  I have a HP with Windows Vista (32 bit) dv6646us and have had a problem with the audio device.   I have a single video drivers and it's an intel one so no geforce or amd, I tried to go into the BIOS, but it didn't work as I have only 1 video driver, I tried to go to the economy mode and then high-performance, I tried to uninstall and reinstall and still nothing energy.   I am installing ESXi4 or 5 on a Dell 2950.  I'm not an expert material guy, but I think the controller is a Perc 5 controller hardware / i.  It is a processor of Intel Xeon dual core CPU 2.

  I see only the processors Xeon 5xxx and above seem to be supported, and I honestly don't know if mine it fits or not but when I had installed CentOS and made ' less/proc/cpuinfo', no model number came, just that it was a Xeon processor.

  When I install ESXi on this server (I turned on hardware virtualization in the BIOS), the installation looks ok, but when the computer restarts, it always seems to try to load my old server CentOS so it's as if the installation has not completely replace the drive. Raid Controller had 2 virtual disks so maybe I didn't replace what was a disc of "boot"?  I will try that next.

  Guess I'm looking for confirmation that the CPU is ok and I'm missing nothing else.

  1 in the raid bios remove the raid and create a new one, and then reinstall esxi.

  I'm sorry, but I have another question. I'm so sick of this. I swear that my system, the material is good (tablet of Motion LE1600 quite common with WinXP svc pk 3 & Security Essentials from a full reimage a month ago)

  Before installing the latest version I recommend you remove the old first. Do a restart and install the most recent.

  Hi, I would be grateful for help on this, I bought a new seagate expansion external hard drive not too long ago (abt 3 months old) and tried to use the device only recently (to back up my files). Windows has detected the drive but says that it could not find the drivers. (code 28)

  When I tried the drive on a 32-bit computer, it showed up working find and dandy. When it is plugged in the computer of the alien-ware, same error.
  Tried the uninstall from Device Manager and restart the computer, still the same error.

  I have a lenovo u410 and when I updated to windows 8.1 like many people my home dolby cinema did not work.

  So, I tried to find the answer and fix it myself. I uninstalled all audio drivers and downloadled then the new but when I try to install it "can not find the device" I don't get any audio from my laptop and I don't know what to do.

  I'm confused, I have two audio drivers in my drives C: and D: (D: is a SSD) Please help I really like this laptop but I had a number of problems with it.
