• Have the new computer with Windows 7, Palm m105 and 4.1.4 new Office of palm, trying to synchronize correctly.

  With the new computer, I had to add a converter Series USB cradle hot synch. I spent most of the day trying to get the new converter series to be recognized so that synchronization can be performed. It will now sync when I put the Palm in the cradle. After installing 4.1.4 in order to get it all to work, I took a recent version of historicalbackup of my palmOne program files folder in the Program folder files and replace the entire folder with my historical version. When I open the software desktop, all my data seem to be there, except that a lot of my previous entries in the calendar are now three hours earlier that they used to be and some are moved to a day. My Palm keeps the correct information, but synchronize custom crush data from the office with your handheld data produces no change, even though he went through a time synchronization process. I have also an old computer that has a copy of full backup of everything and the palm software in that one works correctly, then what should I do to correct the data in my calendar on my new laptop?

  Thanks, lucky me, I had no registry after files talk to the guy at my store of the computer support and to find out how long it would take for them to support me on this company.   I did another installation of my software, and this time first of all imported data in the calendar.   It was enough to get the palm m105 sync with the computer and a couple of sync later (with the handle of the substitution of office), the victory was mine.   The data is now properly input and not duplicate!  So, it looks like to annoy a little, you can get this all works with Windows 7.   I'll post an update after a few weeks of experience with the Palm on this computer.

  Thanks for your help cygnusX1.   And let the folks at palm know that there is still a lot of pda users here who would like to be able to upgrade to pda better, not smartphones.    I don't know what I'll do once my m105 bites the dust.    If you have any ideas as to what improvements to consider in the future, I'm all ears.

  Hello! Only some of my images in the mobile folder sync synchronize actually on my Iphone. I did all the stuff that I found in various forums, such as the removal

  the sync on my windows computer folder, delete all the data in my creative cloud, but nothing doesn't seem to help. Whenever I have try a different amount of images appearing in lightroom mobile there. I also re-installed the app on my iphone and ipad. • HP OfficeJet 7612: Scanning through questions flat

  Good day to all,

  I am a technician to the printer of the client who has been recently bought and installed. Insofar as the drivers and Setup, everything was a success and the customer, but also the other members of the staff were all able to print and scan. Analysis via the touchscreen interface was successful as well as scanning HP desktop utility.

  I recently received a call from the client yesterday, indicating problems when you try to scan A3 paper through the plateau. The document analysis but for some reason, he will be absent from the parts of the original document. It will not analyze the full length and width of the document. What happens when analysis via the touch screen interface; "Scan to PC".  has started to solve problems using my MacBook Pro (no one was using a desktop PC and using my camera allowed me to be the printer as well as not disturb the customer to do its job).

  When I did a scan on the A3 document via my Macbook, he did the samething. So I expanded (if I remember correctly) this 'more details' button that allowed me to choose the size of the scanning, which then allowed the analysis complete of the A3. I went to the Office of customer and analyzed through the utility that has given a proper analysis of the document. I then went back to the interface touchscreen, to digitize and curiously, the scan came out good. There is no option to select the size of the (as far as I've seen) so I didn't pay anything. I made repeated sweeps and they came out all now own. It affected also copy A3 documents because the scan took the whole docment. I made a copy and he now printed the entire document successfully.

  For me, it was a little confusing because all of a sudden, it's working fine now and I know that I did nothing. So when troubleshooting another question, there, I took the officer's cell phone to test. I decided to test the scanning on the laptop as well as with the A3 document via the touch screen, and the same problem occurred. The scan using the HP utility on the laptop produces a correct analysis. Did the scan via the touch screen, and the scan came out good.

  So what I did to get a document format letter to analyze the cause I have a theory that I wanted to test. Analysis of the doc size letter, via Scan to PC on the printer , product, if you want, an A3 size scan. The digitized document correctly letter size, but there was like a white around the document border, creating for the missing part of an A3 size document. I scan on the laptop via the HP utility and selected the letter size, carried out the analysis and it came out good. Going back to the printer to use the scan to PC has produced a correct analysis of a PDF letter size. I then put in the A3 and did the Scan to PC again and it has not produced an appropriate analysis in question. That the part of the letter of the A3 document was scanned.

