Cover blackBerry Smartphones if I bought a façade of housing could it be sent to the manufacturers to install for me?

So I'm not risking something of screwing.

If yes what would cost?

Or am I stuck after a few hours of gentle massacre of my beloved device...

You're stuck after a few hours of gentle massacre of your loved one.  RIM is not.  I have the 9700 apart but I got the 8900 apart and it is not so difficult.  There are videos of disassembly there.  Just do a google search.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones location of saved Text messages and downloads please as a desire to update the device software

I have a Blackberry 9300. I noticed while testing option 'restore' in Blackberry Desktop Software 'Saved messages' is grey so not able to restore and downloaded programs were not included in the backup course so I'm delaying the update of the OS 6 bundle OS 6 bundle 1879 2949 until I can get these issues resolved. First of all, where are my saved text messages would be they located on the SD card? Secondly, where are the downloaded applications and how would bring him back, I should reinstall individually or is there a better method I guess updating the software of the device would eliminate any reference to them? Thanks in advance, Marcia

My problem, I think that will be most of the downloads and installations have been from the Blackberry web, although "My World" lists apps, I have only the option to remove and reinstall yet if I so choose. That's why I need to dig a little deeper on the aspect of the place here.

To reinstall your applications, see this KB:

    • KB17625 How to install or transfer has already purchased apps from BlackBerry App World for BlackBerry smartphone

You may also need to clear the cache of application AppWorld:

    1. open the App World

    2. go to my world

    3. follow one (and only one!) of these steps:

    3. for the BB keyboard-oriented - hold down the ALT key and press on, in the sequence R, then S, then T

3B. for touch screen only BBs - hold the num-lock (! 123 button) so that it hangs and then press on, in the sequence 3, then 4, then)

    3 c for the most recent (e, g., OS6 and 7) BB s, see this KB:

    • KB24714 How to clear the cache of BlackBerry App World

    4 AppWorld must close

    5. If your BB locks after issuing clear cache, do a battery pull reboot

    6. return to AppWorld/MyWorld (it can be slow, while it re - sync).

If (4) stage arrives not as described, then the empty the cache failed.

I was also interested to read your information on the primary database of smartphone that made me wonder if it was at this location that the saved text messages were built. I mention this as I save some of my text messages I can consult at any time by selecting 'View the Messages stored' in the menu messages text, which lists the emails and text messages, that you saved.

The Interface of Messages is against the databases on the BB... Watch a saved messages can be as simple as a filter that is applied to display only those, but always from the same database. Also understand that the 'Messages' is a term Super set, with "email", "SMS", and other types of messages into subsets.

Saving messages electronic elsewhere are not a problem but saved SMS backup does not seem to be an option, why would I need to check this feature before upgrading the device software. Appreciate your answer to that one.

As I said, I suspect saved SMS Messages to be a subset of the base of great set 'SMS Messages"together with the message 'saved' being a subset within this database.

I can't answer definitively for you because I've never had the problem you are experiencing. You may need to test to know for sure.

    Good luck!

    Hi niranaja

If your device is running always on OS 7.0 then try 7.1 any Pack OS carrier that also supports Languages. But of Southeast Asia before opening your computer and uninstall any previous packs if installed OS on it. After that, try this:

    1. download and install on your PC a pack OS with any language by carriers

    • (Make sure you download for the same phone model)

    2. download and install the latest version of BlackBerry desktop from here BlackBerry desktop software software

    • C:\Users\Windows UserName\AppData\Roaming\Research in Motion\BlackBerry\Loader XML

    4. go into C:\Program Files Research In Motion\AppLoader. (For Vista or Windows 7 64-bit, the path will be C: > Program Files x 86 > common files > Research In Motion > AppLoader) double-click on Loader.exe.

Upgrade will continue then after Installation of the new OS restore your BlackBerry Desktop backup

    Software.

Once done open BlackBerry Desktop Software (7.1) > select Applications. > in the section of language and support for entry , select the language to be added to the BlackBerry smartphone (a + will appear next to the language to install) > click apply.

For Blackberry users who manage Facebook Pages for businesses on-the-go, this update has paralyzed the.

Why the Blackberry would release an update with this feature huge setback?

BlackBerry did not test the application before the launch of the update?

Many Blackberry users are upset.  Many leave blackberry for android or iOS.  Just read the comments on the Facebook app in the Blackberry world.   BlackBerry might be able to save some of these Blackberry users by communicating to its customers and to ensure that there will be a fix in the near future.  Most of the users of BB, a Facebook application works correctly is crutial and their application more frequently used on their device.

