copy dirty

When I make copies and scan documents for faxing (online), my MF4350d begins to produce incorrect pages, for example, there are lines (one about 2 inches from the right just at the bottom of the page) and stained, distorted or poor resolution on the copy. I tried a cleaning running sheet both the loading of documents and the paper tray. I cleaned the rollers, plates, and so on according to the instructions of the manual. Please notify. The machine is only 2 years. Thank you

Hi, teriwells:

I'm sorry to hear about the question of quality that happen and am happy to help you. The question may be the cartridge of toner or related unit, and I have provided measures to help narrow down which may be the cause.

Possible causes:

1 black vertical lines because of the need to clean the platen glass (lines on the pages printed or faxed/scanned).
It is a common symptom and can sometimes require a little elbow grease to remove the residue on the glass.  You want to carefully and completely clean glass in the scanning area ADF on the left side of the platen.  Look for scratches, spots and marks of any kind.  If brands are noticed, you may need to clean the glass up to three times or more in function that created the brand (Ex: magic marker).  You can use a soft Lint is dry, with glass or water to clean glass and may have to rub until it squeaks to eliminate certain types of marks.  NOTE: Please spray the cloth with the cleaning solution and not the glass.  Another way to ensure that the brand is removed is to use a credit card by placing on an angle and sliding through the glass in one direction.  You can then lift the credit card when you reach the end of the glass and return on the other side to slide transversely again.

2. the need to turn or replace the toner cartridge
Remove the toner cartridge and move it on a 90 degree angle several times to redistribute the toner.  Follow by running a copy of test.  If the same results are produced, test a replacement Canon cartridge 104 to determine if related to the previous cartridge or a problem with the unit.

3 a quality adjustment is required.
You can adjust the machine settings to improve the print quality (and to avoid paper jams), which can occur when a variety of functions are used. It is recommended to set these on a regular basis in order to avoid a number of problems don't occur.  You can also perform a fixing unit cleaning if you have not done already. Maybe it's the cleaning roll you referenced.  This requires loading the paper in the tray MU.  Here are the steps to help you:

Special Mode options:

Special T - blur reduction mode

Special Mode U - improvement of print quality

Special Mode V - reduction paper Curl

Special mode Y - adjustment setting of the Toner

Special Mode Z - reduction in fog

To clean the attachment unit and make the adjustments above, please follow these steps:

Cleaning fixing device:

Important: Place a piece of size letter clean and regular of the book on the MU tray to use as a cleaning sheet.

1. Press [menu].

2. Press [<] or="" [="">] to select , and then press [OK].

3. press on [<] or="" [="">] to select the correction. Cleaning unit, then press [OK].

4 cleaning begins.  Take the cleaning sheet after that the cleaning is done.

To set the special Mode:

1. Press [menu].

2. Press [<] or="" [="">] to select , and then press [OK].

3. press on [<] or="" [="">] to select the Mode you want to adjust.
Press [OK]

4. Press [<] or="" [="">] to select or , then press [OK].

Note:

For SPECIAL MODE U, the options are , and .

5. Press [STOP/reset] to return to standby mode and try a copy of test to check the condition.

  • HP Pavilion TouchSmartNotebook: Copy file fails-then recovery

Replaced the bad drive HARD 750 GB with a HDD1TB, after installing the new HARD drive, inserted the recovery disc 1, and then asked for disc 2, and then @ 74% a box came up saying: copy the file fails.     From: D:\PRELOAD\BASE22. Stormwater management at: Z:\RM\Image\BASE22. SWM press ok to try again, tried it, same message.  I'm at the end of my rope with this PC. Help!

    Hey @geegeesgirl

Because you got a bigger than the original HDD, it shouldn't be a problem.

In my opinion, the two most probable reasons for the problem are device faulty OR defective DVD player support

All the possible reasons for your problems with the recovery are:

-new HARD drive is defective [highly unlikely but should be checked, I know you did a test already but don't know if was a short or the complete.] If you have not yet made the disk HARD full component test, please do so.

-another component re. HARD drive is defective - bad connector or dirty parts [highly unlikely because it would have shown the problems when copying 1 disc DVD]

-defective recovery media [media you received is fake - not to your PC, collate (call) suppliers to probably get a new one in back of these you have]

or the DVD disc is scratched]

Remove the current DVD drive and check it for scratches as already suggested above. If the disc is scratched, you can try to repair the disk using an optical disc repair kit. These types of kits use special chemicals that is qui se lier bind to the surface of the disc, then fill scratches.

Clean the disc with a soft, clean water (very small amount) and the fabric. Wipe from the center of the disc to the outside edge. You can also use the cleaning disc kits or kits restore disk from your local computer store. These kits sometimes produce better results than a cloth and water.

-integrated DVD drive is defective [less likely... but you can test using the UEFI diagnostics hardware - component test , or with another media; you can try to clean 'the eye' player; if you have, you can try using a DVD external USB device instead of inside]

  • My photosmart c309a print or copy black ink. I replaced new w ink but still does not

I have a mac.  My photosmart 309 c has suddenly will not print or copy of black ink.  I cleaned the print heads, tried to align (not that), went out & soak the cartridge printing and eventually replaced w / new black ink.  Still nothing!  When I print, I get a black ink when I try to align, but nothing.  Color will print.  Same problem when I try to copy - no black but will get color.  What should I do?

I finally had time today to try the method of back.  It worked!

I took out the print head, continually ran hot water into the Pan so that the water has never been dirty (about 1 inch of water), has run a small flow of water in the black on the top screen that I determined that I had nothing to lose, gently dried the electrical parts and put it immediately into.  Turned on the printer, he crossed the alignment, etc. and printed black (and colors).  Just copied too dark.  It took me about 10-15 minutes for the whole process.