  Conclusion:

  Analysis via the tools on the PC, gives a successful analysis. Whereas, the scan to pc via the interface on screen touchscreen printer gives the question. If a person did a scan of the letter, and then a second person scan an A3, the printer scans only the part of the letter of A3 paper. If someone did a scan of the letter after a previous A3 scan, the paper will be scanned but the extra part of the A3, will be seen as a huge white border.

  For me as a technician speaking and seeing that this issue is irritating (shocking but always irritating) and much more for those who use the printer to scan; so you can imagine the mindset they are whenever they try to do their analysis and deal with this problem.

  You are absolutely right, the "Scan to Computer" takes the setting of the last known software (utility) HP scan setting.

  No work around known but this behavior is on most HP printers.

  With the Matlab DAQ Toolbox, it is possible to export a scanclock by addClockConnection() (see http://www.mathworks.de/de/help/daq/ref/daq.session.addclockconnection.html for an example of code base).

  However, I found no information on properties signal exported on the NI USB 6229 (BNC), for instance frequency, amplitude, duty cycle, etc., or in the documentation, or on the web or in this forum.

  I would be very happy if someone can point me to the documentation for the properties of scanclock.

  All channels in a MATLAB session running at the same pace. So, if you create a session', s.Rate would be the rate of your acquisition or production. the 's.addClockConnection' method allows you to import or export a clock to analysis for synchronization purposes. The syntax below allows you to export the session of 'PFI0' on an external device clock. You can probably find documentation on the Web site, OR to the properties of the embedded clock signal, but it seems to be a pulse of 5 volts running to the session rate - which is typical to synchronize the devices together.

  s.addClockConnection ('dev2\pfi0', 'external', 'ScanClock');

  If you need duty cycle 50%, you must create your own clock using a channel of meter output as you did above. If you connect the clock to the GET, it can use it; and if you need your equipment OR to dribble the clock output of counter (instead of the clock on board), you would also import counter signal output in the session and be sure to set the rate of session to match the output frequency of the counter. Assuming that s.Channels (2) is your output channel of the meter, the code below imports terminal scan on the same clock as the meter output channel, so no extra wiring is necessary.

  s.Rate = s.Channels (2). Frequency;

  s.addClockConnection ('external', ['dev2\' s.Channels (2).]) (Terminal Server], "ScanClock");

  This allows the device OR both your GET to run on the same clock. You can also have your session export a trigger to start with the syntax simillar to the above to make sure two devices on the same edge of clock.

  How can I get rid of this irritating pop-up message whenever outlook is open?

  Without knowing what are certificate errors, it is a shot-in-the-dark.

  80 90% of certificate in Windows XP errors can be attributed to one of the following two issues:

  1. Time Date, time, time zone, or light of day on your computer is/is not set correctly.  The time on your machine should be within 5 minutes of real time for certificates authenticate properly.  Right-click on your taskbar clock, and select time settings to check the correct time.  Synchronize time via Internet can solve this problem.
  2. Windows XP does a poor job of keeping its root certificates (certificates by which all other certificates are considered) up-to-date.  The newer versions of Windows did a much better job.  It certainly wouldn't hurt to update your root certificates and in many cases, this is all you need.  For update, visit the following article:

     Then go down to the subsection titled "root Update Package (for Windows XP only).  Then click on the option "update for root certificates for Windows XP...   I scanned a picture using 200bpi in JPG format.  The scanned image turns a 'fat' surface, a color of the Rainbow model this film through the image.  Anyone knows what is the cause of this and how improve analysis?

  You can start increasing your DPI, and if this does the trick may clean the scanner glass and the underside of the lid will help.

• Basic question on reading lists

  I'm learning to WMP11 and I do not understand the Playlist function when I synchronize with my SansaFuze player.

  In WMP, I created a playlist of songs that are ALREADY on my drive. When I went to sync the playlist, it seems that WMP is another copy of the song on the player.

  Does this mean that if I have a song about 10 different playlists, that the song will be repeated 10 times on my player?

  I think I do something wrong, because it would be a real waste of space.

