  do not really need to do much with it except from time to time to update programs, so I connect to it the using connection since a ultimate win7 remote desktop machine and an another win xp pro machine.  everything works very well for more than a year.

  any suggestions?  I need this machine to accept remote connections, and in any case stop crashing when someone tries.  I have done a ton of anti-malware analysis, using a dozen programs different in case, but didn't find anything.  the daily program is microsoft security essentials, but I run several scanners/cleaners and found nothing.

  also ran ccleaner just in case it was something registry

  any suggestions on how to fix this?  is there a method to reinstall this function or?

  a single note; I CAN remote in the other computers on my win7 ultimate box, so it's certainly that a target of winxp machine.

  [edit] I did a full scan with several software products malware/anti-virus (including malwarebyes, spyware, microsoft security databases Dr.) and nothing found.

  also custom restoration system for some reason, so I can't go that route

  and I tried Office remotely to control another computer, and that works fine, so its only when the computer is a target

  If it then restarts, it's probably a blue error screen. I suggest you to disable the auto restart and reproduce the problem. If it you encounter a blue screen then, let us know the exact error message and code. To disable automatic reboot follow the steps mentioned below.

  a. right click on my computer and then click Properties.

  b. click on the Advanced tab.

  c. under Startup and recovery, click settings to open the startup and recovery dialog box.

  d. clear the checkbox automatically, restart and then click OK, the number of times required.

  e. restart your computer so that the settings take effect.

  I also suggest you to check the event logs. Follow the steps mentioned in the article below.

  If you need assistance for updating BIOS (Basic Input Output System), I recommend you contact the manufacturer of your computer to update the BIOS (Basic Input Output System) & check if the problem persists.

  Microsoft Word doesn't do not part of the operating system. You will need to locate your original software and reinstall.

  Microsoft Works is no longer supported or provided.  It must come from the manufacturer of your computer most likely anyway.  They should provide you with the means to restore it.

  I suggest using Free agency (free) for a replacement if you take Microsoft Office (Home versions are relatively good markets).

  2. which edition of windows vista you are using?
  We do not know what exactly is causing this problem. I suggest you check for error messages in the event viewer. If you find error messages after return the exact error message so that we can help you better.
  Measures to check the application event log:
   
  1. click on start.
  2. in the search box type eventvwr.msc, and then on enter.
  3. now, click Application in the event viewer (local).
  4. now locate the event log on the right side of the event viewer window.

  I had my computer crash and need to restore to get running properly .will not start after trying to install Nvidia WDDM1.1... He tried several times. OS trying to repair the startup on components but cannot do going on restore and then will start after other updates work fine...

  The system works well otherwise? If this is the case, I wouldn't bother trying to install the driver.

  My Macintosh Mac Pro starts from a disc SSD PCIE, and all my apps are on this drive. All my photos are on a RAID5 installed four HD in the four drive bays in the Mac Pro. Since Yosemite OS 10.10.4, everytime I try to open some photos or import scanned to this RAID, new Lightroom crashes my computer. I can access my photos through Finder without problem. Therefore, the conflict seems to be between Lightroom and the RAID. If anyone has heard of this problem, please let me know.

  If it locks the computer, it's a hardware malfunction or a driver out-of-day/corrupted somewhere. If you try to import or edit photos in Lightroom, when the problem occurs, it can mean that you have defective memory chips, or maybe a faulty fan, or there is a network incompatibility.

• PE 3 freezes and crashes computer

  I did several short films with PE3 and have never had and the difficulties that I could not overcome--until now.  Everything has been the same for this project as before, i.e. a video captured of my camera MiniDV, no problem. Now when I edit, PE3 freezing - sometimes 15 minutes in a project, sometimes just after I restart and begin to make another edit.  Above all, it seems to happen when I click on a clip and read in the small popup window. It freezes and the audio is on a loop of 2 seconds. The entire computer crashes at that time here - even not a Ctrl-Alt-Del will have an effect.

  There were a few messages about a file hash with KB2482017 inconsistency, but said positions were IE8 running in Windows XP.

  Suggest you manually download the update and Save it - Cumulative Security Update for Internet Explorer 8 in Windows 7 x 64 Edition (KB2482017)
  Once the download is complete, close all the programs/applications and browsers and then run Windows6. 1 KB2482017-x 64.msu, as you would for a .exe file.

• Windows Update crashes computer

  Update Windows automatically updated and then restarted my computer yesterday.  The computer does not restart.  I tried F8 to restart last good configuration, but it will not - restart it crosses all the drivers and then freezes.  If I click on "Start windows normally" it will try to go to the Welcome screen, but it closed its doors, restarts, shut its doors, restarts several times until I just turn off the computer.  I have windows XP.  In safe mode, it will run by the drivers and then freeze.  I can't go to the Welcome screen.  I can't on the desktop to run anything.  I can't go to the start menu.  Help, please.