Hope this works for others.  Thank you all for the input.

  • where can I find driver DVD digital copy protection, decoder, card vidio

When I try to play a vidio on windows media player, I get an error message that I need to update my DVD decoder, digital copy protection and vidio card. I don't know how to do this.

    Hello

I suggest you follow the troubleshooting steps form the article and check if it helps.

How to troubleshoot problems that occur when you play a DVD in Windows XP

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/308012

To prevent the illegal creation of digital copies of DVD, information on most of the DVDs are blurred. Your DVD decoder and Windows Media Player have software to copy protection that decodes the information on the DVD just before posting. If this software does not start successfully, you may receive this error. Remove the DVD in the DVD drive and then reinsert. This will force the copy protection software to reset.

While the DVD is out the disk, make sure that your DVD is clean. If your DVD is scratched or dirty, the DVD player may not be able to read it correctly, and you may receive this error.

If this does not work, try the following:

    one)

If you have been able to play DVDs on your computer before and you receive this error message, you may be able to solve the problem by restarting your computer or Windows Media Player.

    (b)

If you receive this error message the first time you try to play a DVD, you're not a DVD decoder installed, or your decoding software may need to be updated. In addition to your DVD - ROM drive and playback software, you must have a software or hardware decoder to play DVD decoders. devices and their drivers are available from third-party manufacturers. For more information on the software decoders, see decoder DVD plug-in. If you have a plu decoder installed, contact the manufacturer of the decoder to obtain an updated version that is compatible with the operating systems Microsoft Windows and Windows Media Player.

The drive installed on a different hard disk on the same computer without error, it should not be dirty or damaged. If anyone can help with this please?

To the file copy stage of the registry would be game.  It could be a permissions issue, you could mount the drive in a different Windows NT installation type and set the permissions.

  • What to do if the copy of Windows is genuine when MS wrote that is not

I received the message "this copy of Windows is not genuine".  Windows 64 bit Vista came installed on my laptop when I bought it almost 2 years ago.  Why I get this message now?  MY COPY IS AUTHENTIC.  What am I supposed to do?  I'm not a geek & dirty with records or something like that.  I find it very upsetting that MS did something like this & there is no where & no, you can call to get them to do it right.  I don't have to understand something like that by myself.  If Microsoft will do checks like that, they should do things or provide a toll-free number for when they go wrong.

  • OfficeJet Pro 8500 has vertical line from top to bottom after a copy or scanning via adf

Each copy or scan do using the automatic document feeder to my HP Officejet Pro 8500 a shows a vertical line from top to bottom left of each page. I have cleaned the printer at all parts of the feeder, - nothing dirty in fact found. When I copy or scan the glass plate there is no vertical line on paper.

Anyone have the same experience with this printer?

Usually if the scanner works on the dish, but product line in the scans from the ADF, it's because of something on the glass.  Have you tried to shine a flashlight down on the surface of the small approximately 1 in. piece of glass on the left side of the bucket?  This is the strip of glass used for the ADF.

Like trying to clean the white strip, located on the lid above the glass of the ADF, well clean to make sure there is no debris on the support that can cause this line appears.

    * Make sure that the printer is plugged into a direct socket, rather than a surge protector.  The 8500 has protection against overvoltages integrated in the device and an another surge in the circuit protector can sometimes cause lines.  However, usually this causes lines in both ADF and flatbed scans.

There is also a document provided by HP with the steps to troubleshoot issues when a line is present in the copies/scans.  The document can be accessed here.

    I hope this helps.

    Hello

Files that cannot be copied are in bad clusters.

    Try running chkdsk x:/b

The /B switch will cause the disk check to reassess the bad clusters and try to fix them again.

  • Copy large amounts of data at 128 GB Micro SD card

I have a 128 GB SD Micro card in the format exFat32. I tried to copy my music libray on the card for use in my Galaxy S5. My music library is 103 GB. I can't seem to copy more than about 5 to 10 GB before out craps and give my mistakes about corrupted data or the disc is dirty. I reformatted and ran chdsk repeatedly. I tried to copy from the PC to the card via the port USB, tried to copy from PC to the card with the slot of the card reader, tried syncing via wifi; all the methods reported the same result. I even bought a new card ansd still have the same problem. I even used 2 different laptops... once again, all methods brought the same result. Can someone help me?

  • Easy transfer - tool cleaning or copy of data

Easy Transfer transfers blindly * / settings files.  If the old PC is bloated with crapware, malware, software of garbage,... it's an effective way to transfer or I'm better to manually copy (Documents, photos, music, videos, Favorites, links, PST files,...) to avoid problems of migration for a PC to another?

Easy transfer is designed to facilitate the transfer of your DATA and settings to another computer.  That works as well when you replace a hard training or re - build a system.  NOTE that it does NOT copy the applications (programs).  For what it's designed, it does a great job.

I use it quite often.  If the settings on the computer are dirty upward and are part of the problem, or I wasn't capable of first clean malware, I won't use Easy Transfer because he repeated bad settings that may be causing the problem.   In this case, do drag and drop your files to an external hard drive to backup data.  Do your re - build.  Install the applications you want.  Then, copy your data back.

I rarely re - build a hard drive because of the infection.  There are enough good tools out there, and Windows 7 is so durable it can almost always be cleaned.  My favorite tool is ADWcleaner.

Usually, when I use Easy Transfer, is when the OS is so corrupt that I can't fix it or I replace a hard drive.  If you are replacing a hard drive go big.  500G is a good place to be.