    Once again, BLACKBERRY...  Communication please!...

#1) blackBerry is never forward-looking information.  Even if they were working on a fix (and I hope they are) they don't tell us.

Y at - there a site where I can add (risk free) image of the cover of the album to some of the songs I downloaded and added to the music library on my blackberry? • Cover blackBerry Smartphones Media Sync Art lacks some

I have Cover Art for all my songs in iTunes, but Media Sync brings only on some of them.  I have a lot of space on the card.  Is there something I need to check or change in iTunes so those missing is transferred?

on an audio file, the package is stored in the id3tags of the music file.
There are certain formats for id3tags. For the old format (ID3v2), the artwork is stored in a field called PIC. v2 format is obsolete and replaced by a newer version.
in the new format, the package is stored in a field called APIC, what's the best (mainly because you can store PNG). Unfortunately, Apple iTunes uses the obsolete format.

what you can do is use another software of management of music files to add the correct APIC field. You can use the tag & rename (there is a free comprehensive trial) or Songbird (always free). When the APIC field is stored, the magic is that iTunes can read it too.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones Message folder and each individual e-mail messages with account? What's the point?

I am a new owner of blackberry 8330 and I try to navigate around him.  I have set up my email with my AT & T email yahoo.  I see the icons for each of these accounts on the screen with all icons, each showed as a separate email account.  So why, when I click on my icon 'message', make all the emails of these accounts?  Seems to be a bit redundant for me to have icons for each email and then the 'message' box where they all appear. (And I do not have separate SMS icon and I don't know it is for text messages.)  In any case, there must be a reason for all messages from this one place.  Any help, anyone?

Also, is there a way I can give these email accounts passwords so if someone had to pick up my phone, they couldn't read my emails?  I really don't want to have to lock my phone or have to sign my phone everytime I want to use it, a few passwords of these accounts.

    Thank you.

Some people like their messages to go to the same place. Personally, I find it boring so I created a folder on my home screen and I put in all the applications that I use right here, so I don't even have to watch them, but always know where they are snacks I have needed one of them. Password protecting your email, you can not, you can lock only of the whole device.

  • Emails from blackBerry Smartphones don't automatically get pushed to my curve. Only when I use the browser.

Yesterday, I posted my emails from my hotmail account seem to come in batches to my Curve 8330. Someone suggested that the problem was due to MS Messenger running on my computer. That makes sense, so I considered resolved thread. Unfortunately, the same thing occurs still even after I Quit Messenger. In situations of this kind, it would be useful to post again this same thread, so that we can follow the previous suggestions.

However, do the following on your BlackBerry:

2 send your service from your carrier's BIS site books.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones is it possible to see my phone numbers and addresses I saved in the blackberry Desktop Manager

I know it's maybe a silly question - but I was finally able to download the blackberry Desktop Manager and then back up all the data from my blackberry to my computer via Desktop Manager.  For my own peace of mind, I would like to see some of these data (addresses and phone numbers) just to make sure I did the back up properly.  Is this possible?

Well, your confidence level in the backup process is your own to define. Maybe if you start the restore process, but do not actually run it, DTM might give you indications of what it contains. I agree that I saw the posts of others who say that the backup was useless... but I have no way of judging if their characteristics are identical to yours.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones Voice Mail problem: is there a way to just press 1 to enter the voicemail without entering a password?

Why do we have to enter a password every time?  is there a way to simply set a password?

You can set it up by pressing the phone button, then press the BB Menu button.  Select Options > voicemail.  You can fill out the second line (which took me forever to remember how ).  Once you have added the password, simply press the BB Menu button and select Save.  Your phone will now automatically the password for you when you call voicemail.

  • I was wondering if I bought a monthly subscription that I could cancel and still use the Lightroom program 5 I have installed

I already bought and installed 5 Lightroom a year ago. However on the Adobe website they offer 5 Lightroom and Photoshop CC as a package of $9.00. I was wondering if I bought the monthly subscription, if I could cancel and always use Lightroom 5 program I have installed if I decide to cancel.

    [Title edited by moderator]

    Hi Patrick,

At any time if you decide to cancel the subscription of creative cloud (plan $9.99), you will always be able to use the Lightroom 5 stand-alone program that you purchased.

But with creative cloud subscription, you get a free upgrade to Lightroom to the current version which is Lightroom CC/6. If you upgrade your Lightroom CC catalog with the subscription and then, you wouldn't be able to downgrade this to Lightroom 5 catalog later.