  Can someone explain it to me or tell me the correct way to synchronize playlists to my Sansafuze?

  Put your player in MSC mode (you're probably in MTP mode, lower - use the settings menu to change) and use a different playlist creator. WMP11 is really shit for that sort of thing. Of course, I will recommend my own application:

• WMP Shared Library work

  I searched for a few days now and I can't find an answer to a question I have about Windows Media Player and work for music in a shared library, so I will try to explain here in the hope that someone might be able to help.

  There are two involved PC - one, machine 'A' is currently running Windows XP Pro and currently hosts all of my photos, video, music, etc. Machine 'B' runs Windows Vista Edition full and is generally used to hear or see the media of the machine.

  After a few questions of works of art in general I decied to try to pin down exactly what was going on.

  I erased the data files WMP on both machines and made sure there is no folders added to automatic records / default for both the libraries began as empty (initially find only 'local' music that comes with Windows itself).  Also, two WMP is set to not download any information from the internet media. Fine so far.

  On computer A, I created a test folder and put it in a folder with the tracks of an album and another folder with a few individual pieces of music. I also created an easily identifiable artwork for the album and for some of the individual tracks and made sure this work has been the unique work stored in the relevant music files ID3 tags.  I have also made sure there is no WMP work files in this folder to test (so not of Folder.jpg, AlbumArtSmall.jpg or AlbumArt_ {GUID} .jpg).

  I started up WMP again on computer A, and added this test folder to the library.  WMP correctly analysed and displayed a few items, he created the usual mess of it is work of course, files but it used * my * work from the ID3 tags.  Once again, great so far.  I put it to share its library.

  On computer B, I asked "look for other media share" and he immediately found the library shared by a machine.  However, if I look at the items in the shared library, I see the content of my file test, but with different illustrations - the art of actual coverage of the relevant albums.

  My first assumption was that, even if the machine B has been fixed to not download anything on the internet recovering always the album artwork for the items in the shared library.  To test this, I have blocked access to internet on my router and again allowed out WMP files on computer B.  When he again accesses the library shared on computer A, it immediately displays the work of 'bad' again - but he could not have received this Web this time, if he get all this?

  I assume that the work is cached somewhere and picked up images of a previous connection to my comprehensive library on the computer B the machine, but I don't want to.  I want to use the work in the files of current music, like WMP on machine made.

  I'm a bit puzzled, because I don't even know if machine B becomes the ('bad') work from somewhere in itself, or if it comes from the machine.  I can't imagine that it's from a machine - why WMP on this machine would use the 'proper' work itself but then give another machine a copy cached in the work of 'bad '.  So presumably, these images come from somewhere on computer B, or is there another explanation?

  Sorry that took so long to explain, I can't believe Microsoft had done this so complicated.

  After a better looking PC in question, I could have answered my own question, I thought I would add here in case this is useful to someone else...

  It seems that WMP (and Media Center) on the Vista machine at least keep several copies of the updated album art cache in multiple places and using different format of file names - that's why the failure of my first attempt to locate them.

  So after having erased the following folders:

  %LocalAppData%/Microsoft/eHome/art cache

  Cache drive/Art %LocalAppData%/Microsoft/Media/LocalMLS

  %LocalAppData%/Microsoft/Media Player/MCH/Albums

  Both Windows Media Player and Media Center on my Vista machines, reloaded the correct album artwork - I don't know if they use the ID3 tags on music files or work remote library files, but as they were all based on my work now, I don't actually mind.

• Win32 PKU [TRG] Virus or Malware Downloader

  I use the free version of Avast more Malwarebytes that I use on my Inspiron 14R - Windows 7.  That afternoon, Avast began with pop - up warnings saying:

  Blocked Trojan horse.

  Infection: Win 32 Downloader PKU [Trg] and

  Infection: Win 32 Malware - gen

  Action: Moved to the chest.

  I ran Spybot and Malwarebytes.  They have found and cleaned a few things but pop ups keep coming.

  These warnings are popping up every 5 minutes or more.  I googled 'Win 32 Downloader PKU [Trg]' and the trusted site only talk about malware is an Avast forum which recommended to post a long report, disabling Avast, download and run software programs and so on.  Messages from the forum on the issue are very recent, but what they offer seems a bit too complicated for me.

