Copy everything or just the discs?

I have a stand-alone ESX 3.5 host.

I'm migrating virtual machines on it on to a farm ESX 4.0 with Virtual Center, etc.

Transmit enough simple just copy all of the files for each virtual computer and then right click on the file .vmx and "add to the inventory. Then I turn on the virtual machine upgrade VMware tools, close, upgrade equipment, back on the power again.

However, it is the best way to do it? The 3.5 .vmx file there significant differences in the .vmx 4.0 files?  Is there a reason to copy all the .log files?

Should I continue to make the outline of the way above? Or do I just copy the files from the disk and then create a new virtual machine, using the existing disk? The second way would be "cleaner"?

> Simple enough to copy all the files for each virtual computer and then right click on the file .vmx and "add to the inventory. Then I turn on the virtual machine upgrade VMware tools, close, upgrade equipment, back on the power again.

Do not upgrade the hardware. It is optional.

Add 3.5 ESX to vCenter and simply migrate all virtual machines. You can even VMotion to 4.0 hosts.

No, not big difference in format .vmx between 3.5 and 4.0.

I have a HP Envy 120 printer all-in-one.  It prints very well.  But when I saw something to copy, it's just all black vertical lines.  No light in the scan bar.  I had HP replace my printer with a new printer and the same thing happens.  Anyone have any ideas?  I have a laptop with Windows 7.  Have used the printer for 5 or 6 months, but use only a few times a month, so did not notice a problem immediately the Copier.  Spent 4 hours on the phone with technical support who said first the version of the firmware to put up-to-date, but he was able to complete correctly.  He suggested that I had a surge in my wall connection, but that wouldn't make much sense given that I had just plugged the new printer to try and nothing else on this decision was having problems...

Hi teropt. Reset of the printer and plug it directly into a wall outlet are a very important step to do if you do not have.

I had this happen several times now when I copy a selection it will copy everything it contains exactly as it appears in the reference. It copies sometimes more and sometimes he makes outside partially transparent pixels. It's a bit annoying when you do the SNES. A way to disable this option? See the pictures attached for reference.

Artur: Try to do this with the option of "smoothing" out on the magic wand Options bar.

My guess is because this option is enabled and that your work is so small (because it is based on the pixels), Photoshop is interpolate the selection to include a "smoothing" to transparency.

This work has a hard edge, so there is no need of anti-aliasing.

  • Just the songs/video missing?

I have an iPhone 7 more than 128 GB. Unfortunately when I click on 'Video' app on my iPhone, all my music videos, that I bought from iTunes disappeared and moved to the application 'Music'. Now, it's really confusing. Apple seems to break the apps more than fixing. Why? before iOS 10 never comes, iOS 9 worked very well and all my music videos are in the 'Video' app, all my songs are in the "Music" app, not more, there now appear to be broken, involved putting each of them in the application 'music '. Even when I play the video clip in the application of the 'Video' on iOS 9 which usually have closed captions on it, now on iOS 10 in the application 'music' don't have it anymore. ITunes on my PC play subtitles on the music video, I need this back on my iPhone! I have total of 401 songs [for the most part, are ripped from my CDs and some songs are purchased from iTunes included music videos purchased on iTunes] and only 333 is transferred to my iPhone and 68 are missing. I get most videos music and songs that I bought in gray [68 of them are]. I even went to "Purchased" and redownload everything and it remains grayed out... Help? and apple please give these clips in the app "Video!" PLEASE?

  • Microsoft will allow me to return the OEM and get a copy retail or I have to buy the disc at retail?

I went to the store to buy a copy of Windows 7. When I got home, I realized it was the OEM 64-bit edition. I already opened and installed. I just noticed that I should use the copy that I am not a seller of computer retail. Microsoft will allow me to return the OEM and get a copy retail or I have to buy the disc at retail? I'll be money for theOEM. I guess I should have ask a seller in the store, but they were all occupied. I installed it for someone else while they are mad at me. Can I do a system restore to solve the problem?

    Original title: oem vs retail

There is nothing wrong with using an OEM copy, its identical to a retail license, just that he has a certain license terms. Considering that the retail licenses are rare and expensive right now, I'd work with OEM license. Microsoft ended sales at retail of Windows 7 in October 2013, while they carry a premium right now.

The OEM of Windows 7 versions are identical to the versions commercial full license with the following exception:

-OEM versions don't offer any free direct support from Microsoft technical support Microsoft

-OEM Licenses are tied to the computer first you install and activate it on

-OEM versions allow all hardware upgrades except for an upgrade to a different model motherboard

-OEM versions does not move directly from an older Windows operating system

Just reinstall from the disc (or download it from https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/acrobat-8-9-product-downloads.html) and activate it with your serial number.

If your number of activations exceeds max (2), then you will need to contact customer service.

  • Can I reinstall Windows XP and Office 2007 with just the numbers, product keys, and no disc.

I have three old computers in my house.  All three begin to show serious signs of just getting old.  I was recommended to clean my computers.  I would like to reinstall my Windows OS and reinstall the software of my office.  I've lost my records over the years and moving, but still have my product key numbers that I kept in my office files.  Is it possible to reinstall it without a disk?

    BCorb,

I suggest you call the computer manufacturer and request for an XP CD will be sent to you. It should be for only a few dollars, like $10 or more because it is an OEM copy.

For the Office CD, if it came with the computer you could probably try to ask them to send a copy as well, although I do not know if your computer manufacturer did.

    See you soon ~!

Hello.  I just uninstalled LR 4.1 and reinstalled using the disc.  There is a 4.4 update I tried to install, but he failed both times I tried.  Message says 'Fail' but without code, etc.  It's 2016 and I use windows 7 64-bit.  Is there access to the 4.1 just uninstall and fresh install 4.4 from the site?  Is the problem 4.1 and 4.4 no longer supported?

You can download LR 4.4.1 including the latest update here:

    https://www.Adobe.com/support/downloads/product.jsp?product=113&platform=Windows

Uninstall the current version of LR, you have it installed, download LR 4.4.1 installer and install it. I don't know what causes your problem with the update, but that a full installer for 4.4.1 can operate without any problems.

  • Is a block level copy when expand us the size of the disc during P2V?

During P2V, if we reduce the size of the disk, it will be a copy of file level which will be slower than the block level.

We wonder if she will be a block-level copy if we expand the size of the disk during a P2V?  If she always uses level file copy, it would be preferable not to increase the size of disk and just extend the disk space by using DISKPART after conversion?

    Thank you

It will be block level for NTFS volumes, and at the level of the files of FAT volumes.

Could not copy a file at the location requested. Mac OS 10, Version 10.10 [1].

I JUST bought this new macbook pro and Lightroom installed, imported 2 lots of pictures, but all of a sudden he kept denying my imports with "could not read the file" or "couldn't copy file at the location requested.  Help, please!

Your use of the word "files" (in the plural) still makes me believe that you have not checked the permissions on the folder that is appropriate (in the singular).

You must determine the Destination of the Lightroom Import dialog window Panel and see which folder Lightroom is really tr6ing to copy photos in (which may have been accidentally changed and is not what you may have used in the past) and change the permissions to write to this folder.
