-in-one-printer

You can use a solution of OCR 3rd party to analyze as editable text.

If you have Microsoft Office suite, there is a good chance of the suite to provide this type of functionality:

    Office 2007 or 2010:

  • Convert a JPEG text to a form that I can change and then print.

Remember - this is a public forum so never post private information such as numbers of mail or telephone!

Ideas: how to convert a JPEG text file to the one in which I can change and then print?

    • You have problems with programs
    • Error messages
    • Recent changes to your computer
    • What you have already tried to solve the problem

This can be done better with Adobe Photoshop CS5 http://www.adobe.com/products/photoshop/compare/ which is about the gold standard for working with documents of the image - but it's a bit expensive.  It also won't be easy even with this program - it is possible but it will take time and effort.

If you do not Photoshop, you can use the tool text box in Microsoft Word or picture in Microsoft Publisher - even if they are quite a bit more difficult to work with Photoshop (which is hard) and the results will not look as good, regardless of how carefully you use. The advantage of Word on the editor, is that you have the possibility to use a Wordart object and 3D text. So these are the vector graphics as opposed to a bitmap will not appear on your final print rasterized (but this isn't a problem with Photoshop)

Quality is really about how much the text superimposed on the image - if it is separate, it will be much easier than if it is covering the picture (so the question is how to fix the image once the text is deleted or changed and not only to change the text).  And it may not be a simple matter to simply correct a word or two, if you do not have the same font available - you may need to change the entire text, so it will look right.

Another solution is to use OCR software to scan the image, and then try to modify the text.  Still, it won't be easy (probably even harder than the options above) but it's a possibility (depending on how the text is mixed with the image).  The problem here is that most of the options just freeware have the ability to make such a complex task, so you would probably need a comprehensive program of recommended.  Here are some options:http://www.simpleocr.com/OCR_Software_Guide.asp.  What you should do the work is also quite expensive and if you choose this option or the above options depends on what other uses you may have for these programs (and the quality you're looking for in the finished product), once again, I don't think something will do the job as well as Photoshop - I have Photoshop (an earlier version) and I never tried to do it before I did a bunch of other things that would seem impossible.  I don't want to attempt this task if the text superimpose the image, because although I think it would be possible, it would take a LOT of time and effort to obtain a finished product of acceptable quality.

Technically, you could use Microsoft Paint to do this, but the quality would probably (which are certainly) be terrible and I doubt you want to even keep yourself let alone print it or send it to someone else.  In some cases, it might do the trick but it's free (again, depending on where to find the text and especially if she superimposes the image).

Regarding the conversion of the JPG file, I'm not sure what turn you to who would make it easier to change and change as you suggest here.  Perhaps TIFF, but it helps very much.  Here are some converters of JPG files:http://convert-jpg.software.informer.com/.  Even if you converted to a .doc file, you could just open it and change the text - it is not as simple as that.

Another option would be to convert the JPG file in a file of CAD and CAD software allows you to edit the image - but I'm not familiar with CAD products so I can't offer recommendations here (except that I heard that most working properly are still more expensive than the above options and they can be used just about everything).

Whatever you decide to do, it won't be easy (and perhaps costly as well).  There are freeware programs that claim to be able to do these things, but you will not be disappointed by the quality (unless the text is separated from the image, you can totally erase what's there and replace it with the one you want).  For them, you can search on Bing, Google,www.tucows.comand www.download.com.

    I hope this helps.

    Good luck!

  • InDesign CC: Text in editable text fields in the process of disappearance after export

    Hello

I'm having a problem of text of text editable in endangered fields after you export the document as an interactive pdf. I created the text that should be editable in acrobat with InDesign CC. Thus, for example, I want to have a field editable text that said "I am Marie." I want users to have the ability to change from "Married" to "Tom" or "Ben" in Acrobat. So the pdf should have a form of editable text, saying the phrase "I am Mary" when users open the PDF in Acrobat. However, aafter export, the remains of fields of text, but the text itself "I am Mary." disappeared. I do not understand why this is happening because the text is there when you preview in the Preview SWF window in InDesign.

Here it is the list of steps in my work.

STEP 1: Create some texts (for example, m with the tool text frame in InDesign CC )

STEP 2: Click with the right button on the image and click on "Interactive > convert to text field»

    OR

STEP 2: Select the block of text, open the window "buttons and forms" and change the type as "text field"

STEP 3:  Export the document as an interactive pdf. The parameter is set by default.

Result: When I open the PDF in Acrobat, the text field is there, but it is empty.

As far as I know, to have a form pre-filled text [I am Marie] appear in the text field, you must set the default value of the text field in Acrobat. You can do this by selecting the field property > Options > Default Value