  This is a serious issue and is there a more easy way to deal with it.  I don't understand why it's only a matter of Avast.  I can do a restore or should I buy or use another anti-virus software?

  Any advice would be appreciated.

  It is there really not enough information (for example, the NAME of files that avast has detected).

  "Malware - gen" peut indicate a virus - then again, it may simply be a 'false positive' detection... especially if, as you said, "it's only a matter of Avast.   (Which again once underscores the need for you to process carefully, getting a correct analysis of YOUR particular situation.)

  I think I have found the avast forum thread you are referring.   One of the tools submitted ComboFix.   Note that ComboFix should NOT be run unless we personally recommend to do it, under the supervision of a malware removal expert.

  Unfortunately, head-to-analysis or remove malware is is more done on the Dell Forums.

• Case of Windows 7 is not viable

  I extensively use Briefcase to synchronize my mobile travel with my office. I wear almost my lifetime of work in two large synchronized files. Windows 7 seems to make the unusable towel. (1) source file a.sync and b. status are missing from the display of the default Windows Explorer. I finally understood how to restore, but it is hardly friendly. (2) analysis of synchronization is so slow, he needs to speed up to stop (usually Task Manager says it is out of order), but he (I think) usually come if you wait long enough. I gave up on wireless because I think it's worse. (3) if there is a way to "split the original", so that the files or directories can be removed the towel, I have not figured out how. (4) other strange things happen. My towel "Criticism" has changed a briefcase in a normal folder for reasons that I don't understand. A file marked read-only, which would not synchronize, and after you remove the read-only attribute, synchronize and outgoing, the Briefcase icon has been replaced by the folder icon and had more features of the case. (Which may not be the reason why, I did other things, but it was strange,.). -If anyone at MS is interested to make viable case, I'd like to help. -SY wink

  If a synchronization, so emergency and professional title may need to buy such as BellSync, Allway Sync or GoodSync synchronization software. In addition, if the data management part of profession, you can have pals who can try different software and collaborate in the best of what is out there. Once again, if you make more money by being on your A - game with synchronization of files that it pays to buy software specialist instead of kicking and cry about it to hear everything, no? Good software is only about $ 20. I do less than 30 k per year and can afford only :)

  I'm new to the Community MS and I come with a problem of activation that I hope you can help me solve.

  I bought a W7 Ultimate in 2010 and I've been enjoying it since then. Activation was no problem then, but now my PC is getting old, and I decided to move the system to another, more modern PC. After moving 'my' W7 Ultimate details to the new PC, with no problems, I was invited to activate it (again).  I first presented as original product key and it was denied. I tried again through the automated phone and at the end of a long process, the voice told me that my copy of W7 is allowed only on one PC.  What is the problem or what to do, I'm wrong? It's very frustrating. I would like to talk to a real person for help from MS, but taxes are not allowed, it's why I try to get help here.

  I'm trying to share text, but none of the system applications seem to support UTF8 character. I am trying to share a text string that included the® character, the character appears as a box with an X in it in text messages and a diamond with a question mark in the email app.

  BB10 OS takes just not in UTF - 8 in many of its native applications?

  Seems not be documentation on what encoding is supported by email, SMS, apps etc.

  Apparently it is the UTF-8 support, for the email application, at least. Calling function QString toUtf8() on the data until it is set correctly analysis the character.

  I wonder if there is a way to do it in right QML, though, or if there is a syntax that is supported for the insertion of codes of UTF-8 characters in the string and having analyzed them automatically, as I tried to do.

• Cannot update Windows 8 to be able to update 8.1

  When I go to the store and click on 8.1, Windows tells me I need to update of Windows 8, I did to install updates, and then restart.

  Any clue?

  It is so ridiculous and typical.

  Try the following

  (1) reset store cache-Windows key + R, type wsreset.exe, enter

  (2) make sure that your region, the Date and time are correct

  (6) open a Type sfc/scannow (Admin) command prompt, restart when finished

  (7) open a command-line (Admin) type dism.exe / online/cleanup-image /restorehealth
